I have Celiac Disease and it is very hard for me to be able to out to restaurants without risk of eating gluten, but I felt 100% safe at Seasons. The server checked everything I ordered to make sure it was gluten-free and if there was something I couldn't have I was provided with alternatives. Usually this means a sacrifice in one way or another, but I didn't feel I was missing anything in the least! The service is, in our experience, the most professional in Davis. We love this restaurant and have since our first visit here the evening we moved to town eight years ago. My server was attentive but gave me space. I started with a golden beet salad which was amazingly fresh! The cherries just popped in my mouth. The restaurant menu focuses on the wood-fired oven where they prepare pizza and a number of other dishes, but the menu is quite varied. The staff, food, and appearance/mood were great and complimented the event well. My team members have all mentioned how great the event was. The reservation was also very open, as I increased the amount of seats needed a few times. The restaurant inside is charming and comfortable, and the service was prompt and well informed. We had grilled salmon citronella and sauteed greens, along with warm olives and marcona almonds, and a berry crisp with vanilla ice cream. And that's saying something, because block-for-block Davis has more great bars and restaurants than any other city in California, if not the world. I've spent a week visiting and dining at Seasons--plus all the other high-end spots in Davis--for 10 years now. Season's is always my first and last stop.
