A word from Sekisui - Cordova
Sekisui Restaurants feature award winning sushi and authentic Japanese cuisine. Chefs are encouraged to show off their creativity and listen to customer’s ideas, creating sushi rolls that can’t be found anywhere else, and purists will be delighted with the exhaustive lineup of nigiri sushi - perfectly sliced fish atop a mound of seasoned rice. The restaurant’s fresh fish is flown in several times a week from locations such as Hawaii, Louisiana, and Los Angeles. There’s something to please everyone. The extensive menu covers lots of familiar Japanese cuisine territory with teriyaki, tempura and udon noodles. As it is always full of familiar faces, Sekisui is a popular neighborhood hang-out.

the service was terrible, we waited over 20 minutes for someone to even come to the table to offer water. The food was poor and the service was worse. We will never return. It was a horrible disappointment.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the entire tri-state midsouth area. I have never had a subpar experience there. The food is always very fresh and prepared in a timely manner.

It has been some time since we had an actual "reserved" sign on our table and it made us feel special when we arrived. The Sushi chefs were quite entertaining, and we wished we had chose to sit at the bar instead of a booth. The menu color, a blue, made it very difficult to read in the dark room. The service was very good. I wish I could say this was the best sushi we found in the Memphis area but it was just average in taste and presentation. Our dinner included a pre-dinner cocktail, Miso soup, seaweed salad, green tea and many different sushi rolls with tips ran $150.00. This is an average we expect to pay at any great sushi restaurant. Overall it was a good experience.

Server was very friendly and accomadated the high demands of my 2 year old! We had a large group for my birthday and I felt that the server took very good care of us. The hot food from the kitchen took a little longer than we would have liked. She entered our sushi order first thing so it came quickly (she explained if she waited to put the sushi order in it may take a long time as it was around 7pm on a Satuday). Aside from the whole table not being able to eat at the same time everything was fine. Sushi was delicious!
