Gorgeous view of the skyline. The food was delicious, big portions and very affordable! Definitely going back!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother great time!Shi is one of my fave restaurants! The view of the city alone is worth coming here! My husband brought me here for mothers day we brought our 3 month old and it was great! We came here alot before we had the baby and were happy that Shi was able to accomodate. They only have booster seats (really cute ones) so we had to keep our baby in his infant carseat on a chair which was fine. We had the bacon wrapped shrimp, crab ragoons and lychee calamari all were delicious! The medusa roll was great if u like spicy! The pineapple fried rice is the best I have ever tried anywhere else!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat experieneWent here with MIL and hubby for mother's day dinner. Great ambiance, trendy and nice view of the city at UN building. Little pricey entrees and cocktails. Rolls and appetizers same as hood prices.

The view of Manhattan is spectacular. The service is helpful and attentive. The menu is extensive, Thai & Japanese, all excellent. And Eric, the bartender, creates a warm welcome from the beginning.
I found SHI via Open Table because I wanted to leave Manhattan to venture out to LIC. It's a super easy subway ride and worth the trip.11/20/2012 12:00:00 AM
