  • "We celebrated our daughter's 16th birthday here. The atmosphere was posh but not pretentious. The service was welcoming, friendly, and attentive and the food was excellent for our family of five with teenagers and 20 somethings. We were there for Thursday Steak Frites night so the prices were very reasonable for Grand Cayman standards. We ordered a variety of the steak cuts which were all enjoyed. The favorite at our table was the least costly skirt steak cut. The flavor of the steak combined with the Bearnaise sauce was delicious. Dessert was served with a special birthday message on the plate in chocolate. A good choice for our celebration dinner."

As anticipated all 5 of us were thrilled at the amazing food (shrimp cocktail, crab legs, baked fish, 3 types of caviar, sliced ham and roast sirloin steak, lobster pasta, and wonderful croissant and desserts that melt in your mouth!). And to top it all off - we enjoyed unlimited Taittinger Champagne - with ocean view."

  • "We dined at Seven our first night on Seven Mile Beach. It was everything you would expect at the Ritz. We had a hard time selecting what we wanted to order since the options all seemed wonderful so our family of five ordered an assortment so we could all sample from the various offerings. We all really everything, but the lobster/pumpkin soup was especially good. The bread was addictive. The fillets were a little small, and they were a little slow coming to the table. The best dessert was the lemon meringue. Our server was very friendly and enthusiastic. We could not believe this wasn't rated the top restaurant on Seven Mile Beach. If you are looking for truly fine dining in a beautiful setting, this would be the place."

  • "Our party of 7 had dinner here a week ago. The outdoor setting is beautiful with the fountain, the ocean, and the setting sun. The food however is not worth the price. This was our most expensive meal on the island and the least enjoyed. The Caesar salad was overpowered by anchovies and far too much dressing. The shrimp cocktail was terrible, fish overcooked, and steak fatty. The bill took several attempts to be correct. Will not be returning as there are many other great restaurants on the island."

  • "This was one of the more expensive restaurants we visited during our stay in Grand Cayman. The food was delicious however, I would have changed my order had I known this before. First off, our mains were AMAZING! I had the seared red snapper and my husband had the 10oz steak. Our appetizer and dessert were not to par. The shrimp cocktail were five small shrimp with a runny cocktail sauce (not so appealing, especially for the cost). My lobster bisque was good but again wasn't anything to write home about. The dessert we ordered was a pecan pie and again we weren't that impressed. We have eaten at some of the best restaurants and my expectation was higher for Seven. I would go back but caution the apps and dessert selections."

  • "How can brunch be bad when it starts with a glass of Taittinger and the Taittinger keeps flowing throughout the meal? The key to a good upscale buffet brunch is to have a wide variety of high quality choices to satisfy any type of craving and Seven had it. There were so many interesting things available that I didn't even try any of the hot dishes. Like everything at the Ritz Carlton brunch is expensive but if you can accept spending that kind of money for a midday meal and treat it as your main meal of the day, it is well worth it."

  • "I went there as a solo diner for Sunday brunch. The food was outstanding, and not your typical waffles and eggs and hash browns fare. Much less breakfast-oriented although I saw people who had ordered eggs. Strong seafood station and what looked to be a solid caviar station (I'm not knowledgeable about the brands). Reasonable upcharge for unlimited Tattinger and bloody marys. Only downside was CI$10 extra for a liter of San Pelligrino. Décor was very beige with leather covered tables. Service was very good, the entire seating was pre-blocked, and as a single diner they put me next to a window and took the second chair away before I arrived. Valet parking. Would return next vacation."

  • "food was excellent, if not over priced. big complaint was the wait for our table (we had reservations), but had to wait for 2 other couples to arrive and get seated before we got seated. We got seated in a table that the other 2 couples had turned down. We would have had to wait even longer to get a regular table. food took awhile. appetizer came out quickly, then we had a long wait for our main course."

  • "I wish they did this full champagne brunch at more hotels. I've only ever had it in Singapore so I was thrilled to see they did it here too. An absolute bargain for a huge selection of Ritz food and free flowing Taittinger Champagne. I'd go every week if i lived there. YUM!"
