Amazing experience. It's a little hidden, but once you find it, the food/service was amazing! Give this restaurant a chance. Loved it!!

Place was completely empty, which was a bit creepy. It was a cool setting. My wife had the scallops, which were not fully cooked or even warm, and the risotto, which was not risotto, but rather twice. It was good, but they should call it what it is. I had the halibut, which was perfectly cooked, but served with 2 of the most flavorless sauces. It was pretty disappointing.

Only our table in use at this restaurant, The waitress never really interacted or shared any specials. We saw the specials outside when we left. It left us feeing a little empty. Not sure about this place for lunch on Sunday.

Food was good (Fit for Foodies), but the price and portions were a little out of wack. $5 for a bowl of steamed Jasmine rice is a little steep, as is $28 for 3 scallops, asparagus and some curry sauce. Most locals know this location has been notorious for not being successful and I wish the best for Serenity, but I think in order to stay open, the price point needs to drop so they can make it work in volume vs. dollars per check. This is just the opinion of a foodie that lives in downtown and has seen a fair share of higher price point restaurants fail.

The food was very very good and imaginative! We were a party of eight and everyone loved their food. Super mix of Asian tastes and beautifully presented. As others have noted the portions are on the small side considering the price. But the ingredients are high quality and no one left hungry. Nice wine list and creative specialty drinks. We will be back next time in SD.

Great food - excellant wait staff. Too bad this place just can't seem to draw a crowd for some unknown reason though. The salmon is delicious and I loved the soup. Unfortunately, we were the only table there at 8:00 on a Saturday night!!!! A shame for sure!

We tried Serenity for lunch & were pleased with the decor (modern) & specatular view from upstairs of the Convention Center & the movement of trollies immediately below us. The appitizers & sandwiches were excellent. we will return.

Although the restaurant is geared towards conferee crowd, it’s worth the visit never the less. Sophisticated atmosphere, excellent service and well-tailored menu would definitely intrigue even the most erudite taste buds. Get there before the Grand Opening, because soon Serenity will be the place to be and reservations would need to be made weeks in advance.

Very new restaurant, but the food was pretty good... they serve crafted drinks that many in my party recommended could be a bit stronger. The ambiance is wonderful with the waterfall and bamboo accents. There is a lounge upstairs that was nice and hip... The staff were very friendly and courteous.. Would definitely dine again!
