Seviche is Nuevo Latino, an eclectic mix of the traditional flavors of Latin American cuisine and its influences infused into new contemporary dishes. Our chef creates new exciting flavorful dishes based on his heritage and formal training. Chef Anthony Lamas has received national acclaim, John Mariani of Esquire Magazine exclaims "Seviche has emerged as one of America's best and most innovative Nuevo Latino-style restaurants, with plenty of the chef's personality packed into every dish." Seviche has received 4 stars from local food critics and continues to be a stand out among Louisville's top independent restaurants.



We have just completed an extensive renovation and expansion. New features include updated bar area, cocktail lounge, state of the art restrooms and 60 person private dining room.

    We frequent this restaurant because it consistently delivers excellent food and service. We arrived on a Friday evening and we were shown to a dismal table in the back of the resturant crammed into a back corner close behind a crowded table. I pointed out to the person showing us to the table that there was an empty table not far away. I was told that this table was going to be combined with two others for a party of twelve. When I pointed out that they could use the table in the corner for the same purpose and that everyone would have better seating, I was told that she could not take responsibility for adjusting. What made matters worse was that she would not ask. In the longer run, we were moved to a different table in a different room. The rest of our time was great. The management should organize the tables better.

    Good great as always but our waitress took our drunk and appetizer order and didn’t come back for 25 mins I had to go to the hostess stand to ask if they could find her, then she comes out from the kitchen apologizing

    Superb and unique dining experience. All of the dishes are very flavorful with an emphasis on Latin cuisine. The service was very good and everyone encountered was extremely friendly. Pricing is on the higher end, but not outrageous. We will definitely be back.

    Great drinks, service and food. The ceviche great as always, and skirt steak was spectacular - this is a must try if you enjoy red meat. Service was excellent (thank you to Melissa)!

    Consistancy and Unmatched Excellence at Seviche My wife and I have been dining at Seviche for over 18 years, and it remains one of the most consistently exceptional restaurants. We recently celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary there, and once again, the team at Seviche along with our server Boston, delivered an unforgettable evening. Jeff and Glenn are always attentive without being intrusive, and the staff makes every visit feel special—whether it's a milestone celebration or a spontaneous dinner out. The food? Always phenomenal. Chef Anthony Lamas and his team continue to impress with bold, creative flavors and beautifully presented dishes. Each visit reminds us why we keep coming back. Thank you for being a constant in our lives and for making every visit feel like a celebration.

    Don’t pass up the ceviche. We loved the ahi tuna with sesame and soy. Mahi mahi tacos were great and the halibut with crab rice equally delicious. Great service.

    Amazing food, lovely atmosphere and great service. We dined outdoors on the patio and started with our favorite appetizer there, the Guacamole! The Halibut and Salmon were both perfectly prepared. Seviche is one of my very favorite restaurants in Louisville for a reason.
