Diner Reviews
  • "We had a very enjoyable dinner at Seasons in the Park, the meal was delicious and their offering for my dietary needs as a Celiac were plentiful, I ordered a fillet mignon with mashed potatoes and vegetables and my wife ordered rack of lamb. The scenery was one of the best I've experienced in Vancouver especially when it became dark. The view from the patio was even better than inside, I will definitely go there again."

  • "The waitress accidentally knocked over a glass of water on my wife. But all good as her meal was on the house, I thought it was funny and so did my wife, we had a good chuckle about it and did not get upset. wasn't going to let it ruin our brunch. good place"

  • "We took my parents here for my Mom's birthday lunch. It was excellent - beautiful view, delicious food and great service. The one piece of of feedback I would provide the restaurant is that it needs more high chairs. My 18 month old had to sit on my lap for the majority of the time because they were all being used. They offered a booster seat but my daughter is not old enough for boosters. Otherwise, it was a great experience."

  • "This restaurant is open all afternoon. It's a lovely place to meet for a glass of wine at the end if the day. On cold days sit in by the fire. On warm days sit outside and enjoy the magnificent view of the city. The fresh fish specials on the dinner menu are always outstanding and the mushroom appetizers and pecan pie are famous!"

  • "I planned this for a special occasion celebration that included an out of town guest. The view is so spectacular anywhere in the restaurant ( even on a wet and dull day). Food was very good with attentive service. All 5 of us enjoyed what we ordered and would choose these dishes again. I will recommend this restaurant to others."

  • "After going to too many restaurants with terrible, head-pounding music so loud you can't even have a conversation, Seasons was a welcome reprieve. Even with a full house, you could still speak across the table without raising your voice. The food was excellent, locally sourced, good wine choices, and the service was fast, polite, and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!"

  • "The view was the greatest part. I'm not really a foodie so my analysis of the food should be taken with a grain of salt, but the pizza, soup and Calamari appetizers that we shared were delicious. Neither of us were 19 so we can't comment on the alcohol situation. The food was a bit expensive but the view is amazing"

  • "My husband and I went to Seasons in the Park for a birthday celebration. We had a wonderful evening. The food was excellent and well priced. The wine list was very good and we had to choose between a few of our favourites. I was impressed by the menu. We were there for a special night out and went for halibut and steak, but it was nice to see casual offerings such as pizza and burger on the menu too. The staff was outstanding. We were well attended to, but we were not rushed."

  • "Because of OT's space limitation (which I find unreasonable), I'm not able to post my review here. I posted it instead on Trip Advisor (please see under "Staff has real communication problems"). I will say here that when we dined here recently the staff either misunderstood, ignored, or forgot what we asked for: 1) a confirmation that they could accommodate the size of our party; 2) a request for no telephone reminder; 3) accommodation for my mother-in-law''s walker rather than a wheelchair; and 4) a request that 4 birthdays be honoured. What does it take, Seasons staff??"

  • "Loved having lobster month and my birthday coincide! The restaurant offered so many selections, it was difficult to choose. Eventually selected the lobster thermador, and it was full of flavour without the heavy sauce that is usually included. The chocolate cake and gelato were especially lovely desserts."

  • "Very relaxing and excellent place for good conversation. Easy parking for disabled patrons and easy to navigate the restaurant with a walker. Food portions are on the small side but very tasty."

  • "On a clear night there's no better place to see the City from afar amid the beauty of a park. On a cold night it's warm and inviting."

  • "Went with a group including my 18 month old. Requested a high chair in open table notes and table was not set with one when we arrived, BUT, the staff were very accommodating and got us set up right away. Service was quick and friendly. They were excellent with my daughter and food was quick and delicious. Enjoyed a leisurely three courses, which other parents know is a feat worth noting!! Kids menu was pretty standard - we actually ordered her a side of Mac and cheese from the adult menu which they brought out early and she enjoyed immensely. The atmosphere was much louder than we expected but that was not a negative. Probably not great for a quiet date, but awesome for a group with kids. Would go back!"

  • "I took my boyfriend to Seasons in the Park for his birthday dinner and we had a great time! Fantastic service, fantastic view and the food was incredible. We both had steak, the red wine sauce they use is incredible! And of course, the chocolate cake for dessert was amazing."

  • "I was the first party to sit down in the inside room. Kindly the server told us about the special and we were happy to give it a shot. Although none of us eat potatoes each meal came with fries. I wish the server would tell us, like how she told every table that came after us, that we could get a salad with the meal instead. We were upset but what can you do! Otherwise we appreciate how the servers took care to refilling drinks and bread as needed. The environment is great for catching up."

  • "This is a good restaurant for special occasions. I have been to this restaurant for birthdays, weddings, and others. However, I must say that most of the time, the food is a disappointment. Service and ambience are always very good as you would expect from a restaurant accustomed at hosting large gatherings and special occasions."

  • "The meal was fine. Our reservation was for 12:15 p.m. I have an email confirmation. However, when we arrived at the restaurant, shortly after 12, the host insisted that the reservation was for 12:30. He did find us a table, however, we may had a better table had the time been consistent. The food and service were excellent. I did email the restaurant and let them know and they did follow up with a phone call."

  • "Some fine dining locations end up costing so much for not so good food. Seasons in the park is no such place. Though it is expensive, I truly believe it's worth every penny. The outdoor patio and fireplaces make this my favorite dining spot for every special occasion. Cozy and warm, delicious food, friendly staff , I would recommend dining here to everyone."

  • "Our party of 4 enjoyed the experience of the restaurant. It has long been a favorite, so I was pleased to take out an of town guest. Wish those mushroom crab Appy's could be 1/2 size option Having a full 3 or four course meal was delicious. Compliments to the chef.... Yummy on the dessert a chocolate truffle torte. We enjoyed our evening enormously. Thanks to all."

  • "Went to Seasons for our first wedding anniversary. Although they could not reserve a window table for me, they did move my table twice until my wife was satisfied. We ended up in the patio, where we had an unobstructed view of Vancouver. The weather was nice and it was beautiful. Food was good. Prime rib was tender and juicy. Seafood carbonara has plenty of perfectly cooked seafood. For a restaurant with stunning view, the price was reasonable. Servers were attentive without being intrusive. No complaints whatsoever. We enjoyed our time so much that we will be back again in the near future. One complaint was that their cloth napkins were somewhat old and left lints on my wife's black dress and my pants. We had to ask for paper napkins."

  • "DId book ahead with open table . Everything was great except would have liked a window table. I ended up sitting with my back to the view. Perhaps next time they could reserve a table window???? Also would have liked some salad or greens with the salmon burger. The bun was nothing special"

  • "My wife and I have not been to Seasons for a couple of years. We were disappointed with the food and the service. The service was slow and the server did not know what was in the food. The food was average, my fish was well cooked but small. It was served with a pile of plain white rice, beans, and half a tomato. It reminded me of something I would get at a big wedding buffet. My wife's dinner was cold and had to be sent back. This place used to be great, recipes were old school but always well prepared and very good. Service was top notch, which made the experience a pleasure. Today, it seems like both the food and service have taken a turn for the worse. Too bad."

  • "This was my first time at Seasons in the Park, although I've heard about it for a very long time. Due to its popularity, I had pretty high expectations going in. My first impression - the chairs need to be replaced and the windows need to be washed. Food was generally good. The Seasons mushrooms were fantastic. The flavours of the steamed mussels made up for the small size of the mussels. The steelhead salmon was a bit overcooked in my opinion. But the special of the day (prawn and scallop Provençal) was very nicely done."
