Diner Reviews
  • "Atmosphere was great. Service was great. Food was great as well. Not much more I can say really. It was a great first experience at this establishment. I would recommend Seasons 52 to friends and family."

  • "I took my family to Season's 52 for Easter dinner on Sunday. Although they were very busy we received fast service and excellent food. Everyone in our party of five was very satisfied with our meals and we had a very nice conversation without a lot of noise from other diners."

  • "Out of the four items ordered the restaurant receives a one out of four rating. Dressing on the salad was overpowering, excessive, and suffocated the delicate flavor of baby spinach. The turkey was acceptable, but only after a flavor boost from the zinfandel bbq glaze. The grilled vegetable-farro pilaf was flavorless. Not a joke, flavorless! The Asparagus Soup suffered from a complete lack of seasoning, a little salt and pepper resurrected it to something palatable. The Wood-Roasted Pork Tenderloin was very good. "

  • "Always excellent service and deliverables. Few equal in the Orlando area."

  • "As a frequent visitor to Season's 52 Altamonte Springs, I am never disappointed with the experience. Friendly and quick reception, great service, excellent food. Only (minor) complaint is the white napkins. When wearing black clothes, we used to get an offer for a black napkin. It wasn't until we were leaving that I realized I had inherited quite a collection of white lint. Certainly didn't spoil the dinner, but could be a point for improvement. "

  • "Having neglected to specify a booth on our reservation we were told to sit in the bar, along with anyone without a reservation. I never saw the option to request a booth. The server was not pleased that we are not wine drinkers and neglected to refill our water. The food was adequate, not stellar and some items listed on the menu description were not in evidence, ie portabello mushroom on the scant polenta. Not enough food for the price. It was fresh and fairly tasty."

  • "The food and service is consistently good. The noise level is increasingly louder every time we go, though. Unfortunately due to that I can no longer recommend this restaurant as a place for a romantic dinner. If you are in and out before 7:00 pm, the bar area is actually the quieter section. Be sure to try the flatbteads! "

  • "Enjoyed our dinners at Seasons 52, as always. Selected rack of lamb and the fish special. Our server suggested good wines to go with each choice. We enjoy coming here to try the regular dishes, but also the seasonal specials. On this evening, we had some of each. The fish was a whole fish, stuffed with lemons and thyme. The server opened it tableside. The meat was light and fluffy, with the right amount of flavoring. The lamb was cooked a little on the rarer side than expected (ordered medium rare) - but we figured that was our ordering error. Still, it was delicious. Special appetizer was the mushroom stuffed with crab. And of course, the mini indulgence desserts are just enough to finish off the meal -without 'over' indulging."

  • "Food was very good and the service was good. Liked the wine list. Reservations honored quickly. Menu states "less than 475 calories per entree" Love that; however, if a person orders an appetizer and entree, the calories count goes up dramatically. Don't be fooled. Portions are perfect. Love the freshness of the products and choices."

  • "I took my boyfriend to Seasons 52 for his Birthday. Neither one of us had been there before. The restaurant was beautiful inside and out. The food was delicious. It was prepared perfectly. Their carrots ate prepared a little under done, so if you like carrots cooked a little more, they suggest that you offer them that way. They change the menu up 4 times a year. Claudia, our server, was spot on. She answered all our questions. She had a few suggestions for dinner at other times in the area that we would also like. The night we went, Friday, they had a piano bar going on. Caesar was great on the Piano and sang all the oldies that you would want to hear in that atmosphere. Best Birthday Dinner ever. We will definitely be back."

  • "Clean silverware, good service, excellent menu options. Staff knew ingredients well in the foods (we have a nut allergy). Ambience nice and quiet--a singer that night played piano. Always dependable food. We had made a reservation online beforehand."

  • "The two of us went here to celebrate a birthday. Was not disappointed. Had a wonderful time. We had reservations and we were promptly seated. in a very roomy booth. My companion was given a birthday card and wished a happy birthday at the start. We each picked a different flatbread to share as appetizers. The artichoke pesto was very tasty but the roma tomato flatbread was exceptional. I dubbed it "pizza of the angels". The entrees came out promptly and were so tasty. They were just unusual enough to make the meal special and familiar enough to not be scary. Overall a good meal and a good experience. I'd go back anytime."

  • "The food here is just wonderful and the wine selections great!! We have had a bit of a slow service problem the last few times....BUT, that being said...the food was terrific!"

  • "One of the best things about a 'chain' is that their system usually produces a consistent and predictable experience. You think of McD's normally..but in Season's case they have it down cold. Great, friendly, competent service with a wonderful menu, nice wines and a fair pour. We've never had a bad meal and even a good experience is sometimes made to look sub-standard when you have truly wonderful other experiences there. Server was fantastic, each item we had was wonderful (recommend the lobster flatbread-unique and good!). We were attended to but not bugged, there was never anything we wanted we didn't get and there was a fantastic mix of noise, music from the bar. Oh, and dessert."

