Having eaten at one Seasons 52 before, I was eager to try the one in Chicago. I was not disappointed. The food is well-prepared and tasty, and doesn't leave one feeling bloated as all dishes are under 500 calories. Service was generally attentive, with a few gaps. We enjoyed the wines by the glass - better choices than wines by the glass usually are. The only thing I've noticed at both Seasons 52 restaurants is that they have alternative menus (gluten-free, vegetarian, low sodium) and these each have interesting choices that are different from the main menu. If you ask for those menus, they are provided, but no one brings them to a diner's attention. Luckily, I learned about them on the website and knew to ask. An enjoyable dinner.

I chose Seasons 52 to celebrate my daughter's 32nd birthday while we were all in Chicago for a wedding. She is a vegetarian, and I wanted a place where she actually had a choice of appetizers and entrees. Seasons has special menus for many different dietary needs as well as a lovely menu for all. The presentation was beautiful and all of our meals were clean the plate delicious! Portions were ample but not stuff your face portions. The most fun part was the unique desserts...small cups presented in such a way that you had to say "yes"! And yummy as well. We had a slight delay on one appetizer and two dinners, but the waiter himself was wonderful. the bill was partially comped because of the delay, without us even expressing any concern.

We were extremely pleased with all aspects at Seasons 52-Chicago! Our waitress, Mariah was awesome and very helpful with answering all of our questions whether it was about the menu or wine pairings. The small plate offerings are perfectly proportioned and our meals were wonderfully prepared. We will definitely be back!

We were seated in a booth in the bar area for lunch and found it perfect for having a business discussion. Food was great (I ordered the artichoke flat bread... yum). The dessert presentation - 8 choices of decadent desserts served in tall shot glasses - was amazing. Try the pumpkin pie!

Had a great experience at seasons 52. Celebrated my grandmas birthday and they made it a night to remember. Her steak was cooked just the way she like and my rainbow trout was excellent. Would recommend saving room for desserts. They are worth it!

We have enjoyed Seasons 52 in Schaumburg and brought out of town guest to their Chicago location...service was not attentive and meals seemed overcooked after they were placed on the extremely hot plate or they had been left under the hot lights too long...thus drying out the food (no doubt due to the unattentive server.)

This a comfortable but elegant restaurant with a great menu that focuses on healthy and seasonal food and great wine. Having spent my 38 year career in River North with many fine restaurants to choose from this is a winner. It is warm and inviting and there is no rush. I most recently had the scallops and they were delicious and plentiful. The mini desert selection has something for everyone. A great place to conduct a business dinner, have an evening out with the gals, or celebrate a family occasion. And the service is exceptional.

I chose this restaurant for a group of 15, based solely on other diners' reviews--and they steered me right. The dining area is very attractive; the wait staff (and everyone else on the staff) was exceedingly friendly and helpful; the food was fresh, tasty, and nicely portioned; and the prices were very reasonable for the quality received and the fact that the restaurant is in downtown Chicago. We will be back! My friends thought I was a genius for finding this restaurant.

We had a delicious 4 course lunch! Each course from the butternut squash soup to the dizzying choice of shot glass filled desserts was a test! Especially notable was the shared flatbread! We had the tomato version...and were overjoyed by how thin the bread really was! So many times flatbread is so doughy and thick...you are stuffed before your meal comes out. This was crisp and cracker thin...just delicious! Our server was courteous, knowledgable and attentive. All in all a good experience!

This was my second visit to Seasons 52 with my daughter who is attending college in Chicago. You are currently her favorite restaurant! We opened with a Shrimp cocktail (the shrimp were huge!). Her Swordfish dish was a first for her and she loved it. She also loves the mint lemonade. My Filet was cooked perfectly. All vegetables were fresh and delicious. The squash side was very good! Our waiter was very attentive and made some excellent suggestions for both meal and desserts!!! You are a top notch restaurant. The atmosphere is very nice for both dining and enjoying company.

From the moment my friend and I sat down the experience was wonderful. Our server Paul was amazing and taught us about several new wines and was so knowledgeable about everything Seasons has to offer. The produce is all bought from local farms which I love they are supporting the community. The salmon was delicious and all of the menu item are under 475 calories. Paul showed us the best experience I've ever had in a restaurant.

Started with the lump crab salad- C minus, not enough crab too little dressing. The trout was excellent, A plus. Great piece of fish accompanied by carrots and baby potatoes, nice tartar sauce as well. Broiled scallops, solid B, cooked well, nice sized portion, good but not outstanding. Service was very friendly but inattentive. Wine list was awesome. I might be tempted to try it again, haven't written it off, but not high on my "must" return list.

Our experience at Seasons 52 was very positive with a few exceptions. The food my family ordered was great, but I'd say my fish was just fair with not much flavor. The desserts was good and for a great price. Loved the look and mood of the place, but thought the piano bar was a bit too loud and made it hard to talk.

Last night was our first, but certainly not our last, dinner at Seasons 52. Sean, our waiter, greeted us by name and was professional, helpful, and friendly throughout. I was honest with him that we there because we couldn't secure a reservation across the street at Joe's, but because of the positive reviews we felt confident, but still a bit nervous, that we were going to be satisfied with our selection. The bottom line is that we were extremely pleased, much more than simply satisfied, with our dinner at Seasons. The decor is tasteful, not too brightly lit nor too dark, the noise level was muted, the wine and food were excellent. Sean's professional service topped off a memorable, delicious dinner. We didn't miss Joe's for a moment.

I had a longer review but this doesn't allow you to give detail so here you go: Great décor and ambience, slow service in between coursed, grainy filet and tasteless overcooked green beans as a side, way too salty and over seasoned salmon, unique approach to desserts that allow you to taste without wasting. Nice bar/lounge area. I am definitely going to give this place another chance.

We dine here for the healthy offerings and fresh ingredients. We came on this occasion to meet friends visiting from out of town. We especially liked the wine tasting, which consisted of a three-selection flight of wines, followed by a glass of the favorite and a flatbread, a really nice way to try several wines and enjoy an appetizer before the main course.

Fantastic in every aspect. Great location with convenient Valet parking. Friendly, professional, respectful staff. Hip, trendy sophisticated atmosphere. Live entertainment that was subtle, not disruptive to table conversation. Food was amazingly delicious from start to finish. The arugula-topped Chicken Pesto Flatbread is like no other, providing a unique twist to a familiar recipe. The silky, smooth decadant Butternut Squash soup is a Seasonal best. You cannot leave without trying. This gem should be served year-round; the fresh Fall flavor is a crowd pleaser. The chicken was superbly seasoned; its delicate flavor & tender meat seemed to melt in your mouth. The accompanying jus made me want to lick the plate clean. Love Love LOVE!

This restaurant is an experience even without the food. With a live piano player singing along to today's hits creates a great atmosphere. The food changes per season and is all under 500 calories. Not only is the food delicious, but you don't have to feel guilty about having a dessert shooter at the end of the meal. Recommend to anyone who enjoys fresh food and an extensive wine pallet.
