Diner Reviews
  • "It was my first time eating here. I chose this restaurant because some in the party had food restrictions: One was Gluten-Free, one didn't eat fish, one wanted a bar & one didn't like "fancy" food. (Yes, they were all adults!) We had reservations and were seated early. Those who had a drink from the bar like their drinks. No complaints! I enjoyed my food (Arugula Salad and Scallops). Two in our group had the chicken and felt is was too salty. Another had the pork and enjoyed it as well. Two in our group had mini-desserts. There were about 10 different ones to choose from. They were fine, but I think I'll try different ones next time. Service was good and refills were quick. Valet parking was available."

  • "Seasones 52 is a go to restaurant for so many reasons. The food, ambiance, and service all combine to provide diners with a quality dining moment. It makes me want to return again and again (which I have.). IN fact, I plan to return within a week."

  • "We had great food at SEasons 52. The problem was that the waiter moved us along too slow. He greeted us quickly, but was slow getting back to us to get our drink order and then very slow in getting back to us to get our food order. On the one hand he would be very attentive about the wine and our table, but then he would drop off the grid so the pace was just off. The really bad thing happened at the end. We finished our dinner and they took all of our plates and cleared the table. Then we sat there for about 15 minutes before he brought the dessert tray and we declined. Then he took another 15 minutes to get back to us to bring the check. In this time we looked for him but he could not be found. It just left a bad taste with us."

  • "I've been to the Garden City, NY location so I was curious to see how this location would live up to what I've experienced in NY. I took a girlfriend with me, who had never dined at Seasons 52. I was thrilled to find that this location had the same charm, great service and excellent food that I've come to expect from Seasons 52. My girlfriend loved the ambiance of the restaurant and loved the vast wine choices. Our waiter Daniel was fabulous. He was well versed with the menu and was able to make several great food recommendations, such as the lobster flatbread basil infused martini, rack of lamb and shrimp & pasta dish. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and to top off our meal we had the cannoli and peanut butter and chocolate desserts."

  • "Have eaten here eaten here approx 6-7 times before, but this was the best yet. My adult siblings and myself dined with our parents and end had great service, food and an overall very positive experience. My only issue, and I hate to pick, was that it was so loud, we could barely have a conversation. That said, it was 6:30 on a Friday night, so to be expected, I guess. Looking forward to our next visit."

  • "Always need reservations & good food & wine selection. This was not best experience . We all ordered the scallops & food was luke warm. Table was in middle of reataurant & very loud. Difficult to have conversation with business clients. I been to this restaurant many times & this visit was not typical of quality of food from past !. If this was my first experience I would not go back! Will give it another try.!"

  • "Excellent food and service. Great concept, well executed. Prices might be a little high for families with pre-teen children."

  • "Food and service were excellent. If you come in at the end of the evening, they start sweeping and cleaning up around you which is irritating while you are trying to eat."

  • "Food is good, but not as great as it should be for the price"

  • "3 of the 4 diners were satisfied with their selection. The chicken dishes were not impressive, but the pork, salmon, and beef were Very good, 85-90 out of 100 on the scale. service was excellent and fast. server was personable and knew the menu. dessert was a wonderful exploration of $2.50 selections that were just right. prices were fair for what you got. Bottom line is we will go back"

  • "Went for an anniversary dinner with my wife and were both impressed. We made our online reservation and were seated within minutes of our arrival despite all the guests waiting without reservation. Ambiance was perfect as was the rack of lamb and rainbow trout. Dessert was great as well and I enjoyed having a 12 year old Macallan to start things off. We can't wait till our next meal there!"

  • "I was referred to this place, and loved everything about it. The only problem I had was my reserved table was given to another couple when we arrived. But they were so nice and fast that I was given a better and more romantic table."

  • "Great dining experience overall. Food was spot-on fresh and appealing. Presentation was 1st class. Only downside was the dessert - one diner's selection had obviously been on the tray too long. Dry and tasteless - our waiter replaced it quickly. Excellent addition to the Birmingham restaurant scene."

  • "My friends and I tried the flights and flatbreads -- All were delicious. Also tried the strawberry spinach salad, which was tasty, too. I love the fact that you can have a very satisfying dinner without blowing your daily calorie count. Yum!"

  • "We like to go to Seasons 52 every season, and we barely got there for the winter menu on out anniversary. We both had the flat iron steak salad, which was good but did require some salt & pepper. The chicken pesto flat bread was very good. My favorite thing other than the good low calorie food is that it's quiet. So hard to find a quiet restaurant these days."

