Diner Reviews
  • "Delicious! Service pretty good too. The staff seem open to correcting for mishaps."

  • "The view was even better than I imagined, especially at sunset. The Seasons mushroom is delicious in its simplicity. The two mains we had, veal osso bucco and sablefish were both completely boring and flavourless. It wasn't bad by any means, it was just ridiculously BORING. The sunburnt lemon pie was pretty delicious and their wine list is extensive. Good for an occasion; request a window seat."

  • "We so enjoyed dinner August 15. August 17 we dined at Pastis on W. 4th Ave. Had almost identical menus for four, and drinks, but the bill was 5 - 10% highter. New York steak there definitely not worth $30 for a slab of meat and fries smothered in gravy. So, yours is certainly the superior restaurant in many ways. Congrats! Adrienne Burton"

  • "We came back for our 4yr anniversary to seasons for dessert after enjoying a nice picnic in the beautiful queen Elizabeth park. We have been here several times before including having our wedding reception here. Every time it has been outstanding! Was happy to see that not only do they have high chairs but crayons and a kids menu. Will be back for sure"

  • "The prices are very high for the quality and presentation of food offered. The noise level completely took away from the experience of fine dining. The portions were small and the salad, in particularly was made from lettuce that did no seem fresh and had very little goat cheese in it. The French would have been embarrassed."

  • "This restaurant in Queen Elizabeth Park has a great view and the outside area is really comfortable, with fireplaces. Also nice to stroll around the park afterwards."

  • "Been here a few times and never had a baf experience. The staff, the ambience and food all fantastic."

  • "Disappointing. The view is great and facilities very comfortable. Food was only so so for the price, I had rib eye steak so did my friend, it was tough and the veggies not hot. Plus we waited a long time for our main dish after salad was served, probably half an hour. That's just too long, I had to go feed the meter again. Any time I can cook a steak at home that tastes better for 1/3 the price why am I here? The waitress was good, but we never saw her after she took our order. I think in her defence she just had too many tables to take care of and her helpers were not really at the same level of training. Go for the view not the food."

  • "My favourite place in Vancouver. I appreciate the gluten free options and the excellent service. i think it is not necessary to say more. I was happy... why would I have to write more. I'd like you to take this 50 character-rule out. Thank you."

  • "I dine frequently at Seasons. This is the hottest day at this site, air conditioning seems to be insufficient. My favorite chocolate cake was even melted. It wasn't pleasant to dine in the heat. Service wasn't as good as it used to be. It is also quite noisy even though it is only 70% full."

  • "Fantastic birthday dinner on a visit to Vancouver from the u.k. The view of the Vancouver skyline at sunset was magical, and the garden surroundings beautiful! Food and wine delicious."

  • "Atmosphere: crowded and noisy, hot with no air-conditioning Food: salmon benedict was good, mussels small in size Service: still have to wait despite reservation made. Our waitress was efficient. Minimal considerations were given to those with mobility problems."

  • "I dine at the Seasons in the Park in all seasons. The restaurant brings out the best of Vancouver in all 4 seasons both in scenic view and food."

  • "Seasons is one of our favorite restaurants. The view of Vancouver is spectacular. All our seafood dishes were presently in an attractive way, perfectly seasoned and juicy. Our server was professional, attentive and personable. I forgot to tell our server that my mother can not eat string beans but not to worry about it. A few minutes later our server brought a replacement vegetable out for her. This was a pleasant and much appreciated surprise. After a lovely satisfying meal, you can go for a walk around beautiful Queen Elizabeth Park."

  • "The service and food at Seasons is always exceptional. Its a good neighbourhood secret - perfect for a break from busy Main St with a killer view!"

  • "My Mediterranean Style Big Salad was generous and attractively presented, and much better than a previous version of Big Salad I had in the past. My husband's Caesar salad was also much better than an earlier version. He was happy with his slow roasted prime rib and we both enjoyed his chocolate cake, which was actually more like chocolate decadence. Service was excellent and the view from Little Mountain as great as usual."

