She is a vegetarian; I will eat almost anything; so it is great that we agree on this restaurant. We have been to the Altamonte Springs S-52, but Sand Lake S-52 has more inside ambience and better outside scenery/view.
Good friends joined us on our 36th Anniversary. We arrived on time and were shown to a great booth location. Will, our server explained the wine list and great food info including specials along the right side of the menu. We order wine and a hummus appetizer. Next, my wife ordered Vegetarian Tasting; I had a tomato/hass salad and trout; our friends had salmon, caesar salad and trout. Will comped our desserts!!

My husband had never been to your restaurant and views are important to us. The manager put a table in once we were ok with being in a room with noisy groups. It was great, my husband enjoyed the food as much as I raved about it and it was lovely to sit on the patio and see the view. They have finally converted their outside patio into an enclosed area. Whilst the AC is a plus and you have less hassle with moskitos, it is really rather noise in there. So for a more private setting with "normal" noise levels you may want to stay in the

The service was very good as well without being overbearing or intrusive while we dined. The food was well prepared. We enjoyed edamame, hummus, and goat cheese ravioli for appetizers. The vegetables served with the entrees were just as tasty as the meat. I had the pork tenderloin and recommend it. The mini desserts were brought on a tray right to the table which made choosing easier and the whole process faster. After appetizer, main course, and dessert, I was quite full. I am not a health food fanatic but I appreciated how healthy the menu options were. The ambiance was excellent and food was cooked perfectly. My fiends ordered the salmon and chicken dishes and I ordered steak. It's hard to believe everything is under 475 calories, yet so flavorful. The steak and surrounding cast of veggies were tender and succulent. For dessert we ordered the key lime minis and they were delish. Great graham cracker crust layered between lush, tart, and sweet key lime mousse (I think it was mousse?). Our server was Niki W and she was by far the best server that any of us have had any restaurant in years. I had a side of the grilled corn on the cob, this ,however, was waterey, and over cooked. I won't order that again! We were seated in a booth in the bar. The bar was crowded and noisy. There was an AC draft hitting our table that kept my date with goosebumps most of the evening 2. A nearby table or two with larger crowds generating too much noise. We had the Greek flatbread that was excellent and just enough to leave room for the meal. Our 2 entrees were carmelized sea scallops with fresh asparagus and polenta. We would go back for this. Tried the chicken skewers and the different flavor hummus w/dippers from the appetizer menu. Well worth it. The crispy ahi tuna salad had beautiful presentation and the ahi seared just perfectly! We shared a tasty chocolate/peanut butter dessert. Can't go wrong for $2.50 and not much guilt!! The outdoor area has been enclosed and beautifully done! We will be back Seasons 52.
