  • "This was my first visit and I was very impressed! Fantastic menu."

  • "They just opened the patio - service was still getting used to it, but they were attentive. Food is fresh and the dishes are all flavorful. We tried the fried oysters, omelette with fresh veggies/goat cheese, french toast. The beignet is a MUST have. Sitting at the chef's bar is in interesting experience as you watch the kitchen bustle around and the chef is always around, often putting the final garnish."

  • "This was my first visit to Serpas and was very pleased with my visit. We were seated outdoors on a beautiful Sunfay which was a great bonus. Our waitress was pretty slow with service for the duration of our visit but I was focused on the integrity and beauty of the food here. I had the creole omelet on egg white and although it was a lot oily, the spices were delicious and the food was nicely cooked. My friend had the Arugula salad and from what I tasted, I was blown away by he delicious flavor of the salad. I would say it was light and refreshing especially on a warm Sunday! We also had Peach Bellini's which were tasty as expected. Overall I would give this place a thumbs up! I will definitely be visiting again. - ciao :-)"

  • "Took my partner to celebrate her birthday with several friends. The food was delicious, as it consistently always is- smoked salmon chips, Lemon crab fritters, calamari, Pork chop, ellijay arugula salad. As we were making a toast to celebrate the birthday, our waitress overhead our conversation. At the end of the evening, she (unknowing to us) brought out a birthday cake. The personal touches are amazing here. Thanks for the perfect evening serpas!"

  • "We like to come to Serpas for specula occasions such as birthdays and family get-togethers. We love everything about Serpas from the appetizers to the desserts, We love that it's in our neighborhood and that the food is grown locally. We love the friendly staff and we love that they love to work there. We have dined in many restaurants around the world and It's hands down, one of our favorites."

  • "Went with the family for Sunday Brunch. Service was amazing, and food was great. We had the Beignets and and Pigs in a Blanket for Appetizers. Then for the actual meal I had the Cast Iron Sunny Side up Eggs... Everything tasted great. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good Sunday Brunch spot near downtown."

  • "So happy that we ventured out of our comfort zone! Started with cocktails and apps: Ticket to Old Fourth Ward, Captain Jack, eggplant hush puppies and fried oysters - YUM! Entrees were perfect - veal chop and pork chop - the preparation and presentation made it outstanding. We'll be back."

  • "Good food, waiter was nice but was a talker (and a toucher! Equal opportunity, he touched everyone) sadly was slow with drinks and even forgot to bring drinks later. we ordered two bottles of wine and both times had to ask him to bring it when it never arrived."

  • "First time and I went w two girl friends. Contemporary feel but not "cold", atmosphere great for brunch and is probably pretty cool at night too. I had the eggs Benedict and it was very good. Beignets were warm and delicious, the cronuts left something to be desired. Although I have never had a cronut before so I have nothing to compare it too. Service was good, it was very busy but the server seemed to keep up w the basics like coffee refills and water. He never rushed us to turn his table which I appreciate since I like brunch to be leisurely. Plan to go back to try dinner!"

  • "My husband and I wanted a place for brunch after a huge Champagne dinner on Saturday night. Something spicy with eggs. Serpas was the place. The Fried Oyster Eggs Benedict fit the bill. We always order pancakes whenever we have breakfast or brunch and the pancakes did not disappoint. The best part of the meal was the service, very attentive staff. My husband was so involved in his Eggs that he neglected his pancake and when he asked the hostess from New York to reheat it, he received another fresh pancake. We'll definitely be back!!"

  • "The restaurant is trendy--no doubt.Lots of metal, high ceilings and wood (translate to loud). Food is only fair and they are downright snotty about making any substitutions. Want a side of one fried egg with your breakfast? Sorry, we only sell them in pairs (how absurd is that!). The service is fairly slow and the waitress for our Sunday brunch acted like it was inconvenient for her to wait on us. The food was fair and, for the price, certainly not worth it (brunch for 3--well over $70--without alcohol)."

  • "Sunday Supper you simply can NOT beat! We had friends in town from Michigan & wanted them to know ATL was a diner's choice town. We reserved early (6pm) and got the best table! Noise was agreeably low, conversations easily spoken and understood. Presentation and timing were on the mark. Good color and arrangement, not 'busy' or overblown. Even the fish (come'on: how many ways *are there* to dress up fish?) was simple and quite good looking. Flavor was cosmic, out of this world! Damn if Serpas can COOK! Consistancy was spot-on. The finishing beignets were the best I've had away from Cafe de Monde in N'rleans. Strongest possible recommendation. Visited many times & keep coming back for more. Personal fav!!"

  • "The service (Sarah) was knowledgeable of the wine list and menu. Delightful personality. The tuna cerviche was very good Hard to complain but there was a lot of it. The grilled octopus was terrific as was the veal porterhouse. Overall a very enjoyable experience."

