A word from Seersucker
Called "small, but brilliant" by Time Magazine and one of Brooklyn's best restaurants by GQ, Seersucker is a 32-seat neighborhood spot inspired by the food and hospitality of the South. According to The New York Times, "It’s urbane, soft spoken and modern, the kind of place where actual residents of Chapel Hill, Nashville or Birmingham might go on a Saturday night."

Chef/owner Robert Newton, who hails from Arkansas, has crafted a cuisine inspired equally by his childhood favorites and the Carroll Street greenmarket across the street. He relies upon small farms and indie purveyors for many of his ingredients, so the menu changes frequently based upon what's available and in season. Seersucker's beer, wine and spirits list is all American, and the coffee comes from Counter Culture of Durham, North Carolina.
