  • "7 Glaciers is Awesome. What an amazing restaurant and a perfect jewel for southcentral Alaska. Can't wait until the next visit!"

  • "The view from Seven Glaciers was gorgeous and the food was even better than that. Nicholas and the server team were truly attentive and helpful. A true 5 star dining experience that is a wonderful treat for the eyes and the palate!"

  • "Had a great experience with both excellent food and service. Little cloudy but the view was still fantastic. Met all of our expectations."

  • "Dinner at Seven Glaciers was exquisite!! Service was excellent and each course perfectly delicious!! Beautiful blend of flavors!"

  • "First, the food was outstanding. My husband is not a big fan of salmon, but as it was our last night in AK he got the salmon and really loved it. It was simply grilled but so moist and tasty. He also got the scallop bisque which was smooth as silk. I got the special 5 course deal featuring halibut, salmon & filet mignon. It was expensive, but on par with the other nice restaurants we went to in AK. Our server was great and any server going by with a water pitcher checked on us & filled our glasses. My only downside was our table was in front of a large open window with full on sun for about an hour, so I had to shift and wear my baseball cap for shade. Be sure and bring your sunglasses! And your camera...it is surrounded by beauty!"

  • "Great food, excellent views of the mountains, wonderful service. When making a reservation, we requested a table with the view and our request was fulfilled. Also you get a free tram ride if you have dinner at the restaurant (usually $25/adult). It was an amazing experience!"

  • "Rather than spending a fortune for good, but not exquisite food, I would recommend trying 7 Glaciers for the bar. Not sure about bar prices, but the view from the bar is gorgeous, and the food and service were not top notch on the evening we recently had dinner there."

  • "In honor of our 20th wedding anniversary, we dined here during our Alaska vacation. The service was top-notch (thanks to Nicholas and the rest of the service team), and the food was phenomenally good. The salmon crudo appetizer had a great, delicate flavor; the Wagyu steak was perfectly cooked (and its sides of bacon-wrapped grilled asparagus & horseradish-seasoned potatoes were a perfect complement); the catch of the day was black cod - very nicely seasoned and also delicious. We got the King Crab legs as a side, which were tasty, too. The Baked Alyeska dessert was just the right finish to an excellent, romantic dinner."

  • "We were seated at a window table that had a great view of the mountains and the resort. I was able to make reservations the day of. We had to wait awhile after our reservation time for our table but the hostesses were very appreciative of our patience and offered to seat us at the bar in the meantime. After tasting the complimentary truffle, I was excited for the rest of our food to arrive. The potato bread and butter were delicious. Our waitress, Taylor, was very attentive and seemed to genuinely enjoy her job. I had the halibut, which was the best halibut I've had. My husband had the Wagyu steak with bacon wrapped asparagus and he finished every bite. We also split a side of risotto and it was amazing. We will definitely be back."

  • "This restaurant is one of the finist in the Anchorage/Girdwood area of Alaska. The glaciers provide a stunning backdrop for the diner. The food was outstanding, featuring fresh seafood and Wagyu beef. The service was extraordinary, altho the wine steward was a bit self impressed. All in all a extraordinary dining experience. The restaurant is highly recommended"

  • "Food was good, really good selection of wine. everyone was friendly. view was great but wished there would have been somewhere inside where you could take pictures that you weren't right next to someones table who was eating."

  • "Service was excellent. Food was beautiful and delicious. This would be a great restaurant without the view, but the view is what makes it worth the visit. Mountains, glaciers, a tram ride to add a touch of adventure. I did bring my three relatively well behaved children. Staff was phenomenal and the children's menu was excellent, I would not recommend this as a place to bring your children except as a very special treat and your kids can handle fine dining. Business dinners, anniversaries, birthdays, fancy dates, Seven Glaciers is not just excellent food but an experience to remember and treasure."

  • "As we have traveled to Alaska a number of times, we chose to stay at Alyeskaresort, and enjoy dinner at the famed seven glaciers. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Although the overall food experience was a bit lacking. We have enjoyed halibut ceviche in Alaska and also have prepared it ourselves. I would not recommend this appetizer. Way too sloppy, and harsh on the citrus. The king crab as a side dish was well presented and prepared. And the fish of the day, was good, though a bit dry. The halibut was perfect. If not for the outstanding reputation and view, I don't believe we would have enjoyed dinner and the prices as much."

  • "AMAZING! Great experience! You should try the Halibut tataki!"

  • "I highly recommend this restaurant for dinner. The view was fantastic coming up the tram as my wife. The dinner reservations for our one year anniversary celebration were simple to place. The food was phenomenal! I ordered the fish of the day, which was rockfish. I have never had rockfish before, and it was phenomenal. I especially enjoyed the bed of tiny "German dumplings" (as the server called them) on which it was served. My wife had the beef filet which was served with some tasty veggies and a red wine sauce which was to die for. My wife commented that it was quite tender and was probably the best steak she has ever had. To finish the night off the Seven Glaciers purchased one of our desserts in honor of our anniversary."

  • "The food was bland and certainly not 5 star. The service was attentive however they were inflexible with requests. I asked for blue cheese dressing on my salad but they refused saying the chef prepared it for vinegrette. If I wanted blue cheese dressing I had to order the salad that the chef made to go with blue cheese dressing. Sadly the salad was basically lettuce with vinegrette which just okay. The fish was $40 however it was bland and had little flavor. The crab cake appetizer for $17 was dry and had little flavor. I don't mind paying for a great meal however this was anything but a great meal. If you want to enjoy the view book the tram for lunch and skip the dinner. It is overpriced even with the free tram ride."

