First, they have complimentary valet parking. Now this isn't a big deal because the parking lot is right out front but it's a nice touch nonetheless. When we went inside, I was surprised by how contemporary the inside was. Lots of earth tones: dark wood, leather, sandstone, etc. The bar area is inviting and they had a pianist sitting in the middle of the bar playing, but it wasn't overpowering. The wine list is spectacular - all hand-picked by their master sommelier. Now for the food - keep in mind there's a focus on health and this translates into smaller portions. Just an entree won't cut it. We shared an app, each had a salad and an entree and we were plenty satisfied.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMHealthy Food, Good ValueWhile the Seasons 52 would not rate as a destination restaurant, it is a pleasant, well-staffed place featuring a healthy, good-tasting variety at a reasonable price. There is an extensive wine list, which I did not sample for lunch. They scrupulously report calories, and there is no deep fryer. We had an excellent shrimp and scallop ceviche as an appetizer. My sister liked her cedar planked salmon, and my mother her rather large entree crab salad. I was somewhat disappointed in my porterhouse (claimed to come in at 475 calories), which was a little overcooked and under-spiced, served with a lame brown sauce. Small portions of rich deserts are served in little glasses. Great effort has been put into offering a good selection of many healthy choices that are quite tasty. Our server was well versed on the selections and offered helpful ideas for ordering or sharing items on the menu. The desserts are quite delicious and just enough to satisfy that sweet tooth.

There was a birthday card waiting for me upon my arrival and the service only got better from there. This restaurant takes care of the small details from start to finish. The food was delicious (I ordered the scallops) and the ambiance was great.
I even received a framed picture of my dinner party.
This was my first visit and I would highly recommend this place for any special occasion or just a nice dinner out. There was honestly no pause, I was greeted and led to my table. When the waiter arrived he already knew our names and the special event we were celebrating. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and wine list. The champagne toast and picture was a nice touch. I have not had a better experience at a restaurant following a reservation. Nothing was strange, good ingredients put together to create great tastes. We had one of the flatbread and also mushroom apps, both left us wanting more they were so good. The noise from the bar area and the piano player/singer were so loud that I could not hear my four fellow dining companions. Also because of the noise I could hardly hear what our wait staff had to say. It also didn't help that he had a speech issue. I left with a headache.
I'd love to return for dinner with my husband, but his tolerance is low for noise and the ability to know what the wait staff is saying to him.
My dining companions were there that evening to scout the restaurant for this year's office Christmas luncheon. They were out of a few things but everything we ordered tasted fresh and wonderful. We appreciated the late option on a Sunday and were not made to feel unwelcome. Our table was ready when I arrived, and there was a nice card on the table wishing me a Happy Birthday. Our server, Brigit was fantastic. We ordered champagne that was promptly served at 7:30, as requested. She greeted each of our guests as they arrived and gave us plenty of time to chat as well as review the menu. She took all 8 orders without taking notes, and everything was served as ordered. Quite impressive. Service, wine and food were terrific. Salads are huge - consider splitting one if you also order an entrée. The menu is creative and healthy and my dinner as well as my friend's were delicious. One portion of the menu changes every quarter ("Seasons") and there are also a few weekly specials ("52"). I chose one of the weeklies (arctic char) and my friend had one of the seasonals (filet mignon). We each treated ourselves to a mini dessert and it was just the right amount of sweetness to end the meal. Mocha Machiato and Peanut Butter [something or other, don't remember the actual name] were the two we selected.
Reservations are still a good idea, even on a week night. The restaurant was full on a Monday night at 8:00 pm.

Our daughter was there for her birthday luncheon so we had to indulge ourselves and have one of the mini-desserts which were delicious.
