"Celebrated a birthday at SHI w/ 6 friends, and everyone loved the food. Hot food was served hot, evidence that it was freshly made. I didn't eat the sushi, but those who did said it was great. Interesting specials also offered in addition to pretty substantial menu. Will definitely return. Bit pricey, but well worth every cent!"

"Best restaurant in queens for Asian fusion! I always eat the chicken lettuce wraps and Chilean Seabass, which are amazing!!!! The sushi is so fresh too! All the food here is great and I have NEVER been disappointed. Service is great and the bartenders are even better! Amazing views of NYC too."

"Went with 7 people the bill came out to about $250.00. The view is amazing and the food was delicious. Make sure to reserve a spot on open table because the place gets packed on the weekends. Overall an outstanding place to take a date or just go with a group of friends to have drinks and some good food!!"

"It was a Sunday night, the restaurant was pretty empty. Service was prompt and courteous . Tuna tartare appetizer was delicious, as was the sashimi, and unfiltered saki. Pie ala mode was decent. I did have an issue with the duck, it was a bit rubbery,and the sauce was heavy and overwhelming . All said and done, I would go back. I want to sit outside, enjoy the manhattan vista, and try some other dishes."

"SHI is one of my all time favorite restaurants. Chinese food that cannot be beat, there is literally not a bad thing on the menu. If you don't live in LIC, take the short ride on the 7 - you won't regret it. This restaurant doesn't even need the breathtaking view of Mahattan to stand out from the crowd...it's just the cherry on top!"

"Loved the place and the food was great, however does have the feel of more of a neighborhood place rather than a classy place. We enjoyed it a lot, but was expecting something a few classes higher. Will definitely go there again, because the food was really good."
