Our Session Bar is the perfect place to host a cocktail party for up to 15 guests. On our mezzanine level, both the Back Bowl Bar and Dining Room are available for an intimate evening or a wild good time accommodating groups between 20 and 100 guests. The Back Bowl is also equipped with two large flat screen monitors to accommodate the needs of those who would like to give business presentations, present slideshows, or just watch the game.

We arrived before happy hour to order a few things off happy hour first... well we got the drink orders in and by the time we came back it was 601 and he said we could not still order on happy hour... 1 min over but took 10 min to get our drinks... 9 actually!! WOW. So we thought it was the waiter but then noticed that there were 3 bar tenders in a non crowded restaurant that was taking 10 min to pour a tequila on the rocks ....WHAT!! It was weird because we had problems with the drinks all night!! The last time we came the restaurant was packed and not so many issues. ANyway, our food was good , steak, scallops, burger, and artichoke app and brisquet bun app i would recommend ."

  • "We went to Session Kitchen on a Monday evening, but the restaurant was still quite lively. The drinks menu was very intriguing, as was the food menu. We ordered the brie cornbread and pork belly kabobs to start. They were both very tasty, especially the slaw that accompanied the cornbread. We followed those with the flatiron steak and the griddled kale hearts. My husband thought the steak was good, but on the small side given the price. I had the kale hearts and thought they were fantastic! The kale was punctuated with salty hits from the pancetta and sweet/sour notes from the pickled shallots and peppers. For desserts, we tried the cronuts - a nice sweet ending to a good meal. Our server was friendly enough, but slightly uninvolved."

We were there for the birthday of our 18 year old niece, she was treated like a princess, the bartender created a special virgin cocktail for her and she was really loved it. The piece de resistance were the birthday cronuts, a mix of light croissant dough and doughnut sweetness with dip sauces made in heaven. Loved our experience there will be back for sure."

  • "For our entrees, my wife had a steak that was unevenly cooked and fairly bland accompanied by some fries that were mediocre at best. I had a striped bass that had no flavor at all. It was overpowered by a lemon risotto that was too rich given the amount served. Overall, two very disappointing entrees, but it was especially disappointing that our server never once asked us how our meal was. He recommended a glass of wine to my wife and never bothered to ask how it was. It wasn't very good. He apparently wasn't concerned about the barely eaten entrees as he never bothered to inquire how the food tasted and simply brought the check. Very disappointing."

  • "At the beginning, we sat at our table virtually ignored for awhile. People seated after us got their drinks before ours. Our waitress was all over the restaurant...obviously covering for party tables with dedicated staff. I let the hostess know we were being ignored...that our waitress was, perhaps, covering for other wait staff. They immediately let the management know, apologized and brought us 2 free drinks. Thereafter, our waitress was attentive, chatty and very pleasant. The food was excellent and we were appreciative that our request for more attention was immediately addressed. We'll definitely be back with friends."

  • "This was our first time dining at Session after learning about it as a top new restaurant in 5280 magazine. We enjoyed the bbq brisket buns small plate, the kale salad and chicken confitt and noodles. Ross, our server, paired with a grenache syrah blend that worked well. We had the oatmeal cream pie as dessert to celebrate my wife's birthday and my compliments to the pastry chef for that gem. Great overall experience."

  • "Not a ton of gluten free choices, which are important to me, and they are a little too focused on heavy meat dishes, but overall I enjoyed the ambiance, the service, and I was able to pull a few tasty and healthy nuggets from the menu. The pork belly kebabs are very much not healthy, but they are damn tasty!"

  • "I had heard good things about Sessions, so we gave it try on a cold, snowy Sunday night. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived at 7. We had reservations, but were seated at a not-so-great table - a two top in the middle of the front dining area. Considering that the restaurant was quite empty, I was surprised that we weren't given a better, larger, more private table. Service was very slow - 10 minutes before the waitress showed up for our drink order. Drinks took a while, although I did order one of their specialty drinks which might take longer. The dining room was quite cold - we kept our coats on throughout dinner. The food was good - we had the mussels, butter leaf salad and trout."

  • "We did not find this restaurant to be a good dining experience. Our table was awful stuck behind the curtains for the patio enclosure. The server was not very attentive. It took quite a while just to get our drinks. We specifically made this reservation for a chance to try the menu and since it was restaurant week, we thought this would be a good opportunity. Their restaurant week menu was soup and sandwich claiming they did not have time/resources to prepare for restaurant week. I do not understand this at all since restuarant week had been scheduled for quite some time. The food was ok but nothing jumped out and said "WOW" at all. Lamb was good, not outstanding. Perogies same. Probaby will not go back."

  • "We sat down, the waitress didn't come to our table for 20 min. The drink order took forever to arrive. The waitress never even explained the menu and how to order. Once she finally did, after asking, she wasn't even sure herself. The food finally came and everything was subpar. My friend had to send her tuna salad back because it was lukewarm...gross. I loved the atmosphere but I wouldn't eat here again. Maybe, maybe drinks only and sit at the bar for quicker service."

The server was delightful. Food was tasty & eye pleasing. Did I mention plentiful. The manager come by several times to check up on our experience. Really couldn't ask for more. Will certainly bring friends & family here. A wonderful dinner."

  • "Beautiful interior, artful and exciting, visually. Unfortunately, at the back of the house is the chef who is more preoccupied with impressing the patrons, than with pleasuring the patrons. The food is pleasant looking, but a confusing mess on the tastebuds. None of the dishes POP with flavor, and most of the dishes are confused between savory or sweet. The chef lacks conviction. The food lacks direction. Hopefully this chef can learn restraint, flavor and texture. Until he does, this beautiful looking restaurant is a food disaster."
