I booked this place because I like art. Not only was there many great pieces of art throughout the entire restaurant, but the food and drinks were also works of art. The service was great and the food was amazing. Great place for a date.

This was my first time at Session Kitchen. I didn't know what to expect and I was delighted. The atmosphere is inviting and though energetic not so loud that we couldn't have conversation. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. The food was superb. I highly recommend the roasted chicken with dumplings. It was delicious, and even better the next day.

I met three friends at Sessions Kitchen. None of us had ever been there before. All three of us ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes and we all loved them. My one friend commented multiple times about how great she thought they were. We were seated in a pleasant location near the front of the restaurant by the window where we could watch the Farmers Market wrapping up which was fun. The service was excellent.

We went for our son's 23rd birthday and had a very favorable experience. The waiter was attentive and knowledgeable of the food and preparation. The small plates were all very good and sizeable. We tried the steak, chicken and salmon all of which were very good and prepared exactly as described. The presentations were most appealing. We will definitely return.

Second time here. Hit or miss on the menu. Had a couple of good apps but the entrees were Applebees quality at best. Won't go back. Would be a good value at half the.price. For the same money you could visit Potager or Table 6 and have a far better dining experience.

This is quickly becoming our favorite brunch spot, especially to take our out of town guests. We have been twice now during the Sunday farmer's market and the entire ambiance of great, open-air brunch and then strolling through the market is perfect. We definitely recommend Session Kitchen to anyone looking for a great brunch and now we need to try it for dinner!

We took my son (who works in a restaurant) and his new girlfriend (who is a vegetarian) out for a nice dinner to get to know each other. We had 4 great meals and 4 unusual cocktails served up by the witty waitstaff and bartender. Seasonal food selections made it easy for us to choose with our eclectic tastes. Funky, edgy art on the walls and ceilings rounded out the ambience of a really comfortable place. This urbane, unpretentious restaurant delivered on all accounts.

anxious to try but left a bit perplexed. cocktails were nice. "sessions" were okay but overwhelmingly sweet. chicken mousse drenched in apricot preserves was not visually appealing, and uncertain how to eat on a Belgium waffle. eggplant waffles were nice but again drenched in syrup. special was tasty, tuna croquettes with chicken fried avocado. gnocchi with pancetta so-so, again felt like a dinner collided with breakfast. foodie here so up for an adventure but this adventure left me really confused. upstairs dining experience lacks any personality compared to the main level which, in contrast, is over designed.

This was my first visit to Session Kitchen. The inside of the restaurant is phenomenal.. so different than any other place I have been to. The hostess was very kind and we had our choice of table. The bus boy was kind of a jerk, but hey - he's a bus boy. Our server was incredibly kind and she visited us often. Hands down best cocktails I have had in Denver thus far. We ordered the fried green tomatoes, the flat iron steak, and the chicken with cornbread. Basically licked our plates clean. The manager came up and spoke with us a couple of times and brought us our food. He was AWESOME. I highly recommend this place. Wahoo!

Menu is interesting. Decor is unique. Food was variable. Most dishes were at least good, but some dishes were creative, unique and excellent. Waiter was very knowledgeable, friendly and gave us just the right amount of attention so to be responsive but not overbearing. Mixed drinks were creative and fun. Wine list is very small and choices we tried were unimpressive. I would not classify this as a foodie restaurant, mainly because of wine choices, but definitely a fun unique place that I would recommend to friends.

Great lighting and a fun room, with good food and drinks, makes for a fun experience on Pearl Street. The only problem I had was with the service, which alternated between too fast (clearing appetizers before it was clear we were done) and too slow (disappearing after dinner was done and not bringing the check, with the excuse, "well, you two seemed to be having a nice time chatting, I didn't want to interrupt." But the restaurant itself is excellent.

Everything we are was delicious, we went as a group of 5 so tried and enjoyed all of these: charcuterie board, fried green tomatoes, cornbread with Brie, pork belly and watermelon as starters. We also loved the lamb entree (but very rich), the chicken was juicy; the salmon was delish but the real surprise was eggplant waffles. Everyone must get these! It's a great balance of textures as well as sweet, salty, tart... The place is casual/cute, good music permeates the place but it is not noisy

Very interesting menu, interesting and unique take on many traditional brunch dishes. Very good service. In the midst of the sunday farmers market, it can be a bit noisy. I have eaten at Session Kitchen, several times. Twice for Brunch and the rest for dinner. I always found that the menu had strange combinations and that the food was entirely too heavy.
