Special Events & Promotions: Join us on Saturdays from 10:00am-3:00pm for our new Saturday brunch. We will be offering a traditional a la carte brunch menu with an extensive burger menu, design it yourself bloody mary bar, and bottomless mimosas. Also, we continue our monthly chef's class on the third Tuesday of the month (dates subject to change). For just $15, you can learn from the Second Home Chef team, get a glass of wine, and try everything that they showed you during the class.

"Easter and Mother's Day brunches are real gems and an unexpected surprise. The outside tent (a permanent structure) is transformed into a lovely outdoor venue which is intimate enough to allow the chef creative license. We lingered over 2 hours and had such an enjoyable Easter brunch. There was an hourly Easter egg hunt that kept the kids entertained as the oversized Easter Bunny danced his way around the hotel. A true gem that is superior to the Broadmoor and Brown brunches. We can't wait for Mother's Day!"

"The noise level was so high that we literally had to yell across the table to hear each other. The service was poor as we waited about 15 minutes just to get our drinks. The food was good except the potatoes were coated with a spice which made the taste of a potato unrecognizable. The 1 egg and small pancetta was great but not worth $13.00.
I had originally asked for a table near the outside. The hostess said that was a six top and proceeded to sit us (4) in another six top. No one ever sat at the table I originally wanted to sit at.
The overall service was poor as the server was always in a hurry, abrupt and did not extend herself at any point in time. Not a memorable experience!"

"We were celebrating our daughter's graduation from college, and noted that on the reservation. After we had a beer in the bar to see the end of a basketball game, we were seated. Upon being seated, the Restaurant Manager brough over glasses of champagne for us to make a toast to our daughter. She was so surprised, and it was very special."

"Tomato basil soup and french onion soup were very good. Margarita pizza was also good. However, Duck confit, ordered by a friend, was returned after one very disappointing taste. Tuna tartar description on menu doesn't mention that there is chili mixed in it. I don't like chili and would never have ordered this had I know what was in it. Had to stop eating it after just a few bites."

"Service could have been better as it was slow to take and receive our orders. Server also should have known, with 2 kids (12, ans 10), and advised that the portions are very large so splitting might be a better option. Can't blame the restaurant for wanting to make money but the food waste is odd. 14 year old additionally ordered the pancakes and got 3 humongous 12 inch wide cakes. Too much. Charge the same if you want but ask if 2 is plenty which it will be for 85% of patrons. WOuld definitly go back. wonderful brunch options."

"Service started out well, but then I felt like we were being rushed out the door. Our appitizers were on the table within 5 minutes of ordering. 10 minutes later we had entrees on the table. The final straw was when they brought dessert before my husband finished his entree. Soup was lukewarm, entrees good but nothing special. Won't be going back."

"I had wanted to have a nice brunch with my family that would include something to keep my 6 year old daughter entertained, not break the bank, enjoy conversation with my teenage sons and husband and of course, good food! Second Home's Pajama Brunch was everything I hoped it would be and the service was outstanding! From the hostess who engaged in playful conversation with my daughter and her American Girl doll to the servers that made us we feel like we were right at home, our Second Home. The child's menu was simple, but my little girl enjoyed Clayton's den as she met with other children,watched a DVD and lounged on pillows in a very comfortable setting. Kudos to the staff for an all around wonderful brunch experience! We will be back!"
