Diner Reviews
  • "We celebrated a big birthday with family. We have been to many of the serefina spots but this is our favorite. Food was Delish, and they met our dietary needs and wants. Love the outside and will be back again. They meet the needs of everyone's likes and dislikes with food. You can do anything from pizza to veal. Awesome!"

  • "My family were in town and they remembered going to another Serafina location and enjoying it last time they were in town. Unfortunately, bad service, and bad food plague this location. We were seated in a booth in the back, and we were ignored by our waiter for most of our stay. We had to keep grabbing busboys to get what we need (some water, some cheese, ...). When our order was taken, we were with kids and asked for their food to be brought at the same time as our appetizers- it was not and when we asked the waiter why the food was taking so long we were told it's because you ordered appetizers. The manager kept sneaking into the back area to text, and completely was oblivious to what was going on. Pasta was overlooked."

  • "We were there for Sunday brunch and the service was slow and inconsistent. Meals came out in three different time periods. Those that got served first politely waited for everyone to get served before eating. By the time my wife got served everyone had cold food. My children are not picky eaters, but one son's eggs were bad (rubbery) and my other son's pasta (which he loves) he would not eat beacuse it tasted bad. The steak in my steak and eggs was tiny and was of mediocre quality. They clearly could not handle the brunch busy crowd."

  • "The East side branch seems better food. This place feels like they tried to grow too fast and the food, service & overall charm suffer."

  • "We were looking for nice/casual place for dinner with a group friends. We were delighted with everything at Serafina. The place was hopping with people, noise and excitement. Lots of families, couples and groups. The service was excellent and the staff helpful and friendly. Despite being full, we were not delayed to our table. The food was excellent and timely. Well recommend. Felt like a family chic neighborhood Italian family restaurant. There are several in NYC, but this one was excellent."

  • "We were a group of 8 and had a fabulous waiter and enjoyed all our dishes. The carciofi salad was exemplary and the pizzas we ordered were very good. the chicken paillard is delicious. Nice selection of tap beers and solid wine list. It is a great place for a meal before going to a concert at The Beacon Theater."

  • "Way too loud. Could not hear my table mates. It is a large room with table crowded in. Good for a chain restaurant however."

  • "Perfect spot near the Beacon Theatre. we ordered two delicious pasta dishes. Service was a bit fast , but no one rushed us. Would definitely go back. I have been to other Serafina restaurants in NY. This one has more casual menu, but delicious!!!"

  • "Living next door, we really wanted to love this new Serafina location. We've been to other locations and enjoyed the food, so had high hopes for this one. Unfortunately, the only food that did make it out was the bruschetta, which was incredibly hard. I believe the bread was prepped and then left out for too long. Then we waited another 45 minutes before we decided to leave because the rest of our order never made it. We were not alone in our disappointment as the table next to us (arrived before us) only got their food when we were leaving and all their bagels arrived burnt."
