Sherwood's LandingExcellent food, first classExcellent food, first class service...A truly memorable meal.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding diningFood is always excellent. Staff is very attentive and non-intrusive. Very low noise level. Waterfront view. Tremendous ambiance.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMbetter than everWe have dined at The Inn at Perry Cabin at least three times and each time it was the weak spot of the visit. But this time..this time, the food was spectacular. My wife had the lamb and I had the pork chop entree and we both declared that it was memorable. In fact, I asked if the chef had been changed and was told that Chef Daniel has been there since Thanksgiving 2012. Make sure he doesn't leave. The waiter was very professional, attentive, helpful and understanding. (We had my mother with us who was celebrating her 98th birthday and she had to leave early for her room due to health issues.) The waiter couldn't be more accommodating. WE will be back, and probably bring friends.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMIt is a lovely restaurantIt is a lovely restaurant in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend it.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMA GemThe tone is set the moment you walk through the main lobby doors. Everyone greeted you politely, the decor was just lovely. Our server Sam was informative & polite, our table had a nice view of the outdoors, the food was sublime (as expected). My scallos were cooked perfectly & my hubby thoroughly enjoyed hs porkchops. It was our 20th wedding anniversary & the surprise after-dinner treat of macaroons & madeleines with candle & written greeting was a nice touch.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMQuite simply THE best !!We've had a house on the Eastern Shore for over 30 years and have enjoyed the burgeoning
food scene that has developed over the years. Our experience at dinner (we were 8 people
ranging from 23 to 70) Friday at Sherwood Landing under the new chef was perhaps the best we've had here or anywhere (and I also live in NYC). Truly outstanding
on all fronts. The menu takes advantage of the local specialties like crab and oysters
and takes them to a higher, fresher, lighter level. Crab cakes over creamed corn, cod
over a bed of french lentils, oyster pie, even filet mignon. Every dish was superb.
The dining room is lovely (with a cosy fire going that night), table placement and
service excellent. Can't wait to return !!3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a great experienceWe had a great experience at Sherwood's Landing. Friendly, welcoming, and smiling employees, very good service, outstanding food and drink, and a great view. Recommend highly.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMWe ate both lunch and dinnerWe ate both lunch and dinner here on successive days. The food at each meal was delicious and unique. The dining room overlooks the beautiful Miles River in St Michaels--which, in itself, makes a visit here special. The service was attentive and impressive. Each of our party of four is looking forward to the next visit.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMSherwood's Landing is a greatSherwood's Landing is a great restaurant in an incredible inn. We ate there two nights and had a wonderful meal both nights. Menu options were numerous and everything was well-presented and tasted great. Try their specials! Being there off-season, we enjoyed a quieter dining experience with very good service. It is a bit pricey but the location, the ambiance and the food make it all worthwhile!1/6/2013 12:00:00 AMWow, great lunch....what aWow, great lunch....what a delicious creation of roasted beet and goat cheese & arugula with hazelnut vinaigrette and a tiny scoop of horseradish ice cream, I will have to recreate this at home. Lamb sliders outstanding as well. Service very enthusiastic and professional. We will be back next year when back in town.12/14/2012 12:00:00 AM