  • "The Seven Glaciers is the epitome of fine Alaska Dining. The food was excellent, the wine was perfect and the service was outstanding. I couldn't as for a better experience. They have certainly earned every award on the wall."

  • "I knew the view would be spectacular (and it was); however, so many people said the food was good to the point that I thought "uh-oh, tourist trap"—but it wasn't!! This is big city food in a remote location :-) We had halibut ceviche with a coconut, cilantro concoction—most interesting ceviche I've ever had, fantastic! The bisque is not to be missed! The crabcakes were perfection. We had seasonal fish (scallops) and were thrilled. The wine selection (even by the glass) is terrific. My only disappointment was no tasting menu as I wanted to experience every flavor this place could manage since it all hit the same heights of these giant double-black-diamond mountains! We ate very well in Alaska, but hands down this was tops!"

  • "Small menu but everything was exceptional, especially the seafood. Liked it so much we went back the second night of our two night stay."

  • "I have hiked up several times over the years, changed into nice clothes and had wine or beer with appetizers, and rode the gondola down. That's a great thing to do, and I will return. Dinner is too expensive and the servings skimpy, however. I won't recommend to friends for dinner, but will continue to recommend to hikers as a fun thing to do. Next time, after the hike, wine, and appetizer, I will ride the gondola down and go to Jack Sprat. Food is better there, better variety, helpings larger, etc. etc. etc."

  • "As a destination special event, this is a great choice. The views are amazing, especially on a nice day. Alaskan oysters are a must, and they had some from Prince William Sound. Service was excellent and everyone in the room seemed happy to be there."

  • "If you do not order alcohol you get ignored. My rock fish was very good. My husband's halibut dish was salty."

  • "My husband and I ate at Seven Glaciers while on a trip through Alaska for our 25th wedding anniversary. The whole experience was amazing! From the tram ride up to the ambience of the restaurant to the incredible views to the meal itself, it was the best dining experience we've ever had. My husband had the wagyu beef and it was the best we've ever tasted! I would also highly recommend pairing your food with their suggested wine and having dessert. I hope we come back to Alaska just to eat at Seven Glaciers again!"

  • "Food was very good, service was excellent, but the best is the location and the view. Great for special occasions of the romantic type. A bit expensive."

  • "Food did not meet expectations, it was fine, but I expected amazing. You can have a better meal at Crow's Nest. Especially for the price. View from the bar is spectacular, would have been better to just enjoy a cocktail at the bar."

  • "Wonderful view, excellent service, friendly staff, delicious food. Great experience."

  • "We had a beautiful day to have dinner at Seven Glacier restaurant and were promptly seated at the time of our reservation. Our server welcomed us and explained he would be taking excellent care of us. We waited 10-15 minutes between courses and were not asked how our food was and felt they were short staffed since our server was busy with many tables. At this level of restaurant and expense this is totally unacceptable. Our server quoted us a cost for a special meal and when it was a different price on our bill, he acted offended that we questioned it and also acted upset that we wanted the bill divided between two couples when we made it clear we wanted two bills. We left feeling a special occasion was not that special."

  • "This is the best place in 6000 miles. We have been traveling for 20 days and Seven Glaciers tops the list. The ride to the restaurant was unbelievable, two thousand feet up in a gondola car. The food and service was 5 star. We hope to return again one day."
    Dined on 6/18/2014
  • "Everything was awesome! Food and wine reasonably priced for the quality and personalized service provided. And the fact the restaurant is situated in the mountain and only accessible by tram, just adds to the magnificent dining experience!"
    Dined on 6/18/2014
  • "We decided to have dinner at Seven Glaciers because we had heard the food and view could not be beat. Everyone was correct! Albeit a little pricey but you get what you pay for in every sense (especially since the tram ride up to the restaurant is free with reservations). The service was fantastic and the manager was active in nearly everyone's service around us making sure we were all getting the experience and fine dinning we expected. The food was fantastic. Our group ordered the Halibut, Salmon, and Tenderloin steak and they were were cooked to perfection, and the deserts were devine with beautiful presentations as well. We were a group of six and not one of us could find a single fault in this restaurants service, food, or atmosphere."

  • "Seven Glaciers is our favorite place to take visitors to eat. The restaurant has it all- stunning view, 5 star service, outstanding food! They never disappoint! Our friends and family from Singapore and Iowa were truly impressed. Thanks!"

  • "Everything about our meal was truly exceptional but for the service. I normally expect disappointing food at resort restaurants like this where the view is so amazing they will always have plenty of business. But this is one of the few view restaurants where the food equals or even surpasses the view. One of the best meals I have had anywhere - high quality of food, preparation, creativity. Very good wine list. Only minor downside was that service was a little slow and our waiter seemed disinterested."
    Dined on 6/14/2014
  • "Even on an overcast, drizzly June day, we knew that we were Somewhere Special. The wine list is spectacular, especially if price is no object. Innovative appetizers, wonderful mains, divine desserts, especially the clever, dark chocolate "Baked Alyeska". We also loved the chocolate/coconut semifreddo."

  • "Seven Glaciers had an excellent wine selection with food to match the view. Whether you’re watching the tide ebb and flow in Turnagian Arm or the swift moving clouds mask and revile the glaciers, this restaurant should be on the top of your list. The food is excellent and the wait staff is top notch. From Dubai to New York to California I put this restaurant as analogous to its location…on top."
