We started with the Turkish fig and phyllo wrapped goat cheese as appetizers, and they were perfect. The savory figs literally melted in our mouths with flavour. This place is also really good for happy hour from 3 to 7pm although we came for lunch. I had the gnocci which was really good.

We were treated very well, and the view of the Bay Bridge was lovely. I had the porkbelly on wilted kale and frisee with a 30-something degree egg. Yummy.
It was a working lunch, so we didn't indulge in cocktails or wine. Our server was gracious and attentive--her pride of place was evident, yet subtle.
