Diner Reviews
  • "Both my husband and I love this restaurant because it features healthy, low calorie food that is tasty and expertly prepared."

  • "I had read good reviews about Seasons so I had pretty decent expectations when I booked a Sunday lunch with my wife there. We were both very impressed with the menu and the service. Food was delicious and well presented. We look forward to going back."

  • "Who cares that the entrees are less than 475 calories? The food is fabulous. The low calorie is a bonus. Very fresh and interesting without being pretentious. The mini indulgence desserts are perfect after a mean. Service outstanding. A bit loud even at a "quiet table" so keep that in mind and this is when it was not crowded so beware."

  • "The menu is always unique. Food quality was super good. Ryan our waiter was great, helpful and respectful about how much time to spend at the table. Have been here many times, and this trip reconfirmed we will keep going back. Surprise value was a flight of wines for $15 which included a Flatbread, and a full glass of your favorite wine from the flight! Awesome? YES!"

  • " arrived at 5:30 and 6:22 going home. We were shown to a table near the kitchen although it was not crowded I refused and was given another one. The food is good, salad was brought closely followed by the entre the potato I had 2 small pieces the fish portion was large, very tasty. My husband expected peas but didn't expect them to be still be in the pod. I like the server bringing the bottle of wine to the table so I could see what I ordered. We each ordered a dessert, barely put my spoon down and the empty dish was whisked away. The next thing the bill was on the table. We felt somewhat rushed. I have eaten lunch at the Schaumburg location and did not have that rushed feeling we had here. There was no one waiting for a table."

  • "I have been here before, but it was the first time I took my husband. Our server Joey was extremely attentive and did an excellent job. The food was really fresh and it also was a great value. My husband was very impressed and he said that we'll return in the future."

  • "I was skeptical about trying the Seasons 52 summer menu. I was so happy we came, and they did not disappoint."

  • "food and service are always excellent -- we have been there 8 times and never come away without saying we shuld go more often"

  • "Our second time here both times great food & great service."

  • "Seasons 52 is great place to dine after shopping at Oak Brook Mall, meeting up with a friend, or celebrating a special occasion. Our server was new and she was delightful. We had a hard time narrowing down food choices - there were so many interesting items. We both settled on the flatbreads - one lobster and one duck. We especially enjoyed the dessert choices. We plan on visiting again when the menu changes for the Fall season."

  • "I had dined at Seasons 52 in the past, both times in the bar area. Since I did not have a reservation on either occasion, we were told to sit in the lounge and wait for the first available booth. The problem with that is that it is hard to enjoy your drink and the music at the bar when you are constantly waiting for a booth to become available. This third time I made reservations assuming I would be escorted directly to the dining room and was taken to the lounge. I asked if the dining room was closed and the hostess said no, did I want to be seated there. Logistics aside, I love the flatbreads, the seasonal menu, the specialty drinks ( although they are too pricey) and the mini desserts. Also the wine list is well chosen. I will return."

  • "Love the concept of their restaurant of having seasonal menus and that they change their specials once a week! Had the ahi tuna salad and it was delicious! Would definitely recommend this restaurant to a foodie!!"

  • "The flat breads keep us returning for more. Love the changing menu. We always feel so welcome."

  • "ONE OF MY FAVORITE RESTAURANTS. GREAT FOOD AND WINE; FOOD IS CALORIE CONSCIOUS. GREAT SERVICE AND ATMOSPHERE."
    Dined on 8/10/2014
  • "Can't beat eating well on a calorie budget. Usually offer decent wines and an interesting signature cocktail or two, though they were missing a key ingredient and couldn't make me the one I ordered. I did not suffer. Typically good meal in a very nice atmosphere."

  • "As a first time diner with Season 52, I truly enjoyed the experience"

  • "We had an amazing dinner everything was delicious and filling but not over filling. Our server, Jaime, was extremely knowledgeable and provided valuable answers and guidance for our first visit. We will definitely be back!!"

  • "Nice upscale ambience and interesting menu. We were note aware that every dish is 475 calories or less, so that was a pleasant surprise. Good portions, fair pricing, but mediocre quality, (trout overdone, veggies underdone) Attentive service without annoyance. Good wine selection and the server had some informed advice on pairings. Great choice if you're staying nearby, but also try JR Alexanders."

  • "I love the food at Seasons 52 and the restaurant is lovely. For a second time we arrived at 5pm on a friday night. The piano player is in place and its so NOT crowded. We asked via Open Table for a booth in the bar area & were seated directly across from an area where servers were being trained so maybe 5 people plus the trainer 3 ft from us and lotsa yacking noise. I am trying to unwind from work week from hell and its not happeningUGH. We ordered some Brut which helped and the lobster flatbread is THE BEST. Scallops are perfect."

  • "Atmosphere was great, service was very good, wine was very good but the food was not so good. My chicken dinner was very dry, overcooked and tasteless. Other menu items that were below par included a salad dressing which tasted like the chef was trying to be creative but left out the taste and appeal. A flat bread appetizer was overcooked, tasteless and lacked creativeness. Might go back for the bar scene but not the food."

  • "Tasty, well-prepared, creative entrees but overpriced for lunch."

  • "We've enjoyed Seasons52 in Naples quite a few times, and figured it would be a touch act to follow. However, the Oakbrook version is just as good. The wine list was well thought-out, fairly priced and generally a good value. The flatbreads are out of this world. I had the grilled trout, and have never had anything that compared. Skin-on, completely boneless with grill marks on the flesh. Generous portion too! As a side, try the carmelized corn, onions and bacon! My wife had wild-caught tuna that was excellent. Tried to pass on the dessert "shots" but they looked too good to miss. Wonderful attentive service by Mike and his assistants. Can't wait to go back."