  • "Seasons 52 is just another example of how Darden does restaurants RIGHT. The service was impeccable from the minute we walked in the door to the moment we walked out. The ambiance is delightful. The moment you walk in the foyer, the smell of the wood-fired oven to the bustle of the open kitchen area add some excitement to the experience. We opted to sit on the patio, which was a great choice. Our waiter, David, was great! Helpful and casual but gave you plenty of space. The food was amazing. The flavors were matched beautifully and presented beautifully as well. Overall this was a great experience."

  • "I was waiting for work to be completed on my car and decided to treat myself t lunch for one. I felt very comfortable eating alone here. I had a featured vertliner wine and the asparagus soup which was just the right consistency, not too flour-y or creamy and the house special lobster-mozzarella flatbread which was very tasty and bright due to very very thin slivers of lemon rind in the mix. This restaurant never disappoints. It was the first time at this location and I was happy with the quality of the experience."

  • "My favorite restaurant to go to with just my husband or a group of friends. Wasn't thrilled with the "chef specials" this visit. Only one entrée and it was the fish. But, as usual, the meal was delicious!"

  • "Cant say enough good things about Seasons 52 of Altamonte. My wife and I are such fans, that we now made it a weekly tradition for our 'date night'. the food is perfect (and right sized), and the service is wonderful. ... big big fans..."

  • "Dined here many, many times and always our go-to restaurant for special occasions and when we have guests in town. Food always great. This time service was poor - server was distinctly cool and didn't smile once. First time this has happened as servers always great in the past. However, will not discourage us from dining there again."

  • "The desserts were the best part of the meal…so petite! Everyone was able to enjoy a bite or two. Baked mushrooms were very delicious, and everyone was happy with their entree. I'm looking forward to a return visit the next time we are in the area."

  • "Had visiting relatives from Cambridge Ontario and wanted to wow them. One person in party was "meat and potatoes" kind of guy - have never seen him eat a veggie - he order trout and ate all veg. and trout - stated the grilled trout was best he ever had. Noise level was quiet, but we ate early before crowd arrived. Very pleasant evening and good meal. Service prompt - love the mini-deserts."

  • "You can always know that the quality of the food will be excellent, and will incorporate the wonderful flavors and food items found in each season. Never get bored with the menu again as it is always fresh and changing. Low calorie items and small mini indulgences will keep your figure intact, but satisfy your palette. Great for gathering with friends or family celebrations. So happy we have two in the Orlando area!"

  • "We like to go Seasons 52 for special occasions. We generally have great food & great service. This last visit was not as good as the previous visits. We felt rushed from the moment we sat down. The food was good but not as great as our previous visits. The check was given to us before we finished our mini desserts."

  • "The pork tenderloin was dry and tasteless and the scallops overcooked but we had a pleasant meal. This was our second Seasons 52 and it pretty much confirmed our feeling about the first time. It was a place to have a good but not exceptional meal in a pleasing environment. Jessica was a wonderful waitress, the wine was good, and the ambiance very comfortable. The pork came with a very good polenta with mushrooms and cipolline; the scallops had a nice risotto with asparagus. We shared the lamb meatball flatbread which was also excelent. The desserts were just the right size as well as being tasty. Thus we had a good meal despite the proteins not being executed perfectly."

  • "The staff was outstanding and the management very generous. The food was very flavorful and presented will. We were celebrating our 38th Anniversary and were treated royally at Seasons52. Several comps to celebrate. Great food and fantastic service. Would absolutely come back for more. Won't wait for a special occasion next time."

  • "We had a wonderful experience. We ordered the lamb flatbread and goat cheese ravioli appetizers. Good portion size and tasty. We ordered the sea scallop main entree. Very good! Cooked perfectly and the lemon rissotto was excellent. The alcoholic drinks were a bit pricey but other than that, I have no complaints. We were seated right on time."

  • "We had our anniversary dinner there one Saturday night. I called ahead and requested a quiet table. They gave us one. The food there is always delicious. They also gave us a surprise desert and champagne to celebrate! We'll be back. Good food, good service and good atmosphere."

  • "My wife and I had never been to Seasons 52 until this week. We had a great experience. The food was fantastic and our service was great. We though that it could be a quieter but was not upset with the atmosphere. The restaurant was full and gave us a good sign of what was to come. We both enjoyed our dinners (Mine the Branzino and my wife's the scallops) along with our salads (mine the warm tomato and mozzarella and hers the organic greens). We thought we would come back and sit near the piano area next time. I am always noticing first impressions that a restaurant makes and the initial hostess could smile more and be more inviting to incoming customers. Nonetheless, we will be back."

  • "My wife and I have eaten at this restaurant at least a dozen times and this is the first time we have been disappointed. The service was slow and, while my meal was excellent, my wife's was a disaster. She ordered two appetizers. Served first was a lobster tail which was so overcooked it was almost impossible to separate the meat from the shell. For her entree she ordered the small fresh arugula salad. Rather than being fresh and crisp, the arugula was limp and soggy, more like cooked spinach! It was so bad she couldn't even finish her small portion. She does not want to go back to this restaurant."
