  • "LOVE THIS PLACE, GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, GREAT DRINKS! IT REALLY HAS ITS OWN PERSONALITY AND FLAIRE! A FAVORITE PLACE TO GO GET APPETIZERS AND DRINKS BEFORE GOING TO DINNER AS WELL! OR LATE NIGHT DRINKS AND DESSERTS AFTER DINNER!"

  • "First time going to Seviche for dinner. We had a platter of 5 different seviches prepared that we shared. Beautiful presentation, delicious taste, edible art! We paired our great food with 1/2 bottle of wine on Sunday evening. That made it even better. Hard to not smile with you are drinking sparking wine at 1/2 price, eating amazing culinary treats, and enjoying great company. I will go back and soon. New fav in the Ville!"

  • "Great food as always, but the prices are not the same. They keep raising their prices on us. Even the wine list has few good wines below $70.00. I understand the hike on Valentines Day, Derby weekend. Still one of my favs! It never disappoints."

  • "We have always loved this restaurant and on this visit the food was even better than the last time. Chef Lamas is an up and comer - on TV with Bobby Flay and his cooking has certainly expanded since we were last there. The ceviche trio was delicious - so much food I had to split it - - all brightly seasoned and flavored - every thing super fresh. The swordfish entrée was absolutely delicious - cooked perfectly and the accompaniments of manchego cheese , mushroom orzo risotto was to die for. My husband tried the seafood fideo which was fresh and tasty - not a wrong note. Service was efficient and unhurried (a positive) and the chef was super friendly - the best part? The brown butter ice cream - delicious!"

  • "Seviche offers a consistently impressive menu. The use of sustainable seafood is also a point that we truly value. Every bite (and drink) from appetizer to dessert was delicious, beautiful, and memorable."

  • "We booked our reservation last minute on the Friday that KY played Louisville for final 16. Not only did they set a nice place for our large party, they made us feel like regulars. Amazing Latin flavors and unique dishes. The food is simply delightful and the service was top shelf all the way."

  • "This is my 5th or 6th time to Seviche and it is one of the most consistently good restaurants in town. Excellent food and cocktails and always a fun time."

  • "Our guest from Tokyo and Showa University was stunned by the food and plating at Serviche. I knew that the menu would suit him due to influence of Japanese migrants on the cooking styles of western Latin America. The ceviche selections were perfect for him; a sushi loving Japanese. He praised the plating. Kuddos to the Serviche kitchen!"

  • "My salad and the striped bass and crab cigar were fabulous!!! My husband is not a seafood fan. He had the lamb stew, which he said tasted liked canned soup and the shirt steak and mashed potatoes. He insisted that I try the potatoes. I have never tasted anything so salty in my life. I've thrown away food i cooked that was less salty I suspect that's why the lamb stew tasted like canned soup as well. I understand that the focus is on fish, but I don't understand how one dinner could be marvelous and another almost inedible."

  • "I'll start with the good news- Everyone in my group loved our appetizers and marveled at how fresh and flavorful everything tasted. The service was fantastic all around and we were happy that they serve all responsibly sourced meats. The bad news is we were disappointed with some menu items. Two people in my group had the pork special, and the pork chops were tough and full of gristle. It happens, but it shouldn't happen in an entree priced over 30 dollars. We also got desert- avocado ice cream in a chocolate shell. It was frozen solid and couldn't even be cut into with a knife. The waitress handled it so courteously and took it off the bill. All of the other food we ordered was great, so we will probably give Seviche a second chance!"

  • "Seviche is now my new favorite restaurant!! Went last Friday night and got to sit in the "Brown Lounge"...with the beautiful suede walls and low leather couches!! Great cozy, warm ambiance. terrific food and fantastic, attentive service! So I came back for more this past weekend, and again experienced the same fab service and food! Thank you !!!"

  • "We loved the ceviche. Wahoo and albacore tuna were standouts. The tilefish was delicious but lacked the "dirty martini" flavors advertised. Overall, well worth the $49 for 5 full serving tasting menu."

  • "Seviche never disappoints - Gerald made custom cocktails (corpse reviver #2 - Google it!), my favorite oyster shooters, the outstanding chimichurri skirt steak, flour less chocolate cake, and impeccable service from Krista - reservations were made for our next dinner before we left."

  • "I love this restaurant. They have such amazing and delicious innovative food! They opened my eyes to the world of ceviche, and I also had the best duck nachos of my life here. This is a must-see-experience restaurant every time I'm in Louisville!"

