You get 3 samples of wine and a full pour of the one you like best, along with one of their excellent flatbread appetizers. A great way to start the evening! Finish off with one of the mini desserts.   • "I enjoy the Seasons 52 service at UTC, but the service at Seasons 52 San Diego - The Headquarters was anything but desirable. My mom had never been to the restaurant and I made reservations for us to have a nice dinner prior to the fireworks. The server took forever to bring us water, after about twenty-five minutes, he came back to take our order. I had to flag him down for a coffee refill. I won't go back to this location."

We were happy with our food selections - extremely tasty and the presentation was outstanding! Every time we visit Seasons 52, we enjoy ourselves immensely and tonight was no exception. We will be there again very soon and we highly recommend requesting Annie as your server."

  • "This is our fourteenth visit to Seasons 52 to celebrate the birthday of a close friend. The wine was terrific - wonderful choice off the happy hour menu - the sommelier makes some terrific discoveries at great affordable prices. Our choice was the cabernet, but all of the wines in the red wine flight are exceptional. The trout and Maui tuna salad were excellent along with the chicken chili and lobster tail. The desserts never miss and are just the right size for the last indulgence."

So glad he is back on Wednesday evenings, the day we like to dine there. Missed him for a few months! Trout was excellent as were the scallops and filet. Loved the change of accompaniments, including the snap peas and box tomatoes."

  • "Celebrated my friend's birthday at Season's 52 and knew it would be good. Robert T., the waiter, was especially good and made sure we were well taken care of. We wanted a bottle of wine and wasn't sure of our choice between two wines so he brought to the table a taste of each so we would not be disappointed with our choice. The salmon was excellent and so were the scallops. Dessert is always nice there too....any one of them! We have been eating at Season's 52 since it opened in town and will continue to go there."

Innovative twists on traditional dishes, seafood, chicken, pork, salads. A great treat for a reasonable, upper level price. I generally expect to be seated within 15 minutes. At least, while waiting we were entertained by the piano player in the bar. I will definitely return!"

  • "Food, ambiance and overall experience was awesome. But it was a special birthday occasion on a Tuesday night and we seemed to have selected an off night for Seasons 52 service. While server Rob did his best to beam, grin and serve us, he was assigned to too many tables and the restaurant was short-staffed. Not a good sign for a relatively new restaurant. This was our second visit and we will return, but we hope staffing levels improve. We did appreciate the "pyramid of decadence" mini indulgences desserts that were presented for my birthday. And the complimentary group pic was an unexpected, nice treat. Thank you!"

  • "This is our 12th visit to the restaurant since it opened. We took friends and had excellent meals. Favorites are the flatbreads - virtually all of them - maui tuna salad, scallops and risotto, lobster tail side, spinach and kale Caesar salads. Service is great, pleasant and not overly hovering. The wines are the happy hour flight list are great and available by the bottle tableside. Seasons 52 is an excellent addition to downtown San Diego, reasonable prices, great ambience and terrific, well prepared food."

  • "Maybe an off day?? The service was poor. Not attentive and we had to ask for hot tea, a glass of wine and water repeatedly. I ordered the roasted chicken. Below standard. The potato mash was not mashed and lacked flavor. A disappointment. I never right negative reviews and this is the first. Not deserving of a positive review. I can be happy with poor service if the food is good, Not in this case."

  • "This Seasons 52 at Headquarters has become my new fav restaurant in San Diego. You can park at Seaport Village and they validate your parking or the valet service is fast and friendly. You are welcomed at the door with a big hello, with or without a reservation, but considering the growing reputation the restaurant is getting these days, it helps to book a reservation. The seasonal menu and wine list are fantastic and I love getting the mini desserts. The service is top drawer and the servers are very knowledgeable. My guests had special dietary restrictions and the server was very respectful of them (not always the case in other restaurants) and the chef made special dishes to meet their needs. A gr8 experience."

  • "The wait staff was fantastic. We went there for our anniversary and everyone said happy anniversary and treated us with special care. The restaurant even gave us an anniversary card. However the food was uneven. One dish was too salty and another was too bland. everything else was tasty. Our favorites were the tandoori chicken and the snow peas. I could not prepare food at home for what we spent at the restaurant. The servings were huge, a great value for the money. At the end of our meal we were given two complementary mini cakes. They were very tasty. I would give them a 3.75 to 4 out of 5 stars"
