  • "We had an enjoyable meal, much better than the last time. Mainly because we custom order our entrees. The spinach salad got an addition of tasty grilled salmon, the mahi tacos were even more delicious once we lost the "blackened". We liked the presentation of the three tacos on their unique tray and the sauces were a plus. Other than not having an option for ice cream, the dessert offerings were rescued by a fabulous array array of parfait selections."

When we dined there on a Saturday night, we found the menu was not extensive but had enough choices to make everyone happy, and the chef had a special selection area that included the Copper River Salmon which is available only a few weeks a year and 3 of us ordered it and we were pleased with the entree and the sides that the chef prepared"

  • "I was visiting San Diego and went to dinner with a friend who lives there and loves Seasons 52. I had never been to one of their restaurants. We sat outside so I can't rate the indoor ambience or noise level but it was a nice patio. The food was good but what really stood out was the service. The wait staff was very nice and although we are not the most demanding people in the world, still, everything we asked, they did with smiles that looked genuine."

  • "We took our visiting cousin to dinner at the Seasons 52 in San Diego. We have dined at other locations of this restaurant and knew, food wise, what to expect. the meals were all prepared quite well and tasted wonderful. I know it's summer in San Diego and restaurants can be crowded, as Seasons was that night. However, I continue to be annoyed by the noise level at such popular places. It's not the restaurant's fault (well, except they could design their spaces with more baffles for noise). Our server was gracious but got our coffee order wrong because he couldn't hear over the din."

  • "Two guests and I shared a quick lunch the other day and the food was served quickly and very tasty. All three of us had salads - Crabmeat wedge, Maui Ahi Tuna, and Barbeque Chicken. Great combos, dressings, lettuce and flavors. And the portions are generous."

  • "The filet mignon was excellent. Perfect center and so tender. The snap peas were firm, but not dry. The mashed potatoes were creamy. And the tomatoes were ripe and juicy. The cabernet sauvignon (Ladera) that we had with the food was pretty good. I'm not a fan of spicy wine, so it was the best choice without breaking the $100 mark."

  • "Wonderful ambience - lots of wood and nice palette. Was quiet until large, noisy group arrived and we requested a move to outside patio. Very accommodating staff. Food was just ok. Menu choices are eclectic and interesting. Worth trying at least once. Chain restaurant - some better than others. Scallops were probably best choice. Lobster flatbread too salty. Great location!"

  • "I enjoy the Seasons 52 service at UTC, but the service at Seasons 52 San Diego - The Headquarters was anything but desirable. My mom had never been to the restaurant and I made reservations for us to have a nice dinner prior to the fireworks. The server took forever to bring us water, after about twenty-five minutes, he came back to take our order. I had to flag him down for a coffee refill. I won't go back to this location."

You get 3 samples of wine and a full pour of the one you like best, along with one of their excellent flatbread appetizers. A great way to start the evening! Finish off with one of the mini desserts.   • "This is our fourteenth visit to Seasons 52 to celebrate the birthday of a close friend. The wine was terrific - wonderful choice off the happy hour menu - the sommelier makes some terrific discoveries at great affordable prices. Our choice was the cabernet, but all of the wines in the red wine flight are exceptional. The trout and Maui tuna salad were excellent along with the chicken chili and lobster tail. The desserts never miss and are just the right size for the last indulgence."

So glad he is back on Wednesday evenings, the day we like to dine there. Missed him for a few months! Trout was excellent as were the scallops and filet.   • "Celebrated my friend's birthday at Season's 52 and knew it would be good. Robert T., the waiter, was especially good and made sure we were well taken care of. We wanted a bottle of wine and wasn't sure of our choice between two wines so he brought to the table a taste of each so we would not be disappointed with our choice. The salmon was excellent and so were the scallops. Dessert is always nice there too....any one of them! We have been eating at Season's 52 since it opened in town and will continue to go there."
