This was the first time I felt Seasons 52 didn't meet their usual standards. Music was very loud so conversation was hard to engage. Sprouts were hard and chewy. Service was sloppy bring main meal when plates had yet to be cleared from the table.

No service existence. One server with serious attitude, waited a long time for the check and asked another server for the check, she said she was busy. Took the check with an attitude. We are from California and the seasons 52 at south coast plaza does not act like this. This location gives seasons 52 a bad name and makes us not want to patron this restaurant again.

Once you enter the doors , one feels relaxed immediately and ready to enjoy a refreshing glass of wine while cruising the featured appetizers. Your selection isn't a challenge because every item will meet your expectation. Their en-trey are exceptional and leaves you with a feeling of fine dining without being stuff, especially when you realized that your meal had less than 500 calories. This alone brings smiles of joy. What more can one say, than lets always explorer the doors of Season 52.

Dinner was very tasty-- and only 475 calories. From the Lobster Flat Bread to the Fresh Fish with Meyer Lemons perfectly prepared and presented The gluten free choices were also a wonderful addition. Excellent Wine selection, the tiny desert treats, and the impeccable service. We return again and again!

Everything tasted great and perfect portions. Make sure to order the $15-20 wine flight. You receive a flatbread, 3 pours of wine to taste (generous pours) and choose one of the 3 to have in addition. The swordfish I had was flavorful. Scallops seemed to be a hit. I loved the mushroom soup. Will go again.

Seasons 52 has great foot. We sat near the bar/piano lounge and it was just a bit noisy. If you want less noise level area then request to be seated away from the bar. The pianist/singer sounded great, it's just that my friend and I wanted to discuss his overseas trip in detail. We ordered stuffed mushrooms, as an appetizer along with a salad of greens for myself. I ordered grilled sea bass and he ordered filet mignon. I also ordered an extra vegetable dish or brussel sprouts to share. It was all good and our plates were clean. We each had a dessert, which was just large enough to top off the meal.

Seasons 52 is probably my favorite restaurant, and I would go more often if I could afford it. The service was excellent, I was on a tight lunch schedule and they accommodated that nicely. The fall menu is delicious and the lobster shortbread was a taste treat and the swordfish was perfect. I recommend Seasons 52 to all who ask or will listen. I asked for a quiet table and they accommodated that as well as they could in a very busy restaurant. I paid for half a shortbread (I split it with a friend) and all of the swordfish meal, and had water to drink. My lunch bill with 20% tip was $32. This is my lunch budget for four days, so I can only visit Seasons 52 a couple of times a year. Pity.

My trout was very good. However, the starter flatbreads were not memorable, nor were the desserts. I have eaten here many times and felt it was a "go to" place. This trip was with a large group for a luncheon celebration. I was not impressed and I felt it was overpriced for what we received. Seasons 52 looks more and more like a "cookie cutter" food chain. Not running Bach any time soon.

I always enjoy coming Here. The bartenders and waitstaff are great. The only problem I had this visit, was that I made it clear I don't like plain vegetables, and only enjoy grilled or roasted, maybe sautéed to the point of a little crispy browness. The waiter described how the skillet veggies are baked and they would be as I described. The veggies were roasted in a cast iron vessel, but they were hard with no color or flavor. Need to leave them in much longer! Also, super disappointed about my OpenTable points. I made the reservations for 5:30 as 1,000-point table. Running late and changed it to 6:00 while out. Had no clue I only earned 100 points. Reserve at pricey places for 1000 points, will take 9 more reg pts meals to earn that much.
