  • "Got one of the back rooms so it was great for quiet conversation. Still had a speaker for the piano player coming from the bar. Food was great, hard to believe it was all under 475 calories. Dinner for two included two appetizers and two entrees. We were stuffed. Great tasting food, too. I had the Sea Scallops over risotto and asparagus. Wife had a salad with a salmon filet. Will definitely go back again."

  • "My fiancé, Robert and I had lunch at Seasons 52 this past Saturday, 4/12. Our server Mark S. was extremely knowledgeable of the entire menu and made wonderful recommendations. I had requested through Open Table to please provide the gluten free menu. The requested was followed through upon arrival, and when we were seated Mark made sure that we were given the alternate menu. I was thoroughly impressed. Robert had the market fish and I had the turkey burger. The food was absolutely delicious, full of color and flavor. For desert I had the mango cheesecake and Robert had the cannoli. The desserts were delectable. It hard to believe that everything is under 500 calories! It was remarkable that so much taste cane be packed in so few calories."

  • "I had the scallops with pea risotto and asparagus spears. Scallops were done perfectly and delicious. I would prefer larger scallops and less of them, but I like the huge scallops. Asparagus is my favorite veggie, so I was very happy. I don't eat rice so saved the rice for my husband's lunch the next day which he enjoyed. My husband had probably one of the best salmon he has ever had in a restaurant. It was King salmon on a plank. Flakey, tender, and so flavorful!! It was so good I may order the salmon next time even though hard to pass up scallops. His salmon was accompanied by a variety of veggies perfectly cooked. Great, healthy food!"

  • "I treated an employee of mine to lunch, since she took a promotion with another company out of town, and she has been a great employee. The scheduling system was great (had to reschedule) and the ambience great. She ordered the scallops, risotto and asparagus, which she said was delicious. We both ordered the asparagus soup with lemon, which was terrific. However, I ordered the chicken and vegetables, which was good, but nothing out of the ordinary, which is what I expected. It was not very flavorful. Otherwise, we enjoyed the fact that the noise leverl was moderate and the service was very good....but not quite outstanding, like I was expecting....she appreciates fine food, with a degree from Cornell in Hotel Management.... Thanks."

  • "I found Seasons 52 quite by accident a couple of years ago. I am in Costa Mesa a couple of times a year and always eat there. It is a gem! We had the scallops this time and they were fabulous. The presentation and the asparagus and lemon risotto were a great combination to the scallops, which were cooked perfectly. The new butterscotch desert was light and delicious and not too sweet. Whenever the weather is good, the patio is a perfect place to eat. Much less noisy than inside and just delightful when the sun goes down and the lights on all the palm trees light the entrance to that part of South Coast Plaza."

  • "My wife and I tried this place before the Diana Krall show. We were seated promptly and our waitress, Christina, gave us the menu and restaurant low down. We had read a YELP review that the portions were small, I guess that person has an appetite issue. The food was excellent and my wife took home some of the salmon and vegetables. The mini desserts is also a great idea. We will be back to this restaurant."

Their seasonal menu is interesting and focuses my attention on fresh and seasonal choices. Their additional bonus of preparing the meals in a health conscious and calorie conscious manner is also appreciated. I've had client lunches, business dinners and personal dinners at their restaurants and I'm always happy with their consistency and service. Seasons 52 is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in any city where I am visiting. This is not your average chain!"

  • "It's expensive and the portions are small - if you have a large bank account and a small appetite you'll love this place. But that should be no surprise to this place's fans. In my reservation, I had requested a quieter table. What I got was a table near the entrance to the bar (with live music!) and adjacent to a noisy family with small children. That doesn't show much attention to customers. The place is seemingly always busy, so there's going to be quite a hubbub and the service will be mechanical. And then there are those prices, all a la carte. The trout entree was delicious as was the pork tenderloin, but the wedge with crab meat was dry and boring as are all the flatbread appetizers. Beautiful settings and mood lighting."

  • "This restaurant is at South Coast Plaza. All was good, except you need to ensure you get a decent table. At first they were going to seat us next to the area where waiters come out of the kitchen. My husband insisted they give us a different table. I asked for a booth and was told "they are all reserved." I didn't know you could reserve one. We were placed at a table near the front of the restaurant which was a mistake. The front door opened and closed every two minutes and a cold wind came in whenever it was opened. Otherwise the place is great."

The service is always impeccable and the menu, which changes seasonally, offers something to appease the pickiest eater. The flatbreads are superb as are all of the salads. Interesting how Seasons 52 promotes its flatbread and flight of wines during happy hour for a mere $15. I so appreciated the staff's giving us a quiet room for our group. We really enjoyed ourselves before the theater even though we didn't get to try to the amazing dessert options."

It was very pleasant until they put tables together for a very large group and once they arrived, the noise level was deafening. We would have been better off in the larger room with the "regular" noise level."
