Seven HillsOutstandingA great-little italian corner located in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in San Francisco; superior steaks and pork chops, perhaps the most notable dishes within this delicious menu, plenty of new proposals. Ranking is well deserved, and very accesible prices.5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMJust check out the reviews! We tried this place our last night in town based soley upon other's reviews and were not disappointed. Really nice food. Everything was very very good. The place is a little small (intimate) but has a nice atmosphere. We'll definitely eat here again next time we're in S.F.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMWe loved this classy littleWe loved this classy little storefront spot. The starter menu of little snacks was fun, the dinner menu large and interesting. The tables are very close together, so it's not a place for intimate conversation. Parking is also an issue in this neighborhood.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat experience at SevenGreat experience at Seven Hills, where we came to celebrate a birthday.
The stand-outs were the octopus and pork chop!
Good wine recommendation, too.

Food is AMAZING - the meatballs and the Ricotta dessert are my favorites but everything is great. I try to visit every time I come to the city, which is pretty frequently. Alex the owner is very nice and really goes out of his way to make sure your visit is perfect.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMMy friends and I enjoyed yourMy friends and I enjoyed your restaurant very much. Returning again 2 nights later because must eat there one more time before leaving San Francisco.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Italian food ever experienced!Best Italian food ever experienced! Fine attention to detail and flavors just explode in your mouth!3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful EveningWe had a wonderful dinner at Seven Hills. The service was efficient and quite friendly, even though the restaurant was packed. Once the food arrived we understood why Seven Hills is so popular. We enjoyed the Seared Polenta and Poached Egg (perfectly cooked), the Wild Mushroom Risotto, the Carbonara, and the famous Ravioli Uovo. For dessert we had the House Made Ricotta cheese and Panna Cotta. The risotto and the ravioli were particular standouts, and the ricotta dessert was very tasty. The atmosphere was quite charming as the cable car made its way up and down the street in front of the restaurant. Having eaten at most of the top-rated Italian restaurants in SF, we would rank Seven Hills with the best. Overall a terrific experience!3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMA wonderful venue and experience.A wonderful venue and experience. The service was outstanding, only to be outdone by the quality of the food. And, the value and quality of the wine list was a welcome surprise. Strongly recommend. A gem.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful wonderful. BestWonderful wonderful. Best original pastas ever! If I lived in S F I would eat there every night!3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is a small welcomingThis is a small welcoming place...begins with small "bites" like olives and parmesan crisps to much on with a prosecco or peach bellini.
The menu is split into categories and the pasta dishes can be ordered in half or full portions. We had the raviolini with ricotta, lemon zest and basil, and the butternut squash tortellini: both were exquisite! The fish main dish was flalless and delicious. As I told the maitre d', if I lived in SF, I'd be at Seven Hills at least once a week! Easy access from Mason-Hyde cable car.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMA very unique Italian dinningA very unique Italian dinning experience and I would highly recommend it. You must try their signature ravioli dish.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMI was in town for 8-days andI was in town for 8-days and went to Seven Hills twice. The first dining experience was so delicious that I returned with different people. It is a small restaurant with a lot reservations, but worth the wait.3/12/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellenet findThanks zagats for the review becuase this place was excelleent. Flew in during the morning and wanted great food and service. This place provided it. parking is very tough so try to take a cab if not go to the supermarket two blocks down pay $10 to park3/8/2013 12:00:00 AMSmall and intimate and oneSmall and intimate and one is actually able to hold a conversation without yelling! And the food was wonderful - crab appetizer with a jellied topping was different but tasty.
Shared the pork chop which was delicious. And Panna Cota for dessert was perfect. Very nice wine offerings as well. Will definitely return when we visit SF!3/6/2013 12:00:00 AMIt's quintessential neighborhoodIt's quintessential neighborhood restaurant, and it is punching way above its weight. The food is world class. Raviolo is a must. Pork chop is one of the best in the city. Service, thanks to co-owner Alex, is great. The price/quality ratio is in top 1%. Only one drawback, and only for us in the hood, - it became too famous.3/5/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious Food, Great ServiceFabulous! From the moment we walked in we were greated courteously and quickly sat down even though we were early. Our server was knowledgeable and recomended choices on the menu. The food unbeliavably delicious. We were started of with the amuse bouche mmmm yummy. I got the special of the house Raviolo Uovo, and after it all dissapeared wanted at least five more. Our main courses the Pork for my husband and the daily special butter fish for me were just right with a balance of flavors. I have never had a panna cotta like I did here and it was to die for a creamy crust, suttle hints of vanilla. If the above is an indication, we'll definetly be back.2/20/2013 12:00:00 AM