  • "This is my favorite restaurant in Louisville. My wife and I have enjoyed fine meals here ever since it opened. Business colleagues, friends, and family members have all been our guests here, and everyone has enjoyed the restaurant. It has never disappointed us. A special note also about the service. The wait staff is well-trained, very personable, and help make the dining experience pleasurable. If you have never been here, do not wait any longer to make your first reservation. I will bet that you will return almost as often as I will."

  • "The food is a bit unusual for me, but I can always find an excellent chicken and/or steak dish. Skirt steak was excellent so was the chicken. Best mojitos I have had, try it."

  • "This was our 2nd visit to Seviche. The quality of the food is outstanding. Our service was also outstanding. She was able to explain to explain the menu in layman's terms. It is a little pricey for most people, but it makes for a special dinner. Make a reservation!"

  • "The creativity of the chef comes through in the nicely updated menu. We go there frequently and I am always pleasantly surprised with new menu selection that taste outstanding. The wine list continually gets new additions which suites us great because we like trying new wines. Like good wine, eating at Seviche is an experience that ages beautifully but does not get old. Kudos to Chef Lamas and his team for an outstanding job!! We are a happy repeat customers."

  • "We got two appetizers and three different types of seviche, which were all amazing. We decided no to get entrées, we just wanted to try the seviche since this was our first experience here. The waiter provided outstanding service and had outstanding recommendations as well. The wine he recommended was fitted very well to his seviche and "starter" recommendations. We had a very positive experience here and can't wait to the chance to go back!!"

  • "The meal was great! Start with the Pork Belly... You must try this. The soup/salad was great followed by an awesome entrée. We both chose from the chef's daily specials. Dessert was over the top too. You can not go wrong at Seviche...."

  • "Seviche food, service and atmosphere are fantastic! The place to go in Louisville if you are looking for a great dinner experience."

  • "The food was incredibly good but the service was not. Staff was very in attentive and the server did not seem very interested in offering any suggestions or doing anything to enhance our dining experience. Plus he gave me the wrong dish that didn't even order. For an upscale, white tablecloth restaurant I would expect a lot more from the staff. I saw what looked like a manager walk in and out of his office a lot but never saw him on the floor interacting with any guests. The food was good enough to where I would try it again but if the service is it any better it will be my last trip. Too many quality options out there to spend that kind of money and be ignored."

  • "I took my wife to Seviche for Valentine's Day and the experience was a great one! Our waiter was helpful without being overboard and the food was delicious! From the bison empanadas to skirt steak with chimichurri to the avocado ice cream (it tastes much better than it sounds), our dinner was perfect from beginning to end. We will not be waiting until next February to revisit Seviche!"

  • "We normally prepare a celebratory meal at home on Valentine's Day but, since we had not eaten out much over the last few months, I decided to make reservations for an early meal, 5 PM. We were greeted with valet parking, help down the stairs (I'm recovering from a broken leg), smiles at the front desk and bar and immediate seating. Our server was attentive without interrupting and, before we made our menu choices, let us know that, because of the number of people they were going to be servicing on Valentine's, the chef had decided not to allow substitutions. Since this resulted in diners being served promptly, I thought it a reasonable and thoughtful way to handle it all. AND THE MUSIC WAS GREAT!"

  • "VERY loud! My wife and I ordered 2 drinks, 2 appetizers, and 2 empanada plates. The waiter was obviously unhappy that we weren't ordering more and spending more money. "Is that all?", he said. We had an 8PM reservation and were seated at 8:45 PM. By then, we didn't want to each too much."

  • "With all the choices in Louisville, we try to mix things up and try new places. We've had this one on the list for awhile but never could make it work out until now. I wish we would've made it happen sooner. The food was outstanding and the service was top-notch. The chef came out to check on all the tables which just added to the experience. Again, with all the choices in the area it's tough to make our "we need to go back there" list but Seviche is now on that short list. If you've been on the fence for going here, stop waiting and make your reservation."

  • "Despite having a reservation, we waited 30 minutes to be seated. When we were seated we were given a table in the bar area, by the front door. It was cold! Neither the hostess nor the wait staff acknowledged the delay or less than ideal table with an apology or explanation. The food is decent. But Louisville has an abundance of great restaurants and there was nothing special on Seviche's menu to lure me back there for another iffy service experience."