  • "This place was quite a find. I moved to the area 8 months ago and happened to drive by and decided to try it out. This place has become one of my favorites. I was there midweek and the service was great. The server took his time to explain the dishes and was intent on us having a good experience. The atmosphere was open, spacious and I did not feel crowded in the environment. I had fish and it was amazing. The food is made to order and my fish had this crispy skin and was flakey. I will be back."

  • "On Tuesday, March 25th, my good friend and I decided to celebrate our birthdays (March 28th & 29th respectively) at Serpas. That was the perfect place to have wonderful conversation, drinks, lovely service and great food. We stayed for about 3 hours and the staff came by to chat with us and were very accomodating and generous. I would recommend this spot to anyone visiting or needing a chill spot to dine. Love it! Oh yeah....the food was divine."

  • "I'm using this restaulant several time for my friend to know as new and hot place in Atlanta. My friend always ask, what kind food, then I answer "American Food", but always finally they had deep satisefy and they say this foods are like a europian menue and taste."

  • "I recently came in for Sunday brunch. Everyone from the valet, to hostess, to bartender, to server, was notably prompt, attentive and courteous. The menu looked fantastic - it was difficult to choose with so many great-sounding options. We shared beignets to start, then I had the short rib eggs benedict. My friend enjoyed a crab omelet. Food came out quickly, was delicious, perfectly prepared and the right temperature. The chef stopped by the table to check in our our meal. My only less-than-positive comment was that the room was very noisy; however, it was a young, high energy crowd who all seemed to be having a great time. I will definitely be back and I will highly recommend to others."

  • "I love this joint! I have been gong here since they opened over 5 years ago... they are consistent. There are the familiar items on the menu but Chef Scott Serpas changes it just enough to keep interesting. I would recommend this spot to anyone. Date night , hanging with the girls or a family dinner you can't go wrong. Peace"

  • "This was my second visit to this restaurant. The first time I went with friends, it was so busy we had to sit at the bar to eat (which was fine). This time I made sure to make a 6:45 pm reservation in order to really have the full dining experience. The food and atmosphere were great. However, our server was so busy that we waited forever for him to come back with drinks, apps, dinner and the check. I don't necessarily fault him for this because it seems like he was running from table to table to table constantly and every table (of his) was in some state of waiting for him to come back. Overall, we went there for the food and it was great. No complaints there. Just wish our server were less busy."

  • "This restaurant was recommended to me by a colleague and it was an impeccable dining experience!! Great food...probably the best calamari I have ever had!!! We dined on a Tuesday night so it was quiet but I would endure loudness just for this great food and service!!!!!!! Can;t wait to bring my friends here!!!!!! I don;t normally ramp and rave about restaurants because I fine dine a lot but this was really, really, really, really good!!!!!!!!"

  • "Great list of appetizers. The salmon chips are still my favorite. The Rock Fish was so very delicious! The Rock Fish was so very delicious! Unfortunately-- mine was extremely small. It was tiny, even compared to the person next to me who ordered the same thing. His Rock Fish was a nice portion. Great dessert. The service is also fabulous! Serpas is just a wonderful place to enjoy a great meal/date."

  • "I had never been here before and went solely on information from the website and reviews. Everything was fantastic! The food was outrageously delicious (and I consider myself a food snob), our waiter couldn't have given us better service, and the atmosphere was very trendy. The only thing I would change is the noise level. Toward the end of our meal, it became difficult to hear each other. Other than that, great time had by all. :)"

  • "Until I turned into the neighborhood, I didn't realize I had been here for dinner a year ago. At that time, I thought the food was just ok -- almost heavy, and I didn't think I would be back. Based on the brunch menu, I came back unknowingly -- with no regrets. Great selection. Their egg omelette with andouille sausage, crab and shrimp was good but I thought their crab meat was too stringy. Beignets was meh. Two minuses that took away one star. Waiter was inattentive and perhaps even a little glum. He was also no help at all when it came to recommendations. Other was the 12:30pm requirement before alchoholic beverages could be served. The latter is not any fault of theirs obviously. By 12:30pm though, brunch is almost done."

  • "The service is always perfection and the food is reliably enjoyable. I love this neighborhood gem of mine -- a staple for our going out, be it date night, meeting with 8 friends or taking our parents out for a class of wine and a delicious meal. Extremely versatile place!"

  • "In my last visit I was there on a Sunday brunch and ordered what on the menu was described as a pastrami sandwich. What I got was nothing like pastrami, but something that looked and tasted like a short rib sandwich. Not that it tasted bad, I mean l really like short rib, but pastrami and short rib are not related in any way. It is like ordering shrimps and getting calamari. Even the local McDonald is capable of accurately describing items on their menu. A restaurant the price range and caliber of Serpas should hold themselves to higher standards"