  • "I loved the view from our table. The brunch was very disappointing, though. My friend, who has always had a half order was not allowed. She was told you don't do this anymore, but we were there in the spring and it was not a problem. Our omelettes were terrible-rubbery and no cheese. The waiter had an attitude and all in all, I was very embarrassed, as it was a birthday brunch. I will be going to Van Dusen in the future unless things improve! Thanks for letting me give you feedback and I hope things will improve in future."

  • "Title says it all. You cannot beat the views from here but they are the main reason to come. If they served this food in an ordinary setting it would not do very well. The burgers we had were dull and tough - we've had better in pubs. Service was friendly but a bit slow, although, as we were enjoying the view, that didn't matter that much. We'll come back here again, but not as our main meal of the day."

  • "The view from highest point in Vancouver is worth the $20 taxi ride. The hostesses seemed a little under trained. the general manager was stepping in and cleaning tables. They had a large private party that may have put a strain on Seasons. The food was good and covered a wide range from burgers to steak to great Halibut. The ambiance is lovely and if the weather is good outdoor dining is a must."

  • "My husband and I celebrated out anniversary at Season in the Park and were thrilled with the whole experience. I never knew such a gem existed in the city. The view will leave you breathless, the restaurant gorgeous and the food top notch. Something I specifically appreciated was the service as I find that many rituals of formal dining are forgotten these days. Our server was friendly and attentive, courses arrived together, dishes not cleared until both people finish eating, we never felt rushed, water always refilled, wine topped off, food was hot and (of course) crisp linens! I would recommend this place to anyone."

  • "The taste of the food was absolutely spot on. However, the mashed potatoes were fairly dried and some what taste like instant mashed potatoes. And i believed the foods were not immediately served after they were cooked since they were slightly cold."

  • "We recently had a delicious, beautifully presented dinner in this picturesque restaurant. We enjoyed the amazing view, and had a relaxed evening in a great environment. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a special occasion."

  • "I am from Van originally and we have spent a lot of time at Seasons over the years. I came back for a visit and to celebrate my birthday but it was not at all the same - the staff were all so young and seemed inexperienced and simply just cheaper and the food was overcooked or undercooked and we sent back salmon and then saw another table send back two steak entrees twice for being undercooked! Something not right there anymore - wont be back."
    Dined on 7/14/2014
  • "Kitchen always is a little slow -- The place wasn't 50% full and waited very long, again, for the meal to arrive...."
    Dined on 7/13/2014
  • "Brunch presentation on plates was bland and food taste was bland. Eggs were small with very little Hollandaise sauce on the Benedicts with just tiny pieces of asparagus. Meals were not hot, plates were not warmed. Omelette had unappetizing appearance, and $24.00 lobster Benny had to be returned. Was hoping brunch had improved from 5 years ago, but it hasn't. However, the deserts were Fabulous !! Very tasty! Lunch servings at other tables looked more interesting. Maybe this is just not the place for brunch. But the location and view were of course spectacular on a gorgeous sunny day. Our server was very nice and did attend to us well. I would go again, but not for brunch."

  • "We made reservations but when we reached our seats, we discovered it was indoors so we asked if we could get a table outdoors. Our request was quickly fulfilled with a beautiful view. Food was great, server was attentive, great place to have a romantic date! Highly recommend."

  • "We had fried calamari and it was awful. It was over battered and tasted like it was refried. Mussels was very tasty. Sable fish was excellent"

  • "Sadly, after much consideration we took a visitor from the UK To Seasons for his last evening's dinner. Although, the service was great and the food passable the noise was so loud that we couldn't hear our waiter or each other! A bit of a disaster!!"

  • "We went for the Sunday prime rib dinner special which was excellent, but a bonus was the sangria pitchers available in the summer. $18 for a pitcher which poured about 6-7 glasses is a great price!"
    Dined on 7/6/2014
  • "We had not been to Seasons for some time and decided to take a friend for a special birthday dinner. We were surprised at how much more crowded it seemed and also how much louder it was. The noise was not only coming from other patrons but also from the open kitchen which many restaurants feel they must have. The tables were so close together that the servers were not able to pass each other if they happened to meet. While the food was good, our meal seemed rushed and we did not feel we could linger over our coffee which we like to do. We had chosen Seasons because of the fabulous view, the excellent food and the superior experience it had provided for us in the past.On the whole we were a little disappointed with the experience this time."
