Everything FabulousFour of us had dinner prior to the Boz Scaggs concert. We were seated outdoors on a lovely evening. The courtyard dining is quite nice. Service outstanding. Food even better. Josiah and crew are usually flawless and this time was no exception. While our server this time was superb, service can be a bit spotty at times. Our reservation was on a Wednesday night, so the restaurant was far from capacity - I believe it would have been much busier on a weekend, or during summer. They had a nice menu option, where you chose between - I believe 7 - course pre-fix, or a choice of 3 of 4 selections. The food was delicious, the wine selection was impressive, and the personal touch was nice. The chef and owner came out after our meal and thanked us for dining there. We received a complimentary amuse-bouche before our meal, and all three courses were delicious. Didn't have any desert - due to being too full - but the ones they were carrying out to the other tables looked delicious. Food quality and presentation were generally excellent, although one second course (golden beet salad) was undistinguished. We were disappointed that the normally quiet and romantic dining room seems to be periodically invaded by the wealthy, self-absorbed Saratoga set with their uncontrolled kids - an issue not the fault of Sent Sovi, but of these particular guests. Nothing that could not be fixed right up with a little bit of paint. It was very quiet - with only 1/4 of the tables filled on a Saturday night.
