SerpasBrunch Brunch & more BrunchI had brunch there for my bridal party. Everyone found something on the menu that was a pleaser. The Lemongrass Crab Fritters are addictive! I could eat a whole plate. Great place for unique and tasty brunch items. I would go back again and again and again.6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMSolid Pick...Noise level is high and to be expected due to the industrial feel. Food was well executed & tasty...Recommend the Pork Chop or the the Duck..both were equally delicious. You must NOT pass on the warm, melt in your mouth bengiets.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place to be a regularThis was my second visit to Serpas. I sat at the bar in full view of the kitchen. Flawless execution by the Kitchen Floor manager. The food presentation was very nice, movement by the staff was good. The food taste good and look good. The staff were not overly attentive to the point of being bothersome, just right on point. My favorite appetizer, fried oysters. My favorite desserts, chocolate nutella cake and beignets w/ strawberry pudding, um, um, good. I love this place.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMBusiness BrunchThe area is up and coming, free valet parking, nice clean interior. Food was awesome we had bengiets, pigs and a blanket and i had the creole omelette. Will definitely come back soon.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMSPECTACULAR Dining Experience!!Had the most amazing dining experience to date when I went to ATL to meet my daughter, her boyfriend, and her twin sister for a weekend. I cannot begin to describe the "experience" I had when I took a bite of the "pigs in a blanket"-not to be missed. Then, for the main course, I had the seared snapper-UNBELIEVABLE-another had the trout, stuffed chicken, and scallops-all two thumbs up in approval. I depended on our server, I believe his name was Beachers? Definitely worth asking for his service-undeniably the most attentive and knowledgable I have ever encountered in my foodie trek...his recommendation of the tomato tart was definitely a winner!!! Thank you for a wonderful and memorable evening!6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMBest service in Atlanta!I've been to most of the new restaurants in the city and Serpas exceeded all of my expectations! The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. It's such a friendly and warm atmosphere!5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome as usual! This is my fifth or sixth visit to Serpas and as usual the food and ambience was fabulous!! This was my second time having brunch and the creole omelette was amazing! A couple of my friends had the shrimp and scallops with grits and they were extremely pleased. We also shared an order of the beignets and they will change your life! They are better than Cafe Dumond in New Orleans! I can't wait to go back!5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMgreat meal from start to finishWe started the evening with a cocktail called Church Lady. It's my new favorite drink! My veal porterhouse was cooked perfectly!5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMAtl's best! The food was great, the ambiance was great, we love it. We love the calamari & oyster appetizers, trout and pork chops. It is one of the best restaurants in Atlanta.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMONe of our very favoritesONe of our very favorites in Atlanta! Never disappointed,5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulous mother's day brunchWhat a find! Every single item we ordered was fantastic. HIghly recommend and hope to be able to get back there soon to try out for dinner.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMthis was our second time atthis was our second time at Serpas and we loved the food - fresh and innovative. our server was skilled5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat a way to spend a SundayOn a whim, we decided to drive 1 hour from Gainesville to Atlanta for Sunday Brunch. What started out to be a dreary rainy day, turned into a beautiful mid day with wonderful food at Serpas. It's always a treat to eat at this restaurant. I'd recommend it to anyone.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMDelish!I visited Serpas for the first time and actually fell in love! The ambiance and food were both great! We had the salmon chips and two of the cheeses as appetizers. I swear I wanted more of those salmon chips...so delish! The stuffed trout was also great, as well as the steak. And don't mention the bread pudding desert...yum yum YUM! Definitely will be a staple on my list of restaurants to visit frequently.4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was excellent. TheThe food was excellent. The service was very attentive. Would definitely go back!4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMEat but don't talkI've had a few different fish dishes at Serpas and they were all very nice. The tuna tartare app is very good. Scallops are free of grit and seasoned and cook with precision. Fish special never fails. However, the service has been lackluster at times. When pointed out to the manager, he makes up for it but it shouldn't happen as often as it does. And...well...the acoustics. It's not the fault of the servers, the kitchen or the manager - but it is hard to have a conversation. This place is great for younger groups of people who are tolerant of having to talk louder but I would not rec this for anyone with hearing issues or your grandparents.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMSerpas has been a welcomedSerpas has been a welcomed addition to the neighborhood restaurant scene ever since they opened. A great space, an eclectic cleintele, a seasonal menu, and an energetic staff all contribute to a great experinece. The tuna tartare is a must have along with the fried oysters as appetizers. I enjoyed a veal porterhouse that was cooked to perfection along with a Santa Barbara county pinot noir (a steal at $36 a bottle). These are the reasons I keep coming back. My only suggestion would be to temper the noise a bit. When it gets crowded the noise inhibits conversation.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMI'll be back....Very nice menu with a selection that met the diverse tastes of everyone in our party. Everything was perfection - the food is elegant without being pretentious or overdone. We had a combination of appetizers and entrees - mussels, brioche, fried calamari, shrimp over creamed corn, crab & cream cheese fritters, eggplant fritters and roast duck. The Lemon Bombe was our favorite dessert, though the homemade ice cream and the bread pudding were also very nice. Excellent service and comfortable atmosphere.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMMy boyfriend and I went toMy boyfriend and I went to Serpas for brunch after reading about it in Atlanta magazine. It loved up to our expectations! We ordered the beignets to start, and the creole omelet and fried oyster Benedict for our meals. They were all amazing! I would definitely recommend this place to groups or couples!4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMIt was great. It took a whileIt was great. It took a while to seat us even though we had reservations, but they were very apologetic and food was great.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Place. Make sure uGreat Place.

