Diner Reviews
  • "Everything from the food to the service to the ambiance was great! It is also a wine bar so they have a fantastic selection to pair with any of the food they offer."

  • "Our waiter, James, really added to our experience in that he knows a lot about food preparation, wines, and spirits! And the food was great! "

  • "They sat us by the front door. Too cold and to much noise!"

  • "I have been to Seasons 52 on two occasions. I went to the Tyson's location for lunch and the North Bethesda restaurant for a birthday dinner. The food was delicious. The flat breads are great appetizers and the entrees are all fresh healthy selections. The mini deserts are a nice end to a healthy meal under 475 calories. The seasons theme is very trendy in today's health conscious society. The wine list has great selections and the ambiance is conducive for family friendly dining. I look forward to returning to this gem of a restaurant. "

  • "My family of four had dinner at Seasons 52 North Bethesda and many different items were ordered. A real standout for me was the goat cheese ravioli in tomato broth served as an appetizer but quite a large portion. All of us enjoyed everything brought to the table. It was a great night at a restaurant which is consistently good food and good service. "

  • "We celebrated my birthday at Seasons 52 on Rockvikle Oike and they made me feel like a star! We were welcomed with a birthday card, then amuse Boucher picture taken and delivered in paper frame, white rose and finally birthday dessert. Wow, can't wait to celebrate there again"

  • "Had to get out of the house during a power outage this week during the last of our spring ice/snow/rain storm. Went for an early dinner; very quiet at that time of day. Service was great; manager stopped by twice to check on us; and the food was very good. Enjoyed the appetizer $8.95 lobster tail along with a spinach salad for a very satisfying meal. Also enjoyed the special lobster flatbread as a shared appetizer. My husband had the cedar plank salmon, and enjoyed it."

  • "The food is consistently interesting, delicious, and perfectly prepared and presented. The service is friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is pleasant and conducive to conversation. They sometimes have a musician at the piano bar, and all the ones I've heard have been talented, and the volume is ideal for listening without interfering with easy conversation with your dinner companions."

  • "We went to celebrate a birthday and they did not disappoint. The food selection was great and the service was attentive. We were given complimentary sparkling wine and an appetizer tasting that was delicious...compliments of the chef! At one point they thought they were out of milk for the cappuccino, which was no big deal (glad they told us), but then came back with a cappuccino anyway as they said they found some milk! All entrees were described wonderfully...substitutions were made without issue (including gluten free options)...and wine was suggested very appropriately to what everyone was eating. We'll definitely return soon!"

  • "My boyfriend and I went to Seasons 52 last Friday for our 4 year Anniversary dinner. We are from the area so we have seen the signs a million times but never actually been inside of the restaurant. The decor is great - very modern but still warm feeling through out the whole restaurant. We had to wait 10 minutes although showed up 5 minutes early for our reservation slot - BUT the ambiance was great & they had a live piano player in the bar so we did not mind. After being seated, we were greeted by a very nice waitress - and from there all was absolutely great. Everything from the martini I had, the appetizer, our entree's, and the dessert's were absolutely fabulous. We both agreed this is probably 1 of the top 3 meals we have ever had."

  • "I really enjoy Seasons 52's food (and their desire to provide good food that doesn't break the "calorie bank") and the ambience, but this Saturday night, it was very noisy. Although I had requested a quiet table so that we could catch-up with family from out of town, we were placed on a well-traveled corner, and my husband's chair was knocked into regularly. The food was still good - though delivered from the kitchen slowly (as is sometimes the case). But, the waiter kindly comped our desserts and coffee, after ordering. He was also knew the menu well and steered us to some good selections. I will still return, but will avoid busy times (like Saturday nights) in favor of quieter times."

  • "The waitress was awesome. She provided our food on time and checked on us from time to time. The food was delicious and the cook should receive kudos for the awesome food and presentation. The only concern was that we arrived early to avoid the traffic in the Washington D.C. area. Our appointment was at 7:45 p.m. but we arrived at 6:25 p.m. and waited until 7:41 p.m. to be seated. This the first time in my three experiences that I waited more than a hour to be seated. The experience makes me wonder if I could wait again that long for the delicious food and service from the waitress."

  • "It was our first time there and I chose this restaurant based on recommendations from some close friends. I am so glad I did! My husband and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and this place knows how to do it right! ( I did tell the restaurant we were celebrating when I made the reservation.) From the moment we walked in, the hostess was wishing us a happy anniversary, and so was everyone else. we were surprised to see 2 glasses of champagne waiting for us, with a card, at our table and the surprises didn't stop there. The head chef came out and introduced himself and gave us a sample of one of the appetizers. And the manager, Jason, came by numerous times throughout the evening making sure everything was going well."

  • "My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at seasons 52. From the moment we were seated we were treated like guests of honor. We received champagne and a card to start the evening. What a kind gesture! From beginning to end the service was impeccable. The food was, as usual, delicious. I had the planed salmon, my husband had a few dishes including fish, lobster tail and ahi tuna tartare. The way several staff members treated us really made our special night memorable. We will definitely be going back!"

  • "I had only been to this restaurant once for dinner. It's such a great concept - all the flavor and presentation, but remarkably moderate in calories, so we could truly enjoy it without guilt (even dessert!)"

  • "We visited this location and were very disappointed. I had been previouslty and had a much better experience. This time, i specifically asked that nothing spicy be included in my daughters dish and they not only left the pickled onions on top, but also did not exclude the jalepeno-lime slaw. I was disturbed to see her looking for a way to cool off her mouth. Then, the server disappeared and we didnt know where he was or who was servicing our table. When someone did come, she seemed uninterested and bored, was not familiar with the menu and got the order wrong. Speaking to the manager made the visit tolerable. He was genuinely interested in correcting the deficiences, and our meal was on the house...I'm not sure that we will return."

