This was perfect. We enjoyed both sushi and steaks. The steaks were done perfectly, just as ordered. The quality of the beef was obvious, with an amazing sauce. The whole place has an easy going positive vibe w/ upscale appointments. Not stuffy, but very nice! Our steaks were perfectly cooked to order w/ a seafood sauce that was amazing. Sushi appetizer was wonderful and side orders were fantastic. The bar tender mixed special request drinks and did a fabulous job! The waiter presented a lovely dessert (that we didn't ask for-didn't charge us for-saying "Happy birthday from me. I hope you've had a wonderful evening.") that was light and amazing in its own right. Our service was impeccable! It is notable that all of the staff truly seem happy to be there and enjoy one another. We enjoyed the Twins game and drinks at the bar before our table was ready. Our booth was comfortable and the noise from the restaurant was at a level at which we could have a conversation without the need to raise our voices. The service was great, and the food was delicious. We enjoyed appetizers, miso soup, and sushi for our main course. For desert it was molten lava chocolate cake and bananas foster. We had a booth in the Sushi ultra lounge. It was a great atmosphere. The staff were wonderful, welcoming and professional. The manager, Noah, brought over a free shot. Mike, our server, was great. He was knowledgeable and on the ball. All the food was awesome and certainly lived up to the cost. I the reviews were good, but the restaurant exceeded our expectations and we will definately go back. The service was friendly, professional and well-paced. We never felt rushed, but everything was there on time. We selected the steak and walleye and both were well prepared and very tastey. The white wine mussels and ceasar salad starters were high qaulity and nicely presented. Vegetables were done just right. One of the steaks was slightly undercooked and Brent went the extra mile to make it right for us. The appetizers are on the small side, which is good, so you can leave room for your entree. I made reservations and management called prior to the date to confirm everything and see if we needed anything. The staff was wonderful!! The host was more then accommodating and treated us like family. We were seated on the steakhouse level(main floor) and spotted a local celebrity from The Voice as I pointed out to my parents Seven is one of your best bets for celebrity spotting in Minneapolis. The food was so good, everyone was in love with their sushi and seafood. I had a ribeye which was okay...but the highlight for me was the fries and Mac and Cheese. Steak choices were presented in a visual layout and described in Spanish as well as English. Since the menu was in English, any questions about the food was answered and explained with expertise.
Special garnish requests were enthusiastically met. I was never told NO.

As we sat down we were immediately greeted by a charismatic waiter who was more than happy to give us an education of steak cuts with a show of the "steak table". We got a window seat in the steakhouse so had beautiful view of downtown Minneapolis. Waiter was very knowledgeable of menu and wines offered and was very engaging. The lobster bisque had HUGE chunks of lobster and was rich and creamy. The Seven Style Filet was cooked perfectly but the sauce was a little on the too sweet side but with chunks of crab - you really can't go wrong with this. My rib eye was one of the best I've had in a long time and the hash browns were moist on the inside and crispy on the outside.
