We really enjoyed the casual but elegant atmosphere. The waitstaff is very friendly. We thought the menu was perfect. The chef had a good variety to choose from but just enough to not be overwhelming. The dishes have been perfected and are delicious! It is BYOB so don't forget your wine! If you do, the waitstaff told us about a wine shop around the corner. We had a very enjoyable evening with friends and were not rushed at all. The way it should be! The food has always been excellent. Cooked perfectly every time. The service is attentive but never overbearing. The location is very convenient as it is in the center of B-ville. So if you want to go for a drink, there are plenty of options. Our table was right by the window, with the curtain entrance to the kitchen nearby. Not what I would have chosen, but also not a disaster. I think the restaurant also has a seating area in the back, but I didn't see that as we were in the front entrance part. Service was good, not outstanding. BUT: the food is DELICIOUS! My husband eats out a lot for work & has high expectations and he (& I) were very impressed with all our courses. Absolutely fantastic. And it's a BYOB, so that's always a bonus in terms of cost. The dishes my wife and I selected were all amazing... well cooked and full of flavor. No big portions here, but we still left feeling full. Its rare we get dessert, but since this was a special night out we tried the sorbet and some lemon pastry. Yum.

The food is consistently delicious, the staff is friendly & attentive, and the ambience is elegant. We have been "regulars" because it is never a disappointment. The owner/executive chef is creative and very talented. He walks through the restaurant on most evenings to meet and greet. We love to try new restaurants but we are always grateful to have Sette available to us. When I last visited I tried a special that was cod fish cooked in white wine, with a hint of anchovy and a chunky chopped tomato sauce. The fish was very fresh and the dish was a real winner. The food was freshly prepared from the complementary bruschetta to the creme Brûlée dessert. My onion tart appetizer was savory and my Cod entree fresh and flavorful. The table was a little tight for 4 but it gave us the opportunity to share and enjoy each others selections. I wanted to avoid too much bread but the delicious, warm rolls and herbed olive oil made that impossible.
