  • Great restaurant with flat food
    OpenTable Diner Since 2010
    Dined on 11/22/2014
It's a beautiful setting. The service was prompt....almost annoying at times......continued to check to make sure everything was ok, and food was to our liking. We found the food to be too bland for our taste. We started with the Tuna Tartare appetizer. It was just ok. We had a side order of the Carmelized Brussel Sprouts. They were mushy and bland. We both had the filet mignon steaks with mashed potatoes. The steaks were excellent. Our waiter brought a small tray of bite size desserts. It's a great idea. Just enough to satisfy that need for something sweet. They are very conscious of keeping calories down. I liked that. We don't need to go back though. It was just ok. Too many restaurants in Dallas to try.

I frequent Trulucks while in Dallas and the location cant be beat. That said the food and ambiance at Seasons 52 was much better and the food was very very similar. All said I cannot see myself spending 50% more at Trulucks for a similar food product and lesser dining experience.

    Dined on 11/21/2014
Menu is very limited and needs more selections. Asked for refill on drinks 4 times and never got it, despite the server setting up a table next to us, ADD or just lousy server. Ordered filet, not bad for the price, but no comparison to Bobs Steakhouse or JR steaks. Needs updating. Still a very beautiful setting.

I always love dining at Seasons 52. The ambiance is lively and upscale, but not so loud that you can't have a nice conversation. I had the scallops with the butternut squash risotto and our table shared the carmelized Brussels sprouts. Both were very fresh and delicious! Our server provided excellent service. She was not "buggy" at all, treated us like we were old friends, and was always available if we needed anything. Can't wait for my next visit to Seasons 52!

It is my favorite restaurant and I enjoy introducing friends to it! From when you walk in the door until you leave, they make you feel special, food is incredible (can't believe it is all under 425 calories) and presented so well. I really like the ever-changing menu with fresh seasonal choices. Our server this week was Sasha and she was wonderful!! Dining at Seasons 52 is always a positive experience:)

We love Seasons 52 at Northpark and dine there quite regularly with friends. I'm a Vegan and it's really nice to have so many menu options in such an upscale restaurant. The bar menu also has a nice selection of great cocktails. We tried their New Old Fashion for the first time and it was exceptional with an amazing presentation. I highly recommend it. The staff is always very freindly and helpful and the service is top notch. This is a great restaurant to have a nice dining evening out.

Nice place to eat, good concept. Be careful what you order the bartenders will give you the most expensive wine if you dont ask for a specific one. And, be careful when your order a wine theres only one letter difference between the more expensive wine and the cheapest. Learned that the hard way.

  • Friday Night Dinner

    Dined on 11/14/2014
I booked this restaurant for a Friday night dinner with a gorgeous lady I have been seeing. I was greeted warmly at the door, it was 34 degrees outside, and the staff was kind as well. We selected an appetizer and Brekke gave us a wonderful wine pairing to accompany the phenomenal Lobster flatbread. Dinner ensued shortly after with a perfectly prepared Branzino for myself and Swordfish dish for her. Both of us were blown away by the chefs preparation of the fish and overall execution of the dishes. Shortly after, we were greeted with the desserts in shot glasses, by far the most flavor for the quantity. All around wonderful meal and atmosphere for the location.

  • Dallas location a little disappointing
    OpenTable Diner Since 2009
    Dined on 11/14/2014
The food, as always, was wonderful. However, this was my first time at the NorthPark location and I was disappointed. It felt much more rushed than the Plano location, where I usually go. Although we had a reservation and the restaurant was not crowded, I was surprised to be seated in the bar without asking if that was OK or if we preferred to be in the dining room. When we ordered dinner, the waiter did not ask if we wanted salad or appetizer, we had to call him back to get salads. The waiter was polite and efficient, but just did not seem invested in making sure the entire experience was top notch.

    Dined on 11/12/2014
Our server never got it together, I had to ask more than once for simple things like a straw, a black napkin. She asked if we had a time table, we did. She apparently paid no attention to that because our clients were walking out the door, one with the dessert she ordered to go and the other empty handed even though she had also ordered dessert to go. It wasn't delivered to the table and we were all stanidn next to our chairs for at least five minutes waiting while the server paid us no mind.

I set up the reservation with a note that it was my sister's birthday. Every other time I have come for a birthday, they mention it. I don't want a free dessert, but a "Happy Birthday" would be nice. A candle in the dessert would be nice. Since they were not acknowledging her birthday, I went bold and said it was her birthday. Nothing. Then there was the food, I ordered the lamb rare. No such luck. It came medium. I've stopped sending food back because then she eats while I wait, then she waits while I eat. So I took her out, took the food home and tried to salvage it. No go. Luckily it was an inexpensive meal. I guess you get what you pay for. Jack was personable, but when two women go out to dinner.....

We've dined with 52 many times -- lunch and dinner. Always completely nice. Reception and payed valet parking a real plus. Waiter always pleasant and prompt. Food always very nice -- good quality, not too much presentation and foolishness. Portions generous, always adequate. Food quality very good. Seafood always fresh and well done. 52 is a great "all-purpose" experience. Nothing over-done and always nice. Prices are perfectly commensurate with the experience. You don't leave feeling fleeced.

    Dined on 11/7/2014
While that was my first thought, I had already been to the other in a strip mall in Plano, so while fine dining is not associated with mall food, this is an exception. Fresh ingredients is never a bad way to start introducing a meal. I had the pork tenderloin and dining companion had the quail. Two sides were ordered - bacon sprouts and butternut squash. The food was flavorful and well prepared. All-in-all a good experience.

We had a nice quiet anniversary lunch. We had some food restrictions and all of our questions were answered, but I ended up not having the first thing I thought to order. I had the trout and it was delicious and stuffed afterwards. My husband had salmon and he felt it was not done all the way through, the middle was more mushy than flaky. Over all it was a good experience. I hand a hard time finding something to order, while the food was good there were not unique items — things I couldn't cook at home — half a chicken, rainbow trout, so perhaps we need to steer away from "American" restaurants. I was told I should have tried a flat bread, that they are filling and delicious.

I've eaten at this restaurant several for lunch and dinner. When I received my confirmation call, I was asked if this is a special occasion and I replied yes, then described the occasion. During our lunch, our server never brought up the special occasion. I asked her about it, she said she didn't know what to do therefore she did nothing and was rather cavalier in her response. Her actions and lack of service was extremely disappointing and for that I'm rating the service as "Poor" and the overall rating as "Good". Service is just as important as the food.
