We'd almost written this restauarant off. Food in recent years had neen okay and service so-so at best. This visit was a pleasant surprice. The food was very good & the service outstanding. Our server had been trained by the server we used to love who had left, but I listened to and observed other servers who seemed to be providing a whole new level of service.

We were a little shaky at first that we would have a long delay but were seat on time! Server, Phillip was excellent! Food and wine were both delicious. I knew exactly what I wanted as soon as I saw the wine list. It was extremely busy but the staff did not miss a beat!

The restaurant was running an hour behind on reservations. We found a table in the bar instead of waiting for the extra hour. We had the best service from Princess! I think because they were so busy the food was ok at best. We've been to Seasons 52 many times and this has never happened.

I've eaten at Seasons 52 countless times and this was the 1st time they were an hour behind in seating. We opted to sit at the bar while waiting for a text telling us our table was ready. It turned out that text never came (despite confirming my cell #), because the restaurant accidentally texted people who had already been seated. While on another occasion this would have upset me, it actually turned out for the best, since the live music and bartenders were AWESOME (thanks for tutor yummy free drinks because of the mishap!). We had a blast singing along with the other patrons and the food was delicious. While sitting at the bar, we made another Open Table reservation at Seasons 52 for next month. Looking forward to returning many times!

We were 4 for dinner. Needed to be out of there by 7:30 to be at a show at the Strathmore by 8:00 pm. We were served our drinks after being there for 30 minutes. Never served the meals we ordered in the hour's time. Left hungry and barely in time for our show. The worst experience in dining i've had in decades.

I noted on the reservation that it was my wife's birthday. When we arrived the hostess greeted us with Happy Birthday. We were seated right away in an out of the way 2 person booth. Waiter provided a vegetarian menu for my wife which was nice. It was busy. We could have used another minute to review the menus but did not feel rushed. Courses were well spaced out. Food was hot and well presented. We had warm olive appetizer (not bad but had pits so probably would not order again). Field green salad was good. Main course was scallops (nice portion and tasty) and rainbow trout (good but could have used a light sauce or something). Both meals could have benefited from more or different veggies. We both enjoyed our meals and dessert.

Celebrated my daughter's 17th birthday. As soon as we sat down they presented her with a card, thanking her for sharing the evening there. Followed by a champagne toast (non-alcoholic for her, of course). Very good meal, followed by dessert on the house (waiter comped us All!) - then a photo of the family was taken and presented as we left, with a wine glass. Nice touch!

Dined at Seasons 52 in North Bethesda on a relatively busy Wednesday night. The food is consistently good there and was that night. We checked in a few minutes early for our 7:15 reservation and were essentially forgotten until I went back to the desk to ask when we would be seated. They asked for my name again and sat us. While we waited, several parties walked in without reservations and were told there would be a 30-40 minute wait. Some left, others went to the bar. As we dined, there were tables open that never were filled. We were there until 9 PM, by which time the place was half empty. Seemed strange that hostesses would not know that tables were available.

I was pleasantly surprised with my recent dining experience at Seasons 52. They have a complimentary valet service which is always handy for a good restaurant. Everything went perfect, from the moment I was sat down by the host, to the tableside service by the friendly waitress, and the food arriving on time. The menu has a wide variety of selections, all made from fresh ingredients that conform to the season of the year (hence the name). This is a great restaurant in the north Bethesda/Rockville area and I am definitely going to return.

We went to Seasons 52 to celebrate my husband's first year in business, and they made us feel very special. At first we were seated alone in a side room. Other groups joined us and it still remained relatively quiet. We combined our dining experience with an evening at the theater and our waitress was very cognizant of our need to get out on time. Service was expedited without beingl rushed and they even gave us a small champagne toast to herald our special event. As always, the food was excellent and the portions ample without being overwhelming. Alas, we had to miss dessert, which is a treat at Seasons 52!