Overall a great dining experience.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Creole omelette is worthThe Creole omelette is worth every penny! It's stuffed with delicious shrimp and crab meat along with a little sausage and some cheese. The grits are also delicious!4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMI have experienced Chef Scott'sI have experienced Chef Scott's other restaurants and Serpas is by far his best so far. The flash fried oysters are an excellent standards I was happy to see be brought with him. The smoked salmon chips were something new that would have again and the pork chop was excellent.
The staff was friendly and attentive . I look forward to my next visit to Serpas4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMI live in Inman park and haveI live in Inman park and have been dining at Serpas since they've opened it's a comfy chic neighborhood spot that has outdoor seating which is great during this time of year. However, I remain to have great service. My waiters either forget parts of my order or they barely come back to the table to check to see if we need anything after we place our order. The service hsa made me lessen my visits as it is an annoyance especially when you really like the food and want to remain a regular. But I can never complain about the food. I reccomend going on an off night or around happy hour time to avoid the brunch crowd on Sunday's.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our first time there. This was our first time there. The Waitress was wonderful and did an awesome job of helping me decide what to order. Everything we ordered was outstanding. We went for brunch and now can't wait to return for another brunch and to try out the dinner menu. I highly recommend Serpa's.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food... Waiter couldGood food... We'll come back again for sure!3/26/2013 12:00:00 AMThe salmon chips were so veryThe salmon chips were so very good that they upstaged the entree. Such a wonderful dinning experience, just a bit loud.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMHidden Gem in O4WThird visit in the past three months and may become "Go To" place when friends/relatives come to town. The food and service are excellent. It is busy but not slammed. Even the valet parking guys are fun. All good at Serpas. We took our son and fiance this weekend for the first time. They live out of town and love good food and drink. They were quite impressed. We had the Stiped Bass, pork chop, hanger steak and venison for entres--all were excellent. Oysters and stuffed crab balls for apps were perfect and the deserts at the end topped off the perfect dinner experience. This place is a hidden gem.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMVery ImpressedAfter only one visit, my wife already know we will bring others here. Best åtlanta restaurant we've been to in a long time.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our first visit toThis was our first visit to Serpas and what a pleasant surprise! My mom and I were dining to celebrate my birthday and we asked the server for recommendations, which were spot on! We enjoyed the tuna tartar appetizer and then each of us had a "drink" which was great. We also loved the trout and scallops which were both to die for! We look forward to returning again soon.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMMy only complaint would beMy only complaint would be the COLD metal chairs. We had the fried oysters to start - OMG! They were so good! Next was Venison for me and sea bass for my date. Both were mild and delicious. Beniets (sp?) for dessert were wonderful!3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMFood always pleases, valetFood always pleases, valet gives great service...always a great experience!3/17/2013 12:00:00 AM-Came with out-of-state friends-Came with out-of-state friends for evening of dining. The food was stellar, and the waitress, fantastic. All of us ordered something different. All arrived to the table perfectly cooked and nicely presented. We intended to eat our own meals but ended up sharing bites as well because everything was so delicious. Each dish was nicely balanced, and the flavors melded well. Apps and desserts were delicious, too - and our waitress deserves a gold star. She was extremely patient and helpful while we made slow decisions, and she was completely accommodating with all questions and requests. She perfectly balanced serving the table and keeping things moving with being a kind hostess. Kudos to her and the entire staff!3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMI've been to Serpas so manyI've been to Serpas so many times I can hardly count them. I am always pleased. Chef Scott is awesome! Absolutely love that this gem is in Old 4th Ward.3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMThoroughly enjoyed our dinner.Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Fresh salads, perfectly cooked fish and scallops! Even the coffee was excellent. Good service. We went on a Tuesday so it wasn't overcrowded or noisy.3/12/2013 12:00:00 AMI reserved a table for twoI reserved a table for two at Serpas for our 16 year wedding anniversary. We shared two appetizers, a salad and both ordered two very different entrees - I got the flounder which was perfectly cooked and my husband the steak. We shared a chocolate cheesecake topped with caramel and served with butterscotch ice cream and it was delicious. This restaurant is located near our home and was the perfect night out for our special occasion.3/8/2013 12:00:00 AMGive your review a titleSerpas is outstanding. It is the best restaurant in Atlanta in terms of food quality and value. I used to go for dinner about once a week. I have tried just about everything on the menu. my favorite appetizers are the smoked spread on home made chips with a chipotle sauce and the tuna tartare with apples & chile sauce. many people go for the veal porterhouse which is delicious. the hamburgers are really good as are the cheese grits. I also like the scallop entrée. ice creams are wonderfule - the malted milk is my favorite (not sure if it's on the menu right now). don't miss the beignets!!2/12/2013 12:00:00 AM
