The service was prompt . The band the Rockinghams had the bar area packed and jumping. I have eaten there a number of times and the food is always wonderful . Try the strawberry fields salad. They set up a table for gifts for the baby shower. They were attentive and polite. We unexpectedly had a toddler with the group and they were wonderful and friendly and supportive. The staff that served us and set up the tables deserve many kudos. The staff at Shandon Court always gives us extra attention when we bring our guide dog in for training. They're creative in the kitchen as well as out. The menu was a bit limited b/c it was a special holiday menu (so many of the items we had hoped to order were not on the menu). Some prices were also marked up b/c of the holiday -- I ordered a drink that was marked $10 on the menu, but showed up at as $12 on my bill. I didn't question it b/c it was so busy we just wanted to pay and get going. Overall, however the food was PHENOMENAL and the atmosphere was wonderful. They had live music and it was kid friendly. The staff are very attentive and professional and allow its customers to eat their dinners in an un-hurried manner. Our server, Ryan, wad delightful; he was warm, friendly and very knowledgable on the menu, how food is cooked and served etc... One in our party ordered Sheppard's Pie which she thought was okay but all other meals were great; I had the short ribs-thought they were outstanding.
