Seiya is a wonderful place to eat. Some of the freshest sushi in the area (quality is reflected in the prices). Delicious dishes, unique menu items, excellent service, and a more modern decor make this one of my favorite spots to eat dinner on a nice night out. I highly recommend Seiya.

The food here is very, very good. Excellent quality products and creative modifications to the traditional Japanese flair, in addition to a nice presentation and very efficient (and cute) Japanese waitresses.
My only issue is that I felt rushed. I ordered several plates to test different rolls and dishes, and never mind I was seating at the Sushi bar, the plates just kept coming very fast while they were still seating other people very close to me, which is rather uncomfortable.

1 waitress serving the entire restaurant during lunch time??!! especially someone who doesn't bother writing your order down and you have to ask her several times where your food is every 10 minutes since your order was submitted 30 minutes ago. come on!

Very nice place but I thought the portions were too small. I paid $15 for a chirashi lunch special and had to choose whether I wanted soup OR salad - would it have killed them to just inlude both, and maybe put a little seaweed on the plate along with the sashimi?

I have been in so so many authentic and fusion Japanese restaurants globally. This one is really disappointing. NO creative, NO authentic. Pricy. It tries to be a fusion restaurant but really confuse me!!!

This was our first trip here & we enjoyed it very much. We've had a hard time finding a nice sushi place with some unique rolls -- Seiya fit the bill. (The fish tacos were fantastic!) Because we were there early, the place was very quiet, but it's so tiny -- a long, thin strip that seats maybe 12 at tables & 12 at a long bar -- it probably doesn't get very loud. Highly recommended.