  • "Even though we have eaten at Season 52 in Bethesda ,MD before, this dining experience was mixed. We had a reservation for 8:15 PM but, was seated closer to 9:00 PM. Our bar drinks never came and we had to ask a different waiter for water. We had a very long period to wait even to get water! There was confusion who was serving us. The waiter tried to make excuses for the over site to no avail. The food was excellent but, the service was poor! The manager did give us a free appetizer, free drinks and free desserts."

  • "My dinner companion was uncomfortably cold in the restaurant & complained. The server & management response was very understanding, solicitous, and helpful. It was very gratifying to know her complaints were addressed."

  • "I've been dining here since they opened and have a regular notation of my table number preference. The hostess made me wait almost 5 minutes before she looked up and acknowledged me, took me to the bar instead of the dining room and then tried to seat me at another table after I pointed out the empty table that I usually have. By the time everything got sorted out, it was 20 minutes later and then it took another 10 minutes for anyone to come and offer me a glass of water. Fortunately my guest was late so I didn't deal with this embarrassment as it was my guest's first visit. Finally, things moved in the right direction after a horrible start indicated by the poor service rating."

  • "The service can be slow and while sometimes it is easy to tell it is the kitchen having problems and not the waitress, this time we had a problem with the waitress not showing up at the table often enough and not being attentive. If you are with a nice group and don't mind hanging out a while at dinner, service may not seem a problem to you."

  • "My Mom and sister were in town and a friend recommended Seasons 52 and I was thrilled with the experience. The food was awesome and plentiful. I still cannot believe everything on the menu is under 500 calories!!! REMARKABLE!!! The cocktails were awesome and everything from the appetizers to the scallops were delicious! I will definitely go back!"

  • "I stay on a very strict diet - eating very healthy all of the time. At Seasons 52 that is a standard in their menu where as at other restaurants you have to work very hard to order healthy food and to request special preparation. The food at Seasons 52 has always been great and is always healthy. The atmosphere is always enjoyable and the service staff up to the manager and chef are attentive on satisfying the guests. I have gone to Seasons 52 with larger groups, with another couple, and just my wife and me. I always enjoy the restaurant and the changing menu."

  • "2nd time that I tried to get a reservation, went online &was not able to get the time slot but was able to get one for 45 minutes after my desired time. Arrived before our scheduled time and was told they were running 15 minutes behind. No problem, we would go to the bar and get a drink. Waited 10 minutes in front of 3 bartenders and not one of them acknowledged me.more concerned peeling oranges for garnishments so we left the bar and went back to the waiting room with25 others. It would have been great if one of the 4 greeters were empowered to take a drink order! We were seated and had a Really nice, knowledgable waitress but they are understaffed or people just are not empowered.good food&nice menu.Iove the little deserts."

  • "Went on a Sunday evening ... first time in many years by myself. Priscilla, the server was very attentive and offered menu suggestions. Though moderately busy, I was still asked by Priscilla if I needed anything else and even by the manager. I thought it was nice that they came up even though I wasn't with a group as many others were and they were attentive to my needs. Food was very good and of course, I give 5 stars for the service."

  • "In the past we would have given this restaurant a high rating, but it seems to have slipped. We were very slow in being seated (with reservations) in our past two visits; in one case after we'd finally been seated we found the couple we were supposed to meet had been seated on the opposite side of the restaurant. Food still is good but we were disappointed in our last visit. Service also can be a bit slow. We've been fans of this restaurant since we were invited to a preview dinner before its formal opening, so we hope it returns to its previous level. Very convenient for Strathmore Music Center and what remains of White Flint Mall."

  • "Good variety of menu items and unusual combinations. Good drink menu. Service was not as good as had been in the past, with items arriving at different times like our coffees at the end of the meal. There was also some gristle in the chicken flat bread, which was disappointing. I have had this several times before and it was good.."

  • "The menu says that all meals are under 475 calories. Yet the trout fillet was large and the Shrimp Cavatappi Pasta looked small but was filling and tasty. The small salad was tasty too. The one thing I'd skip is the flatbread, which they pride themselves on. Although we liked the topping, the bread itself is very thin and crunchy, not very breadlike."

  • "I liked the upscale yet relaxed vibe of the space. Reservations were made for 5:45p, in time to enjoy the meal before a concert at the Strathmore. We were warmly greeted and seated promptly in a very comfortable dining room. Our server, Omayma, was very attentive and helpful with review of the drinks and general menu. The small Caesar and Greek salads were very good and generous proportion. The carmelized grill sea scallops and grilled boneless rainbow trout entrees were fresh and well prepared. We barely had room for dessert but the mini individual servings of the key lime pie and belgian chocolate rocky road hit the spot. Overall, it was a very nice dining experience and we will return."

  • "I have been several times now. The food menu varies according to season and is consistently good. I've never been blown away by anything but I've never been disappointed either. They do little desserts in shot glasses, which isn't my favorite thing, but I know that's just personal preference. This last visit we started with tuna tartar, then had rack of lamb and scallops - all of it was good. The lamb particularly was interesting and seasoned a little unusually, which was a pleasant surprise. The wine list is good, broader and deeper than most restaurants in the area. The only sour note has been the service, which is not quite on par with the quality and price of the food. Our server last night was particularly off-putting and slow."
