I had two great meals over a six month period, followed by two bad ones. In both of those the main problem was service. From the time it took between being seated to finally placing our order, to the half hour it took to get our entrees, to the mysterious disappearances of our waitress throughout the meal, things just dragged. Other customers we talked to on the way out had the same experience. I'll wait for a positive recommendation from a trusted friend before going again. What a shame!

The food was good, but the service was terrible. I have been to Seasons52 often and have always had a great time overall. I am hoping this was just a rare incident, but it will be awhile before I return.

First time and would definitely go back. Very flexible in changing our table from front room to main dining room when requested. Our waiter, Mustafa, was fantastic and hope the next time I am there he is working! Food was delicious and desserts are a perfect size to top off dinner. They are served in shot glasses and ready to eat when you pick them off the plate of options.

  • comparing N. Bethesda to Naples, FL

... Having just had dinner a few days earlier with my dad, step-mom and brother at Seasons 52 in Naples, FL, then again with a friend in N. Bethesda, MD, I couldn't help but notice how much skimpier the vegetable portions - and main course - were up here. It was striking. Maybe 25% of the side vegetables. In Fla, my step-mom had to take home half her fish for easily two more meals, and up here I was easily able to finish. I'm not one to want more than I can eat, or holler for large portions! Just so apparent that, for the same price, a diner gets much less in Maryland. Everything was delicious as always.

Have been here multiple times and have tried many dishes. Haven't had anything we didn't like. Service was exceptional and servers were very knowledgeable about each of the dishes. Some of our favorites include: mussels, venison chops, seared scallops, salmon, and trout. For something refreshing try the ginger agave soda. Each dish under 500 calories. Healthy eating with great flavors.

I was truly impressed with the knowledge of my server Fasida (hope I am spelling name correctly )Offered a limited time available salmon and now my girlfriend wants to keep coming whenever they are offering a limited version of seafood !!!! Great choice of a restaurant that we chose based solely on the name and now we have started referring our friends and family.

We had a warm greeting upon entering the restaurant. I had requested a quiet seating and not in the bar area and it was honored. The waiter was very personable and brought us each a small aperitif for my birthday dinner! We ordered the pesto/chicken flatbread for an appetizer and it was delicious. I had the grilled scallops which were excellent and my husband enjoyed the salmon. I was offered one of the mini desserts, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and it was just enough! They also offered to take a picture and put it in a cardboard frame to take home! This was a wonderful evening and we will return.

I found the meal as a whole to be a bit overpriced for the amount served. Specifically the lamb dish... I understand their big thing about each dish being under a certain amount of calories, but we've received more lamb for less at other restaurants, that has tasted better. Scallops were good, slightly undercooked. Corn risotto was delicious, several bites of hard chunks had to spit out. Not sure if it was uncooked or over cooked risotto. Again, I would consider going back for lunch if shopping at Tyson's or something...but the husband officially crossed it off of our dinner date list & he's less picky than I am!

We have dined at this restaurant many times before, but on this occasion had the misfortune of being served by an inexperienced waitress. She knew virtually nothing about the wine list, and was not able to recommend pairings with our meals; worse, she didn't come by to check on us after we received our meals (so we weren't able to tell her one of our side dishes never came). On a brighter note, the cedar-planked salmon and grilled trout dishes were perfectly prepared. Next time we will request our usual waiter.

While the singer behind the bar (who mentioned several times that she appeared on "The Voice") did indeed have a lovely voice, the volume was WAY TOO LOUD, making conversation near-impossible for those of us sitting in the bar area. The volume needs to be turned down to compensate for singers with strong voices (especially when they start belting it out) so as to balance the ability of your guests to enjoy both the music AND their company.

Gracious service, good food, pleasant outdoor table. The bar was accommodating of a request for an unusual drink (Aperol spritz); the strawberry basil infusion was well-balanced and, as requested, not too sweet. Splitting a flatbread was ample as an appetizer; the specialty flatbread - goat cheese, bacon, arugula, balsamic reduction - was good but somewhat out of balance, with insufficient bacon and a bit excessive on the too-sweet balsamic. Caramelized grilled sea scallops were tasty and an excellent value; sides were imaginative and well-executed (peas done just right, corn risotto delicious). The fresh corn side dish was so good that we ordered a second round! The waiter helped us narrow our wine choice by offering samples.

Setting and location was excellent. We where greeted at the door with a warm welcome and shown to our seat. In the bar booths. Music was great, not over bearing and you could talk. Not a lot of customers yet. Could be that DC is in shut down mode with Congress on Holiday. The server was a little behind on things. Took time to get most of anything and always telling us I would be there in a min. Sometimes I got the impression the person did not realize that we had completed that one item. Food and drinks were Very Good. My Rack of Lamb very nicely done. Prices were reasonable. Over all my guest and I had a very good evening.

Each time we go, my wife and I comment that it couldn't be as good as the last time, but each visit meets and exceeds our expectations. This time we tried a couple of new items (at least for us). The steak salad was superb and the roasted corn was a very pleasant surprise. I will order again, if on the menu at our next visit. My wife had the lobster flatbread and we shared the key lime and chocolate chip cannoli deserts which were a perfect size to complement the meal. Service was, once again, superior; especially since we informed the waitstaff that we had theater plans, but we never felt rushed. Drinks were topped off or replaced without a word from us. We will definitely be back.

the food was great, when we finally got it. I'm saying it took over an hour after we arrived. there were 9n of us and it was a lunch for the office. People had to get back to work, so there was alot of tension around the wait.I would recommend the food but with reservations about the possible wait. there was also a wrong order so my coworker had to take her meal home in a doggy bag. She did eat what was brought and it was compted. The wait was horrendous and I though
