Our Session Bar is the perfect place to host a cocktail party for up to 15 guests. On our mezzanine level, both the Back Bowl Bar and Dining Room are available for an intimate evening or a wild good time accommodating groups between 20 and 100 guests. The Back Bowl is also equipped with two large flat screen monitors to accommodate the needs of those who would like to give business presentations, present slideshows, or just watch the game.

  • "Everything we are was delicious, we went as a group of 5 so tried and enjoyed all of these: charcuterie board, fried green tomatoes, cornbread with Brie, pork belly and watermelon as starters. We also loved the lamb entree (but very rich), the chicken was juicy; the salmon was delish but the real surprise was eggplant waffles. Everyone must get these! It's a great balance of textures as well as sweet, salty, tart... The place is casual/cute, good music permeates the place but it is not noisy"

  • "Very interesting menu, interesting and unique take on many traditional brunch dishes. Very good service. In the midst of the sunday farmers market, it can be a bit noisy. Worst offenders tho were fellow diners who tied their puppy to the railing and let him bark. Overall a very good experience. Will definitely return."

  • "I have eaten at Session Kitchen, several times. Twice for Brunch and the rest for dinner. I always found that the menu had strange combinations and that the food was entirely too heavy. We visited the restaurant on Wednesday and found new items that were more on the lighter side. The food was delicious, and the service was great. Try this restaurant again if you were not sure of it in the past."

  • "I enjoyed my visit to Session Kitchen. I was originally seated upstairs and thought it was a little dark for summer. We were re-seated downstairs and the atmosphere was much lighter. Booths sit low. Food was good. A little pricey for items. Loved the Kale Heart dish! Service was great, host was great, and wine was good too! Great spot for social occasions and dates! Will return to check out happy hour specials."

  • "Pros: Great service!!! Order the pork belly/watermelon small plate! Entrees were delicious (lamb collar, duck toast and eggplant waffles). Good recommendations from staff. Very attentive. Cons: we had a reservation. When we arrived, they walked us through an empty restaurant to the back, dark, far away upstairs... We felt like they were embarrassed of us! We should have asked to sit in a nicer booth. Do not order the stuffed avocado...you can make this at home and it's bland. Also the tuna steak was over cooked."

  • "I went for brunch last weekend. I had Eggs Benedict with Tasso ham on crumpets. Delish - they make everything in house. My friend had a biscuit with house made jam, and scrambled eggs. We both had a marvelous cocktail with bourbon and blackberries. The whole menu looked great, so I plan to return soon. Our server was well versed in the menu and took good care of us. Our busboy made sure our water glasses were refilled - something that you don't notice unless it's not happening, so I appreciated his efforts. We ate on the patio, even though it was 95 degrees and it was still pleasant. The decor has a unique vibe - don't forget to check out the lighting over the bar."

  • "Our second visit to Session Kitchen was for our anniversary. The menu changes, so what we had might not make it on your menu, but so far everything we've tried has been stellar. I recommend any sort of appetizer they have containing pork belly -- the first time, it was pork and pinapple skewers; the second time it was pork and watermelon. I wish I had the kind of palate that would predict pork, watermelon, and basil would make a good combo -- fortunately the chef does! If this has taught me anything, it's that you can safely venture out of your comfort zone at Session."

The food was fairly creative and generally good (though the gnocchi did not impress anyone in our group), but the service left a lot to be desired. It was not crowded in the restaurant but felt like the waitress was difficult to find and not terribly attentive. After ordering the first bottle of wine, she came back 10 minutes later to tell us they no longer carried it or were out, same goes for the appetizer we tried to order (didn't tell us up front they were out, only mentioned they were out after we had combed the menu and decided what to order) then forgot one person's entree when delivering the rest. Disappointing service esp. considering the price point."

  • "Session Kitchen has delivered on our expectations twice now on taste and selections!We really enjoyed the food combinations (scallops & ramp starter, chicken liver mousse w/raspberry sauce to mention two), wine pairings and the eclectic atmosphere for our anniversary. Although our server was knowledgeable and attentive, when present, it felt like he had too many tables to serve us properly. We waited for our first glass of wine for quite some time after being seated/ordering. Our 2nd glass of wine ordered for main course and salad arrived when we were half done. On a Saturday night, the place looked almost full. Yet, for the prices, we'd expect attention to detail like wine timing to be just right. Complimentary dessert was a nice touch."

  • "I enjoyed my first trip to Sessions - though lack of signage made it a little hard to find. Love the garage style doors that bring the outdoors in and the style of the decorating inside. Good service, interesting food. We had small plates and they were good, especially the scallops. Wine was pricey at $15 per glass. A bit more expensive than we were expecting, but they kindly "comped" us on the fried peppers which were very,very hot. Still, for 2 drinks each and two small plates, we spent $120 with tip. I'll be back for sure."
