  • "We made a reservation for Easter Brunch which the restaurant had. We asked to be on the patio but were told it was all full and they were unable to accommodate us since it was Sunday and they got really busy on Sunday!!! I guess a reservation did not help much in that regard. However, we did have a nice brunch and great service!!"

  • "We enjoyed a special Easter menu out on the patio. The food was excellent and we enjoyed the train tooting by a few times asxwe ate. The patio is large and it gives you enough room to pull your chairs back from the table to chat and enjoy the meal. "

  • "Dinner was good, fish was a bit over cooked but good. We celebrated our anniversary dinner here and then attended the theater. We will definitely return most likely on a night not pressed for time to attend the theater."

  • "We were attending a concert, at Mondavi so we opted for dinner in Davis. Seasons was a really nice discovery. The food was very good. The salmon was very good, served with wonderful seasonal vegetables. The burger was grilled to perfection and large enough to share with my "bottomless pit" dining companion!"

  • "We had not eaten at Seasons for several months. This return visit was a very good experience. The menu was a little less "foody" oriented. There were items that were tasty and well prepared. The service was also very good. We were early diners there seemed to be more patrons as time went along. We will be returning again in the near future."

  • "We were a party of 6, everyone with a different ethnic, cultural and culinary background, and we were all pleased with our starters, entrees and desserts. Seasons consistently provides well-prepared, fresh and tasty food and doesn't let one down."

  • "Seasons is normally a bit pricey for our budget, but a few times a year we bite the bullet and go. Last Sunday my wife was down in the dumps. I asked her if she could be anywhere doing anything what it would be. She said she would be in a nice dress in a great restaurant eating a perfect steak. We dressed up a little and headed to Seasons. All expectations were met. By the time we left she was back to her normal sunny disposition. Thank you Seasons!"

  • "We have had so many great meals at Seasons and this was yet another. Whenever we are in Davis visiting our daughter and it's our restaurant choice, we pick Seasons. The food in uniformly good - fresh ingredients and impeccable service. On this trip, we were meeting a group and were running late. They let half of our party be seated and order, then, when we did arrive 30 minutes late, the immediately took our order and we all ate almost at the same time. Not only that, they brought our check and we were able to eat and make the concert we'd come to town to hear. Wow! Can't recommend Seasons highly enough."

  • "Had a very nice meal with just over an hour to squeeze it in before heading to the theatre. Our waiter was a bit imperious, and the manager initially brought us the Stag's Leap Cab Sauvignon instead of the Stag's Leap Petite Syrah we ordered… but all was soon made right. The swordfish special was yummy, though not super flavorful or memorable. The duck was delicious. The kale caesar appeared to have no kale in it at all, but was otherwise just fine. Sadly, no time for dessert."

  • "Great food and a good place to take a group if you want high class food, but at a decent cost considering where you are at. It is the only place in Davis to get great seafood and steak."

  • "The Delta Asparagus Salad special was excellent with generous serving of asparagus cooked and chilled perfectly. The combination of apples, almonds, lettuces, and citrus salad dressing went together wonderfully. The pizza was delicious even when we asked to leave off the cheese and prosciutto that was on the menu."

  • "The Seasons is in a great location! It is across the movie theater. It is very clean. Great service and they allow you to sample beer! We only sampled one beer and ordered Salmon Picatta, 4-cheese pizza, Caesar salad, potatoe and leek soup and a bacon burger plus drinks. The tea selection is limited but I recommend Orchids Oolong."

  • "This restaurant was exceptional, the service was just like eating at a 5 start restaurant, the food was fabulouse. Everything about this place is outstanding."

  • "The staff bends over backwards to accommodate guests. They know their menu. Even when traffic made us 20 minutes late, they made sure we were fed and on our way to Mondavi on time. Thank you!"

  • "Good not great experience in all regards. To b fair was first night of new menu though that does not explain service lapses"

  • "My fiancée and I love Seasons, it's one of our special spots to go to in Davis. The food was simply delicious, our server was attentive and the staff was accommodating when I called ahead and asked them to have a bottle of barber at our table when we sat down. Speaking of which, the Palmina Barbera was sensational, even better than the Putah Creek bottle we enjoyed last year. As for the food, the crab cakes were light and tasty, my stuffed meatballs were fantastic (although the red sauce was a little too thin for my taste), and the chicken risotto was out of this world!"

