My wife and I came to Seasons in Feb 2014, and I have to admit the service and food was not up to what you payed for.. I decided to give it one more try, I brought my family here for my Mothers 60th birthday, and let me tell you it was like night and day, the food was great as to be expected, But the service that we received was top notch, our server Sorin was simply amazing, he didn't miss a thing. One difference that I noticed is that everyone in the restaurant work as a team, We will be back...

We have been wanting to visit the restaurant for some time so when our friend's 35 anniversary came, we chose it. We had heard it was very good but none of us had been. When we first arrived, there was a large party happening - I was a bit concerned as I am tired of noisy restaurants. However we were led away to a very amazing room with a jaw-dropping view; with light ambiance music quietly creating a background. We got a table centre-window and it just kept getting better. The service was flawless; the food perfect - color, cooking and portion. I had not notified the restaurant that there was a special occassion but our server (Nash) noticed the card and when dessert came, there was a special Happy Anniversary chocolate on top.

I found this to be very disappointing. The price neither is representative of the service or the quality of the food. We were shown to a tiny table, with awkward seating which made my date uncomfortable. The room was not very full and had many tables. We requested to move to a larger table beside us. We were told they would check at the front for us. Soon after, another couple was given the table, we asked for, and then the hostess came and said "your moving" she took us to a busier section to another small uncomfortable table in a more crowded area next to where the staff seemed to be getting silver wear or something. It was equally small, awkward, but noisier. The food came and was rather fatty, and bland tasting.

Love this spot for taking out of town guests to see the city any time of day. The view is second to none and it's incredible to see the city from the highest point in town! Food is great service is also good. Love Seasons as well affiliated restaurants Sandbar and The Teahouse in Stanley Park.

I loved the Seasons in the Park - stunning view and a really pleasant surprise: no loud and/or mindless background music. The food and service were good++, though beware that hot means hot. My Japanese guest was a little non-plussed by the liberal use of hot peppers in the calamari and the broccolini. Even small plate servings are generous, so we didn't try the desserts, but I would love the chance to come again. It was a lovely lunch.

We have been to Seasons in the Park many times over the years and for the most part have left feeling very satisfied. Unfortunately not this time. The food was a best average, no better than a run of the mill chain restaurant. The Wedge Salad was plain. I had the Pork Chop and it was quite small (about what you would find in any Safeway) and over cooked.

Recently we dined at Seasons for a special birthday occasion. We (5) were very disappointed. The wait staff had way too many tables and customers to look after but the bus boys were tripping over each other. One dinner arrived with chicken when my daughter had distinctly ordered garlic prawns. By the time the proper dinner arrived the rest of the table had almost finished their main course. The cappuccinos and lattes were only lukewarm; obviously they had been sitting out for some time before they were brought to the table. We let the waitress know; she replaced the cappuccinos with regular coffee and did nothing about the lattes.

Although the setting was beautiful, we were rushed throughout our meal. At one point, the waiter even took the plate from one of our guests while she had fork to mouth. If you are looking for a quick meal - you can't beat the view...but a leisurely evening celebration would best be taken elsewhere. We were in and out within an hour and half.

It was over 5 years since since I visited this restaurant and I'm glad I went back. Food was excellent. The service was great at first and we were well looked after. Once the restaurant started getting busy (around 7:30 pm), our waitress forgot out my coffee and it took awhile for us to get our final bill. It wasn't a big deal, but it was a big difference in service levels from when we sat down (around 6:15 pm) to when we left (around 7:55 pm). A few words about the parking....take the valet parking for $8.00. Parking at the lot is $3.25/hour and you need about 2 hours at the restaurant. You can park a bit down from the restaurant for free if you want to walk uphill, probably not great if you're high heels. .

Went with friends for brunch and sat outside beside the fireplace ... beautiful view, too bad we can't say the same about the food. The Eggs Benedicts were ordered soft, yet all arrived hard cooked. Breakfast potatoes were cold and greasy. Unfortunately, it took a while for our server to check on us. The manager came to the table, and sent over a couple of orders that were somewhat better, and two complimentary desserts, which was considerate.

One of the nicest outdoor and indoor views from the highest point in Vancouver overlooking the city - basically a tourists dream - though we are not tourists. Still it is always great to come here, be seating on the patio with its fantastic chandeliers and enjoy and overview of the city of vancouver and the northshore mountains. Our waiters were outstandingly friendly and tremendously increased the enjoyment of our Labour Day weekend dinner celebration.

Couldn't have asked for anything better. Really appreciated their willingness to accommodate us with the early seating. Food was great as well.

Spectacular view of Vancouver. Highly recommend to get in just before dusk, as you can get the best of both views: the sunset bouncing off the downtown buildings as well as the glowing lights in the night. The food was very good and flavorful. The menu has enough variety to touch base on a number of styles of dishes: pizzas, prime rib, pastas. They have a nice valued prime rib three course at the back (wouldn't have seen it if my friend didn't point it out to me). Friendly service, and quiet to okay noise levels depending on the other diners. Definitely a place for special occasions as you pay the price to eat with this view. I'd recommend parking on the street below if you don't mind the walk.

Overall a very nice experience. Good food and the view is unbeatable during sunset. However, we were seated next to the door to the patio, and squeezed between the door and a pole that somewhat blocked the otherwise nice view. It does feel slightly cramped knowing that I might hit the door if I lean back in the chair. A better placement of seating would make this an even better experience.

While looking for a venue for a very special occasion, I thought of some of the great restaurants I'd visited in the Vancouver area in the past. All were worth another visit, but I wanted to try something new. Seasons eventually came to the top of the list, and I'm still wondering why I'd never tried it before. The view was awesome, but it's so much more than just a destination restaurant. Service was excellent and very personable, the menu was not huge but had something for everyone, and the food was very well prepared and presented. A very enjoyable and memorable experience.

The view was even better than I imagined, especially at sunset. The Seasons mushroom is delicious in its simplicity. The two mains we had, veal osso bucco and sablefish were both completely boring and flavourless. It wasn't bad by any means, it was just ridiculously BORING. The sunburnt lemon pie was pretty delicious and their wine list is extensive. Good for an occasion; request a window seat.

We so enjoyed dinner August 15. August 17 we dined at Pastis on W. 4th Ave. Had almost identical menus for four, and drinks, but the bill was 5 - 10% highter. New York steak there definitely not worth $30 for a slab of meat and fries smothered in gravy. So, yours is certainly the superior restaurant in many ways. Congrats! Adrienne Burton

The prices are very high for the quality and presentation of food offered. The noise level completely took away from the experience of fine dining. The portions were small and the salad, in particularly was made from lettuce that did no seem fresh and had very little goat cheese in it. The French would have been embarrassed.

Disappointing. The view is great and facilities very comfortable. Food was only so so for the price, I had rib eye steak so did my friend, it was tough and the veggies not hot. Plus we waited a long time for our main dish after salad was served, probably half an hour. That's just too long, I had to go feed the meter again. Any time I can cook a steak at home that tastes better for 1/3 the price why am I here? The waitress was good, but we never saw her after she took our order. I think in her defence she just had too many tables to take care of and her helpers were not really at the same level of training. Go for the view not the food.