  • "I brought a longtime friend in for lunch. He had never dined at a Seasons 52 before. It was very enjoyable. The service and food were great. While the menu is fairly broad, I might suggest a couple of non-fish dishes."

  • "Our dinner, including appetizers, was very satisfying and the service was perfect. I believe our server impressed us almost as much as the food. He was helpful, and respectful and attentive without hovering. My filet was perfection and my husband said the scallops were great. Loved our experience!!"

  • "Great service and food. Always consistently wonderful! Have dined here 4 times for lunch, as recently as yesterday, 3/17/14, and Jason, our server, thought I looked familiar!!! Looking forward to checking our the piano bar SOON!!!"

  • "Very nice ambiance but noisy. I personally don't care for a singer/piano player behind the bar the place is too small and the music too loud you can't hold a conversation which is part of enjoying a meal. Restaurant is too dark for people 50 and up! The flatbread was very good but the goat cheese filled ravioli were bland and the accompanying vegetables a little tart. The combination wasn't great. The deserts are nice but the idea to put them in little tall glasses is not very practical. Here practicality makes way for misplaced trendiness. Little bowls would be much better. I do like the fact that you can have more than one desert this way. Still a nice ambiance but food is a little pricey, I guess you pay for the elegant environment."

  • "I have now had the pleasure of dining at Seasons 52 twice, and both times I have been floored. The food is so unbelievably delicious that you'll never believe that everything is under 475 calories! First we had the flatbread (plum tomato somethingorother). Fresh, delicious, wonderful. Then I had the cedar plank salmon. This dish was incredible. It was moist, smokey, flavorful, absolutely perfect. My wife had the filet mignon which was also fantastic! Then of course we finished the night with their famous dessert. I had the mocha macchiato but I don't think there's a bad one in the bunch. So basically Seasons 52 is all the fun of indulgence without the consequences of indulgence. We'll be back often, that's for sure!"

  • "Wife wanted to eat here, I was a bit reluctant, and we were running a bit late to attend a concert. Informed the server that we were in a hurry and she was very accommodating. The menu had many outstanding choices, and the food was very good, although the seasonal sushi choice was average. Service (Christie) was outstanding and although we didn't feel rushed, we were out of there very quickly. We are both wanting to go back when we can have a leisurely dinner."

  • "I took my girlfriend to Seasons 52 at the Summit. She had earned a cheat meal, but we knew the menu is still very health-oriented. I got the cedar plank salmon, cooked medium. She got the filet. Not perfect, but okay. We actually joked that they should call the restaurant Seasons 86 since most components of each of our meals were under-seasoned. On the other hand, I don't completely mind this as I'm very sensitive to salt, and I abhor the use of copious amounts of oil. Overall, this place is nice."

  • "Very active and busy place to eat at The Summit. Great beer and wine selection. My wife and I enjoy ordering several small plates to share. It is a different experience, but in a good way. Food is always good and fresh. Seasonal items are usually very good."

  • "Four of us had reservations at 7 and planned to arrive earlie for a cocktail. A wonderful pianist/singer played my favorites: John Mayer, Billy Joel, Bruce Hornsby, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac. Bartenders were delightful and attentive. At 7, I went to see if the dinning room was ready for us...Yes! Our waiter, Chad, was personable and professional. He gave great suggestions and took all of our teasing well. Group enjoyed venison, sea bass, shrimp and tuna. Total Thumbs Up on all accounts. Then dessert - one of orur group had the Southern Pecan Pie and was practically licking the plate! She said she was going to get this for her whole family for Thanksgiving..no matter the cost!"

  • "First time visit to the Birmingham location. We had a little problem getting the entre correct but everything was taken care of quickly so no problem really. Very popular location on a Friday night. Wine selection is terrific and the desserts are just right. Can't wait to go back!"

  • "Hostess was perhaps the most unfriendly in recent memory. Waiter tried too hard and just forgot part of the order. Wait time for food table etc was really long. Reservation did not seem to matter. Dessert was small, over priced and nothing special."

  • "Excellent food. Extremely t pricey for flatbread and martinis, but entrees priced reasonably for upscale dining. Service was excellent (a bit hovery for our taste but very knowledgeable about the menu). Will definitely go again! Nice variety of dishes."
