Pre-theater dinner, and no reservation needed. Our server was kind and I appreciated her appetizer recommendation, the Hummus was delicious! Drinks arrived after a long wait. I asked for mine straight up, but got served on the rocks. No biggie, I can deal with a few ice cubes. We'd asked for water too, but water never arrived. When a 2nd waiter brought out our Hummus, I asked him for water, but after another 5 minutes of waiting, I headed to the bar and got my own water. Entrees arrived. My partner's stuffed peppers with quinoa and fajita veggies were terrific. My Irish cooked salmon was way overcooked and bland, not to be outdone by the mushy buckwheat noodle salad that accompanied it.

We discovered this restaurant through open table. It has been there about two months according to the hostess. The menu is quite original for our area. Hawaiian inspired, the menu has dishes from many locals. The also feature several original vegetarian options. The server was quick and polite. The food was hot and tasty, except dessert which was cold and tasty (ice cream). We will definitely be going there again.

  • Great for our Birthday Party!
    Dined on 8/17/2014
We had a party of 9 adults for a 27th birthday. The ambience was fun and very appropriate for our group who love to travel to tropical places and love fishing & seafood! The food was very good. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered, from the Mahi Mahi to the burritos to the rice bowls. The food tasted very fresh, and we arrived during happy hour so drinks were very reasonably priced. Our waitress was very accommodating. If something was forgotten, she immediately rushed to take care of it. We were able to bring in our own specialty birthday cake, which we really appreciated! The only negative was that we had to wait a bit while they brewed us a pot of coffee to have with our birthday cake, so order the coffee ahead of time.
