Seasons 52 - North BethesdaEverything was sublime - especiallyEverything was sublime - especially the service! Feeling like a little New York in the middle of Rockville, MD6/14/2013 12:00:00 AMWe'll be backOur second visit was just as good as our first. Great service, and delicious food. We'll be back again soon.6/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGREAT111The service was the best I had ever encountered, from the receptionist (greeter) , wait person, general manager. All bent over backwards (as the saying foea) to make our visit a pleasant one.6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMSensational Seasons 52Since I would be bringing my home-made soup to a friend immediately after lunch with a group of women, I carried my thermal bag into the restaurant in the hope that I would be able to set it down in a safe place. Would you believe the manager took the bag and put it into the cooler behind the bar! WOW! Our server was not only attentive to our needs but, as we were about to get the bill, she agreed to allow the six of us to use our own credit cards. Expecting that the bill would simply be split amongst us, we were so surprised to see that each of us received a separate check covering what had been ordered. WOW! All this was done with a smile, and we were smiling because our food was just so good and presented so beautifully.6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMYummy! It was a deliciousYummy! It was a delicious meal, perfectly prepared with tasty fresh in-season ingredients and I really enjoyed it!6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food & service! Our waitress was adorable & so knowledgeable! She was there every time we needed something & checked in on us a number of times, but not bothersome at all. Pleasant luncheon all in all. I love going there!6/10/2013 12:00:00 AMwonderful eveningHad celebration for daughters 21st. Wonderful service, great food, and the most pleasant time. We will come back often. Thanks for making the evening a hallmark of the day!!6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat experienceMy group went to celebrate a friend's birthday. I was so pleased with the service and attention to my friend. The food was delicious and I can't wait to return!6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMA Great Experience As AlwaysSeasons 52 is one of my favorite restaurants, and nothing in this visit changed that. The salmon salad was delicious, and my friend had the Veggie Tasting, which was a lot of food. I finished up with the Mocha Macchiato, and all was well.6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of the best among the mediocreSeasons 52 gets lots of credit for really trying hard with good ambiance and a good menu. So much better than many of chain restaurants (fern bars). Would definitely prefer over TGI Fridays or Ruby Tuesday and those type of places, and on par with the various Clydes (and prefer Seasons 52 to Clydes). Still, it's not in same category as a fine French restaurant like La Maison Francaise or other area gems like Old Angler Inn, however it's (understandably) less expensive. Considering everything very nice value for what yu get and gets my vote for being at the top of a pretty mediocre list of competitors that try to be gourmet, but remain unmistakedly chain restaurants.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat service! We sat in a back room since the noise level is a bit too high in the main dining area. The food was excellent, portions just the right size, wide selection. When we had questions about the interesting wine list, a somellier came over and actually brought 4 different wines for my wife and I to taste before selecting. She was delightful. I was impressed by her knowledge and by the tasting opportunity. Made dinner much more fun.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstandingWe hadn't been here for about a year, but everything was PERFECT. The open table reservation worked and they even remembered our special occasion. Our server, Rachel C was one of the best we have ever had at any restaurant. Food and wine were exactly as ordered, and we have a wonderful experience . Definately a must go place.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMI love it!Food was excellent, fun ambience, waitress quite helpful and great personality, in sync with the overall restaurant philosophy. The only negative were the desserts......you cannot resist them! And is hard pick the "right one". Certainly, we still have 6 more to try, will come back to taste them soon.....6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat as AlwaysI really love this restaurant and frequent it often. The menu has a very good selection of choices and the food is fresh, delicious, and wholesome, with reduced calories. The service is excellent. My latest visit was great as always.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat service, delicious foodI have dined at Seasons 52 many times, and have always liked the food, and service is usually good. My most recent experience was one of the best. The Wild Alaskan Copper River salmon was delicious -- perfectly prepared, and the service was exceptional.6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMPros and ConsFood: excellent fresh food that is well prepared, low in salt and spices, and portion sizes that are just right.