  • "It was a very comfortable and beautiful inside the restaurant. The food was wonderful and creative and beautifully presented. This restaurant is great for special occasions. Pricey, but appropriately priced for how nice the whole experience is."

  • "One of the better restaurants in Davis, CA. Parking may be difficult Friday and Saturdays, but I can usually find a spot close by."

  • "Valentine's Day was busy as expected but the service was still great and so was my salad. Veggies were nicely cooked. Some day I hope there is some type of vegan entree option."

  • "Pricey but good, great device we always wanted to stop in and did so on Valentines Day it was a hit"

  • "My boyfriend and I arrived about ten minutes early and were seated right away. We were the youngest couple there by about 20 years, but that's ok! The server did not treat us any differently, and in fact was very respectful of our dining experience. We ordered four courses, all of which were timed appropriately and absolutely delicious!"

  • "We celebrated an adult birthday and mini-reunion with 14 family members in Season Restaurant's private dining room. Many of the family members travelled from out of town. The service was great and everyone enjoyed their food selections. We will certainly plan to do this again."

  • "This is a lovely restaurant, with imaginative and fresh (but not overwrought) contemporary food, friendly staff, well-trained service, and relaxed atmosphere. We love it for a nice evening out or to meet friends for brunch/lunch that is a little more special. It never disappoints."

  • "We eat at Seasons regularly - mostly dinner - but it's a convenient place to meet friends for brunch or lunch halfway who live in the Bay Area (we live in the Sierra foothills). Contemporary dishes with local fresh ingredients, not overly fussy, but with some imagination and creativity. Friendly, accommodating staff provides excellent service."

  • "As I rated above, the food, service, etc. are good, but not that good to a degree you can charge a much higher price compairing to your peers downtown."
    Dined on 1/9/2014
  • "The food was good, the space was nice but the service is what made this celebration special. The staff did a great job of making the surprise work, getting our orders and delivering our meals. First rate, all the way."

  • "Ordered drinks and nobody asked if we wanted a refill. They wall around handing out bread sticks and we were only offered one, others were offered multiple times. Food was just OK, would've had a way better pasta dish at olive garden. Husband's burger was over cooked. Our waitress only showed her face to get our order and leave the check. Won't be going back"

  • "We certainly enjoyed our efficient, unobtrusive service, delicious food (loved my salmon) and professional treatment all around. It is every bit as sophisticated (if not more) and tasteful as San Francisco restaurants."
    Dined on 1/2/2014
  • "The menu is well balanced and moderately priced. The service is always excellent, knowledgeable, and friendly. The bar is complete with a wide range of drinks available. It is a great place to bring a family or a business group or a dinner with someone special prior to an event at the Mondavi Center or other campus or Davis-related venue."

  • "The staff could not have been more cordial. The food was just what we hoped for. Delicious wedge. A fine chicken cordon bleu. Good cocktails. Would return if I am nearby again."

  • "We enjoyed an outstanding "holiday" dinner.........food and service were excellent !"

  • "Seems like they have a nice seating area outside, but the dining room kind of makes you feel like a slightly upscale Applebees. The food is quite good and reasonable price/performance. Not the best place in Davis, but the reviews seems stronger."

  • "Seasons has excellent dinner optoins and the staff did not wince at my requests to omit onions and leeks. Risotto was fantastic. Peanut butter cup bread pudding was delicious."
    Dined on 11/21/2013
  • "We consider this the best restaurant in Davis. The food is well prepared and well presented. They bias their monthly offerings based on seasonally available produce; and the wine list is notable with a Thursday night 1/2 price for any bottle of wine special. Gets crowd on the weekends so make reservations on Open Table."
    Dined on 11/16/2013
  • "We have eaten at Seasons many times over the years. It has been very good. Recently, they have been more in a "foodie" direction. This is moderating a bit so hopefully it will be even more attractive. The service has been excellent."

  • "My friend and I each had the salmon -- I believe it was a special. It was perfectly cooked and delicious. It was accompanied by a largish portion of cooked swiss chard. A healthy and quite tasty lunch."

  • "I found Seasons online while searching for a restaurant to have our company Christmas dinner. We decided to try it out before we made arrangements. The food was really, really good. We had a butternut squash bisque that was to die for... I'm calling them this week to book our Christmas dinner."
