She had the filet, I had the ribs, and we were both pleasantly surprised. We expected the food to be good, but this was absolutely wonderful. A little "lively"...So if you are looking for quiet, this is probably not the place. The openness of space has the sound bouncing. Didn't seam like it should be so loud. It's a must to order and taste their famous frozen hot chocolate. We got a coupon from our hotel for a free frozen hot chocolate when an entree was ordered. Serendipity 3 did not disappoint! I have been before to the one in Miami, this was his first time. Him having never tried the frozen hot chocolate, I wanted the date to be special. Everything about the date was wonderful. We had reservation. We were seated very quickly. The pdf menu online allowed us to look over what we want in advance, making ordering easy. Our food came very soon after we ordered, as did our frozen hot chocolate. My only complaint is that the location is very small and only had one tv. (NBA finals) due to the lack of space it made the restaurant seem cramped. We had a table outside it was really nice as had a view of strip and entertaining for people watching but was extremely hot at this time of year so probably would sit inside next time. She wanted to have desert- so I made reservations as we were also in town for a softball tournament. The food and service was amazing! The desert made her the happiest little girl around- she just couldn't decide what to pick. We very much appreciated being seated promptly with our reservation made through OpenTable, especially with 3 young kids. FYI - For first time Serendipity diners, depending on whether you're looking for breakfast or lunch items, know that lunch menu items start at 11am.
Overall we were very pleased with the service provided by Marissa, and the food was delicious (know that you'll be paying more for food items, but you're also paying for the 'Serendipity dining experience").

However, the first server we had took over 15 minutes to ask us if we wanted drinks when it wasn't busy, and then promptly asked us what we wanted to eat. We were not given ample time to look over the menu and decide what we wanted, and we were waited by another woman. The service from then on was fantastic. This other server was patient, helpful, and full of great tips and had a happy glow about her. The food that she recommended was great, and we left with bloated stomachs and good vibes. The frozzzen hot chocolate (their specialty) is definitely something you need to try. The service was a little lacking and we sort of felt forgotten most of the time and had to track down our waiter to get service. Other than that it was a great spot to people watch along the strip. I highly recommend the outdoor tables. We were able to get a table on the patio at the front of the restaurant, so we could see people and cars pass by. The music was fun, but it wasn't too loud. My husband and I could still hear each other. All of the meals and desserts that passed by us looked amazing.