Menu: good variety of meat, seafood and other offerings
Service: they aim to please
Value: good prices
Atmosphere: tables are well spaced, and the availability of booth-seating is a plus6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMFood is good but noise is unbearablFood is good, service is good especially depends on the server. However, the light is too dim. Could hardly take a memorable picture. Noise is unbearable. I usually go there for the food but not for romantic environment. Just way too noice. It is hard to carry a decent conversation.6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMWho knew - a treasure in Rockville!I was in search of a better than average restaurant not far from my company's offices in Rockville and happened upon Season's 52 - we were celebrating a colleague's career and waned to be sure that the send-off was worthy of him. Let is be said that this was way above average bordering on greatness. The cuisine concept was well executed, ambience was fun but not too loud and we all enjoyed ourselves enormously. On balance the wait staff was attentive but ranged from being MIA to providing overly extensive descriptions of whatever it was we were ordering. Given the all around great experience, we'll be back.6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMDefinitely a great place forDefinitely a great place for a special occassion! Nice atmosphere, professional and attentive staff.6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding Customer ServiceI treated my husband to dinner at Seasons 52 for his birthday. I had been once before with a colleague; he had never been. We were greeted warmly upon arriving and the level of customer service simply increased from there. Julianna G. and her team were amazing and made sure that we were comfortable. Seble was a great server; she provided us with recommendations and answered all of our questions. There were children in the booth next to us, but we never were disturbed and the music in the background was at just the right level.6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat ServiceWe were celebrating our 26th Year Anniversary; however, we did not mention it to the staff. We were seated almost immediately upon arrival. The waitress attended to right away. She smiled, was very timely, and extremely polite. Though the kitchen made a mistake in both of our meals, it was rectified immediately. We have dined there numerous times, and are always pleased with the experience. I would recommend it without hesitation.6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMInteresting location whichInteresting location which will change over time as area develops. Welcome!
Food is sensational, wines delightful. Service very attentive and courteous. Slight delay in bringing appetizers, but manager very graciusly offered us a complimentary appetizer for next visit. Problem beyond control and required time to correct.6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMSeasons 52 - always satisfyingHave eaten at Seasons 52 twice in the last 3 weeks - for dinner and lunch. Food was excellent as well was the service. I enjoy the seasonal adjustments to the menu. As always, I enjoyed these experiences.6/3/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food - pushy serviceI was happy with the food, but the server was a bit pushy. When asked what her favorite dish was, she said "filet mignon." Really? The most expensive thing on the menu? Classy. Also, she brought out desserts AND spoons after we said we didn't want any. I really hope all servers here are not like this.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMThey made our anniversary specialFrom writing a card wishing us a Happy Anniversary, to the champagne toast (complementary), friendly and attentive service, plus great food, the staff all around made the evening special for us. Our server even designed a wine glass with the number of years we've been married and a heart for us to take home. She also took our picture as a souvenir. Very memorable evening!6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMWe keep comming back!In early May we celebrated our 36th wedding anniversary and in late May we celebrated the sale of our house. We went on the early side because of our schedule and the noise level was moderate to quiet when we arrived for a 5:30 p.m. reservation. We came especially for the Copper River Salmon and it did not dissapoint. We will be back with friends to celebrate our new lifestyle (apartment living).5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic after work meetingWe requested a table outside and they obliged! Fantastic attention by waitress (Jennifer) and they didn't rush us as we unwound after a long week. We had the artichoke flatbread appetizer, salmon or shrimp for dinner (all great!), and their reasonable sized, yummy demi desserts. Fun wine choices presented by waitress. Fantastic!5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful date night!I had such a wonderful time with my boyfriend. The wine was devine and the food was even better. Our waiter was personable and very attentive.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWe have been to your restaurantWe have been to your restaurant many times, but this was the best experience by far. We were greeted by Chris Milliron who showed us to our table. He was very professional yet friendly. Our server , Melanie, was wonderful! She was attentive, and pleasant. She is the best server we have had at your restaurant. Chris checked in with us a couple of times to make sure everything was going well. The food was scrumptious! We really enjoyed our lunch!5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMDelightful eveningWe love seasons 52 for special occasions or just going out the Fresh local food is delicous with creatvity. Staff is professional and helpful. We recommend it to all5/29/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat dinnerGreat dinner, with healthy, delicious food. Excellent service by our server.5/28/2013 12:00:00 AMit's nice to be pamperedwill keep returning because of excellent service and good (but limited for me) food. Onions or garlic in most dishes and only 2 non-red meat entrees keep me ordering one of the same trout or chicken dishes, but they are tasty.
free valet parking a plus.
small dessert size is nice, but the one I selected last time was a bit tired, I think it had been prepared far in advance of when I ate it (like maybe the day before)
another criticism is the loud noise level.
