We've dined here many times but this visit had horrid service. We had a poor table location, so everyone who passed knocked into my chair. When the waitress brought water to the table, she literally threw the straws on the table. We ordered appetizers that never arrived. Entrees arrived 25 minutes after ordering and when we asked about our salad, the food runner said "I'm just the guy in the back" and the waitress two to three minutes later says " oh, they never came?" We were offered appetizers with our dinner. No thanks. Two in our party are fast eaters. The waitress began removing their plates. I was not done, until that is, she placed another diners fork on my plate and then asked if I was finished. "I guess I am now". We just asked for the check. No dessert. Why prolong the punishment. In general this is our go to restaurant but service was very poor. Food was usual good quality. There are many other decent places in Bethesda and Rockville. I hope the quality of service improves soon or my patronage will definitely shift.

We have eaten at Seasons 52 a number of times and each time it gets worse. Our recent dinner on a Sunday night was probably out last at the restaurant. First, the waiter seemed totally overwhelmed by our drink order which consisted of four different beers. It took him over 15 minutes to bring us our drinks and then was no where to be found when it turned out one of the drinks was wrong. When dinner finally arrived it looked as if it had been slapped onto the plates. The best I can say is that the plates were extremely hot. However, the fish was overcooked, the pork was brown and cold and the sides looked as they they had been waiting to be served for a while (their temperature appeared to be more a function of the hot plate than timing of preparation). When we noted our disappointment with the evening, we received lots of apologies for our trouble and the full $160.00 bill.

I took my parents out to this restaurant to celebrate my Dad and I's birthdays. The atmosphere was great, ambience was good, service was perfect. Our waiters were very attentive, personable and caring. They even brought out special champagne toasts, birthday cards and desserts to celebrate our 2 birthdays. Overall, we had an excellent experience and look forward to dining at Seasons 52 in the near future for more special occasions! Thank you...

We had a group of six and when making reservations, had asked for the quietest spot since one of our party has hearing aids. It was a Monday evening and the noise level around us was not quiet, but allowed for very satisfactory conversation. The server spoke very clearly and was friendly and efficient. The presentation of the the food was appealingly artistic and everyone seemed pretty pleased with their dishes. I've been here once before and I really enjoy that the portions are just right for a celebratory dinner without leading one to feel gorged. And there is always room for the delightfully small desserts to finish the meal with perfection.

We love Seasons 52, especially on off hours when it's quiet and romantic. We dropped in for a spur of the moment late lunch. We had an adorably young server, Katherine, who was delightful and knowledgeable about food selections. We had mushroom soup which was perfect, a goat cheese & mushroom flatbread and fish tacos. All was wonderful.

We were a party of 4 and this was a great evening. The food was spectacular and the choices were abundant. We made reservations but were not seated on time. The front desk did a poir job of keeping us informed of what was happening but just as we were getting restless they brought out flat bread for us to try which was a nice touch. The dinner went great and ended with a great little dessert that was brought out. Fun time.

We live and work within walking / cab distance to many restaurants (DC and Bethesda) and the notion of driving to a restaurant is a little foreign to us. We were pleasantly surprised by this place. On an early Saturday evening, the service was a little spotty; the food was good - tasty, nicely presented. Their approach to desserts was fantastic: $3 for a cup - that should be fine for most people. If you really want, get 2. But it was a refreshing change from paying $10+ for some oversized plate of goo. Cocktails were good. I did not see beers on tap though. By the time we left, it was prime dinner time and the place was hopping. Good idea to get there early.

It's great that Seasons 52 has a separate vegan menu, and some of the items are delicious. It would be great if more could be designed specifically to be plant-based, rather than having to request that various ingredients be removed to make it vegan. We enjoyed the tofu, brussels sprouts, beet salad, flatbreads, and tacos!

I love this restaurant and return often. This visit, however, was only okay. We had a party of 5, 3 of whom were over 80. They sat us in a booth which is hard for an older person to "scoot" on. I explained this & asked if another table was available ( it was very early in the evening and the room was empty). They showed us to another booth saying the larger tables were reserved. They didn't offer to move 2 smaller tables together. The food, usually excellent, was disappointing. I ordered sesame crusted swordfish with soba noodles. The noodles were mushy; the sesame was undetectable. The turkey skewer ordered by another member of our party was dry. I'll go again but this was the first time my guests had been to Seasons 52 & I doubt they will.

The ambiance is great. Great booths for group of six. The food is fresh and very healthy selections. The servers are extraordinary. However, for the money, I'd like a slightly larger portion and a tad more seasoning. The portions are such that you need to order a appetizer and desert to feel satisfied. My mother ordered a half chicken that was the size of a Cornish hen. Not a great place for foodies. It remains on my list of go to restaurants.

Everything was just average. Prices high for what it was. Not exceptional by any means. The scallops I had on another occasion were better and not as salty as this go around. When I made on line reservations, I requested a quiet spot if possible since we had an elderly couple with us who don't hear well. We were placed right in the middle of the main dining room. However, when I request a backroom table when we arrived, we were accommodated which we appreciated. And we did enjoy the ambiance. Seasons 52 is our neighborhood restaurant.

The food here was very good. Although they did make a mistake with part of my order (they gave me the wrong vegetable), I tasted it and it was really good so I decided not to send it back. This place really is worth checking out if you have never been. It is kind of unbelievable that this place is owed by the same people that own Olive Garden - it's like night and day between cheap low quality food at Olive Garden and local and organic food where possible at Seasons 52 prepared by actual chefs.

Special place for a special location, such as a birthday. Not too family-oriented, which is perfect for someone who wants a break from noisy kids. The service is very friendly and polite. The menu is perfectly balanced and refined, neither over-the-top, nor everyday. The quality of food is very good, portions are just the right size. Seasons 52 is by far the best place I have been at in this area.

The food is just so-so and overpriced. Cedar planked salmon arrived on the charred piece of wood and was dried out. The "roasted vegetables" consisted of whole potatoes, a few asparagus and whole carrots dried out in a mini-roasting pan to the point of being un-chewable. Atmosphere is noisy, esp with the piano bar music intruding into the dining area. Maybe not so bad if the piano bar singer had any talent. The singer had a one octave range which meant if the song went up she went down and vice versa. The end effect was a constant moaning that seemed to beg for her to be put out of her misery.

Seasons 52 is one of our favorite restaurants. Both the cocktails and the food are consistently creative and delicious, and the portions are just right. The service is very professional. The ambience is pleasant and conducive to an enjoyable dinner and conversation. The musicians at the bar keep the music at a good volume level for enjoyable listening without interfering with enjoying your dinner companions, and are consistently talented. The wine list is notable. There is free valet parking for the first three hours. What more could you ask?

My husband and I enjoyed an entree salad (me) and the filet mignon (him) and we were both very satisfied. For dessert, I asked if we could order the goat cheese + crisps from their happy hour small plate menu (though it was after happy hour) and they cheerfully obliged. Our dinner was pleasant but the flatbread was, well, flat in taste. My dinner of sea scallops was served with risotto and butternut squash. The risotto was underdone as well as the squash--too firm. The scallops could have been seasoned better. My guest had the salmon which was very good she said. The desserts are little glasses of basically the same thing. The glasses are brought to the table in a metal tray and you select from it and it is presented to you. Not sure how long it sits in that glass before you eat it.
