I have to say that we should not be surprised by the wonderful meals at Selkirk Grille but with so many other restaurants being inconsistent, we are always happy to land here for dinner. We have great food every time and just love the custom woodwork, soft lighting, view to the outdoors, and fabulous Italian server with character and seasoned skillset. We have experienced their dinner and a movie night with really fun themed meal, the delicious appetizers on the patio during their free concert on the plaza, and now Chef Hansen's thanksgiving dinner. I don't normally go for this fare however it was an updated tradition I would do again. My husband loved the food too and we are always inspired to hold hands in that beautiful lighting :)

Full lights felt awkward for an evening dinner, bread wasn't warmed but was wrapped in a linen. Wooden chairs with little cushioning And no booths. Just felt like Denny's trying to be high end. Old host was not very welcoming but service and food were fantastic.

We had eaten here before, but before booking had seen some recent negative reviews on Urban Spoon and were slightly apprehensive. On this occasion, we were entertaining some visitors from out of town and had just finished touring Heritage Park, which we hadn't visited for over ten years. We were seated immediately and were fortunate in that the restaurant wasn't overly busy during our visit. Two of us tried the Smoked Pork Chop, while one had the Steelhead Trout and the fourth splurged on the Beef Tenderloin. We all enjoyed all aspects of our meal, and felt that it justified the cost. The service- from all waitstaff we encountered- was friendly and competent. We'll definitely return.

We had a party of seven, including two kids ages 5 and 7, to celebrate a very special occasion. We had brought our own special champagne, which they chilled and served with only a small charge. Now they do not have a kids menu, but they did make my kids chicken fingers and fries which were great. Do plan to spend a few hours for dinner, but it is well worth it.

This restaurant has now become our 'go to' restaurant for our girls birthday lunches - nice get away tucked into Heritage Park; good selection of food & wine & excellent service. I had a salad with chicken (delicious), while my friends has the bison meatloaf & flatbread -both of which had hearty portions & were described as very flavorful. It was not that busy on the Saturday we went for lunch & the server was charming & attentive to us. Parking is not an issue at this restaurant which is also appealing to our group. We'll be returning soon.

My wife and I went for our anniversary and had planned to sit out on the patio to eat dinner and watch live music however it was raining that day. But no big deal as they had moved all of the live music inside and opened the restaurant walls up to the gasoline alley museum where we got to enjoy our dinner and and live music. Food was great and service was great. They ended our evening with complementary glasses of port....mmmmmm

The outdoor patio is very comfortable and the lunch menu was varied with a good selection of light choices such as salads and fish. For carnivores, the hamburgers looked meaty and delicious; I didn't see anyone leaving food on their plate. Value was very good with price ranges being similar to Earl's, Milestone's, etc but a higher calibre of food quality and presentation. It is a relaxing dining experience and great to see that there were not many people dining with children.

Foood was outstanding....but unfortunately we had to wait a long time to get it and only got it after I asked where it was...and then when we got 1/2 of the food we were told that the rest of the order got missed...this isn't the type of service you expect at a fairly expensive restaurant...even heard other patrons asking if anyone was going to serve them...but like I said the food was excellent once we got it. Hopefully it was a one off...and not the norm

My dining partner and I specifically chose Selkirk Grille at Heritage Park on a Wednesday evening to enjoy "Music in the Plaza" from the patio. The hostesses at reception were pleasant, courteous and efficient, and already had us out on the patio, even though I had not requested it (guess that was assumed on a day that was 32). The first performer was pleasant; the second, not so much -- much louder. My dining partner and I had to quickly squeeze our conversation in between numbers. The food was wonderful -- my partner and I took the last two pan-fried trout servings left for the evening. Scrumptious. Service exceptionally accommodating. Since the beer keg ran out on our refill order, the 2/3 of a glass that was left was on the house!

Went here for my husband's birthday dinner celebration. We had the pork belly and scallops and it was excellent! Crab cake was good as well. Very small portions though. The beef tenderloin was good but I've had better steak elsewhere. Halibut was good. For dessert we had Sticky Toffee Pudding which is the best dessert they have! Truffle cake was good. Panna Cotta was ok. Service was very good. The place is very quiet. I'd recommend this place as they have good food. I was happy with my experience.