  • "Seasons 52 remains one of my favorite restaurants. As the name suggests, the menu changes with the season and the choices are varied and well prepared. I had grilled trout with carrots and potatoes which was done perfectly. The other members of my party all enjoyed their meals as well. Add to that the fact that everything item on the menu is 475 calories or less and the delicious small desserts(just enough to satisfy your sweet tooth) and it's obvious why Seasons 52 is a winner."

  • "I ordered a lemon drop martini and mentioned to the server that I am on the hunt for a perfect martini. He was enthusiastic to participate and was sure that Seasons would win. The martini came proportions were off, it was very favoring the vodka, clear color ,little lemon juice was used. My guests sample the drink and they did agree. When the server arrived and inquired- i communicated to him exactly as I have just written- his response was deadpan, nothing. No attempt to replace, redo nor was the drink cost taken off the final bill. I do not like creating an uncomfortable situation in front of my guests, so I did not aggressively pursue- I do think more assertiveness and better customer service on behalf of the server was needed."

  • "Our first time for us. Celebrating my husband b- day with friends. Music is so loud and not propriet for this place. So cold, bring a sweater! Also bring a flash light for reading your menu. But don't worry, when desserts come, servers use theirs!!! I and my friend got our food first and then we had to wait for some time when rest of the table (5 people) get theirs. So our food got cold. Food is ok. I love all the restaurants in OB, this is a first one I will not go back to!"

  • "The food was OK but if one wishes to have a conversation with ones date, the noise level was excessive."
    Dined on 8/2/2014
  • "This was my 3rd time to Season's 52. Food is consistently good. The main dining area is very noisy. My first trip, i asked to be reseated in the rear dining room and the experience was pleasant. That area was not yet open on Sat since we had early reservations. The music was too loud and was a distraction to the enjoyment of the dinner. I'd recommend a better selection of music and lower volume when the place is crowded."

  • "Had a wonderful dinner experience. Went to celebrate a birthday and enjoy dinner and a glass of wine. Loved the special gestures made by Seasons 52 to celebrate! Another wonderful night at Seasons 52!"

  • "Back again at Seasons 52 with another couple and it was a great choice. Lobster flatbread was delicious each bite had lobster. First time we tried the goat cheese bacon flatbread was just ok but I am not a big fan of goat cheese. Our party ordered lamb chops, filet mignon, and scallops. Scallops were perfect, filet melted in the mouth and lamb chops were delicious. One small misstep was a wine that tasted like vinegar and the waitress Carol did not hesitate to bring another. All in all, a good evening, 4 people appetizers, 2 bottles of wine, one person drinking cocktails plus 4 entrees under $200. Definitely recommend!"

  • "HAVE DINED AT ANOTHER SEASONS 52 3-4 TIMES BEFORE BUT NEVER AT THIS LOCATION. FOUND THE NOISE LEVEL TO BE MUCH TO LOUD AND THE ROOM WAS TO COOL TO BE COMFORTABLE. THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD AND PRESENTED BEAUTIFULLY. SERVICE WAS GOOD."

  • "I had lunch here with a group of friends - the menu was wonderful - many choices - great flatbreads! Our waiter, Tim, was most attentive, funny, gave great advice about the menu, and could, in detail, describe all the choices in the menu, so that we ordered what was just right for each of us. Wonderful, mini-desserts - about 10 different choices. I'd definitely dine here again."

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our evening, we had a great server, the appetizers were outstanding, cold wine, and the filet was mouth watering. I love that I can eat here and not have a guilty conscience afterward or bloated feeling. Its nice to have a place that you can go to when you are trying to Eat Clean and take care of yourself. My only "complaint" is that they do tend to be a little pricey. I think 11.00 for 1 glass of wine is kinda ridiculous. Otherwise I love the color scheme, and overall layout of the place. At night it is cozy and a romantic kind of atmosphere."

  • "This was my first time at Signature 52. The ambience was nice (a little dark though), our waiter Tony was Great. The only problem was that the Organa items we wanted they were out of, the scallops and the plank salmon. I was very disappointed in that, it was the first time i had experienced such a thing. Overall the food we did eat was great."

  • "An overall great experience. Bartender (Tim) makes a great old fashioned. Food was amazing. Place is becoming a favorite to return to again. Lamb was terrific."

  • "I brought my Grand-daughter here for her 12th birthday and it was a great time for her, our server Mike was wonderful and attentive and it was her 1st time here. Thank-you"

  • "This was our second trip to this location and we were not disappointed. The main menu changes with the seasons, but they also have an additional menu that changes every few weeks. My husband had a Brazzini fish that was excellent and my steak was cooked perfectly. We especially loved the grilled corn/onion skillet side. And as for desserts, at $2.75 for a six bite portion and a wide selection of sweet treats, you can't go wrong. Just the right size to cap off a delicious meal!"

  • "I have been to all the Seasons 52 locations around Chicago and the food is fantasic as it always is. Service is what changes, for some reason this location is always so slow, didn't mind since we were having dinner with friends but definitely don't plan on this being a quick dinner."

  • "We had an awesome time celebrating an 82nd birthday with 6 friends. Food was fantastic, wine was sublime, music was entertaining. Can't wait to go back again. First time I was aware that all of the entree's were low calorie. Left some space for delicious and small, just perfect sized dessert. Service was very attentive."

  • "I was happy to find a restaurant that offered so many healthier choices. Pleasant décor - good waitstaff - good food. Prices were reasonable, too."