but, still I like this place for the service5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMWill go back often.I've only been to this restaurant for lunch several times. Have always enjoyed my meals. Service is great. Management is excellent.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMHome RunEddie (server) did a great job tonight. New chicken flatbread was outstanding. All entrees were excellent - trout, shrimp, chili and tuna. Wine service right on time. Great time bringing new people to our favorite place.5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMthe food is always good andthe food is always good and the service excellent. Our biggest complaint is the noise level.5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMFine dining, great serviceThe food at Seasons 52 is excellent. We stared with the lamb flatbread, which was seasoned to perfection. The caesar salad dressing tasted freshly made with large pieces of shaved parmesan. Our beef dishes were prepared exactly as ordered and the vegetables were well seasoned. If you are there for a special occasion, the staff takes your photo and gives you a copy in a keepsake folder. But be sure to make a reservation as this popular restaurant was filled, even on a Thursday night.5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat A Lovely Experience!Seasons 52 in North Bethesda is truly a gem! Noot only is the food outstanding, the venue is beautiful, and the staff is unbelievably warm, friendly, and accommodatiing! We couldn't have asked for a better restaurant experience.5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMLOUD!WAY too LOUD! Could hardly hear the 3 people with whom I was dining.5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Happy Hour PlaceGreat place to meet up with friends. Service was a little slow this evening, but the server went out of his way to get my favorite glass of wine that is normally not available by the glass. I appreciate the effort.5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMI will come back.Had a wonderful dinner with a friend. Noise level was such that we could actually hear each other. The food is delicious ,and I appreciate the fact that it wasn't covered with fattening sauces.
Our server, Addie, was attentive, very pleasant, and helpful. I'd ask for her again.5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMSeasons 52 - MWO11As a new resident to the Bethesda area, I was told to try this place. My gf is gluten free and had a menu to accommodate her, which was nice. The menue is constantly changine 4 times a year, hence the name, and ofers a wide variety of fresh meals. We started with stuffed mushrooms with crab and shrimp, I would highly reccommend! I ordered the fillet which was cooked perfectly and the gf had the salmon. For dessert we split a peanutbutter chocolate moose which was light and had a moist chocolate cake on the bottom! Overally experience there was excellent! I will be sitting down to enjoy another meal here in the near future.5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMSeasons 52 always greatThis is about our 10th visit to Seasons and everyone has been excellent. Management came by our table three times to be sure we were satisfied. The music at the bar was a little loud and they responded immediately to resolve that.
Service is supurb as are the flat breads and everything about the restaurant is exceptional. We obviously recommend it highly and believe that it is one of the best in the DC area. Value for what you pay is fantastic. Even the free valet parking attendants are professional, friendly and get you off to a great time.5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food. Piano bar entertainmentDandl (spelling?) the pianist was very good. The food was great. Still can't believe that those were low cal. Nothing that tastes that good is ever low cal. Healthy dinners. You pay a bit more and that's why I put down "Special Occasion" for my families budget anyway. Lots of room at bar. Super martini drinks.5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Place!Thoroughly enjoyed my first experience with Seasons52! The server was delightful, the food fantastic and the atmosphere relaxing!5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMSinger in bar was very loudSinger in bar was very loud and made it difficult to carry on a conversation without shouting. We always dine in the bar area and never had this problem in the past.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMPiano Bar Again???I have dined at Seasons 52 several times. I love the food, which is very tasty, and I appreciate the emphasis on a healthy lifestyle. My only complaint is that I had a reservation and still got placed near the piano bar (this happened twice before but I did not have a reservation). Not clear what their seating policy is. Had I been alone, I would have demanded different seating, but the person I was with does not like to make waves! Notwithstanding the location the service and food was great.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat experience. We lovedGreat experience. We loved the food and also the music at the bar. The female vocalist was excellent. Our service was great. I think our waiter's name was Shaun. He told us he was new. It certainly was not obvious by the excellent and very attentive service that her provided.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMWell taken care ofMy ratings for Seasons 52 have almost always been five stars. This visit had a few flaws that were addressed by the restaurant staff and manager, so the evening ended well.
Some examples, for some reason the spinach salads were delivered without the roasted pine nuts. Upon request the pine nuts were provided. The food delivery was noticeably slower than prior visits. All meals were excellent.
We were celebrating an anniversary and two birthdays. The special touches by our server and the manager made it a positive and lasting memory.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMOverall good experienceOur first visit to Seasons 52--busy Saturday night. Service was great! Loved the flatbreads, appetizers, and desserts. Entrees were okay, but not spectacular. Ambiance was quite nice but noisy till the crowd thinned out about 9 pm. Was also kind of dark, which I like, but not if I'm trying to read a menu. Tables with lamps there was no problem, but if you're sitting at a table on the floor there was only one candle per table for extra lighting. Still I prefer the dimmer lighting for a nicer dining experience. The valet parking was easy and convenient. Overall a nice experience!5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMA lovely way to celebrate a birthdaA friend and I chose to lunch at the North Bethesda Seasons 52, because it's very close to where we both work. Seated within a few minutes of our reservation time; the restaurant was not very busy so the ambience was perfect for two friends to catch up.... both of us ordered a flatbread, and both of us were very pleased.... my friend chose a side dish that they were out, unfortunately. Because it was my birthday, we each had our choice of a complimentary dessert -- yummy! and the shot glass portion was just enough decadence! Our server was responsive and had a great smile!5/17/2013 12:00:00 AM