Seasons 52's 2014 fall menu is full of great combinations of meats or other entrees with excellent sides and flavors. If you like mushrooms cooked in any way, you'll enjoy how the chef has included them in much of this season's menu. The stuffed mushroom appetizer is great example: a savory baked combination of mushrooms, shrimp, spinach, and cheese. We also enjoyed the planked salmon and the roasted quail entrees. And we have to commend Katherine for her cheerfully helpful service; while all servers here surely get very good training, I expect few deliver that information and the food with as much joy as she did -- thanks!

Every time I go to Seasons 52 I have an amazing experience and cant wait to return again. This time it was my birthday and the waiter so thoughtfully brought me a card and a rose when he found out it was my birthday. He was also able to recommend his favorite dishes and drinks which meant a lot in choosing what to order. Additionally, I do not eat meat or dairy and I love going to Seasons 52 because I am confident they know and can tell me what is in the food and how it is prepared; not to mention the amazing seasonal menus! The food is fresh, tasty and presented well. Looking forward to going back.

We went this past Friday night on the later side. Our food took forever to get and we just ordered appetizers and a salad. We asked for the bill when our server brought desert and it sat waiting for 15 minutes before we asked another server to take it. The managers seemed to know the service was really slow but they need to fix the problem. There is a lot of staff and they are friendly but there is a disconnect somewhere between the servers and the kitchen. The flatbread was lukewarm which means it had sat and the other was a salad which means the kitchen either did not time things well or our server wasn't good. Our bill was $80 for 3 appetizers 2 glasses of wine and 2 deserts which seems high given the food and the service.

Seasons 52 claims to change the menu every week, but the main menu only changes quarterly or so. The service was exceptional by all employees. The curved bar is great for getting started, with a live singer on several evenings. Personally, I think the waiters talk too long about daily specials, and the weekly menu concept, but waiter service is very good. My date had a filet mignon, which she enjoyed. I had a turkey skewer, which had very good flavor, but was a little dry and overcooked. But I would order the turkey skewer again. The menu includes a lot of seafood. I prefer non-seafood, but I enjoyed the salmon when I had it once.

Nice restaurant, with nice bar where you can relax a little before dinner. Nice ambience; good music from the piano player who uses his own arrangements. Restaurant itself has a good quiet feel to it. The menu is nice with lots of good food to choose from. Everything we had was very good to excellent. The flatbreads are a great way to start; the soups are good, the trout was excellent and the veggies were as good as you will get anywhere around, with the menu geared to the seasons and the availability of often local foods. Lots of healthy eating choices and lots of less healthy choices. Good food, nice selection, good wines, good service.

the food was good, but not outstanding. I had the quail, because they were out of lamb. had the lobster appetizer (recommended by waiter), but the dish consisted of mini-pizzas and the lobster couldnt be tasted. we chose the wine recommended by the sommelier. it was a decent cabernet, but again nothing special, despite not being cheap ($ 86). makes me wonder about the rest of their wine list. their wine list has only young wines on it, not much older than 2-3 years, so pretty limited that way. service was slowish and somewhat discoordinated. food came first; had to ask for the wine so that we wouldn't eat without it.

My wife's birthday, I asked to note this when I made reservations, I called to verify this was noted & when they called to confirm I reminded again. We arrived & all I expected was a happy bday to her to acknowledge but nothing. Waitress seemed to force friendly, although she tried. Food took a very long time and was cold when it arrived. Steak was chewy. It's a beautiful place, menu items look and sound amazing, but something was lost in the delivery. They apologized for the service. I think this was just a bad night for them, I would try again, however I chose them for a special occasion and they did not come through at all. it was just disappointing that I could not give her an amazing night for her special day.

Four of us had a very good meal here early (6pm) on a Saturday night, as we had 8pm tickets at the Strathmore. The server was great about making sure we got our bill on time. Appetizers were good: sushi and avocado roll, tuna tartar, & herb crusted mozzarella over tomatoes. The flat bread "sticks" that came with appetizers were fantastic (not sure if they come standard or only came with the tuna tartar). Entrees: Steak salad was great and the right size after filling appetizers. Pork tenderloin was delicious. Only let-down was the lump crab over lettuce, which was pretty boring and flavorless. We didn't have dessert, but I love the idea of the mini desserts and will try one next time. Valet parking is good for several hours.
