The varied and calories-conscious menu allowed everyone to order a satisfying entree. The waitress brought a candle to the birthday person at dessert, without being asked. The favorite part was we asked her to take our picture. She volunteered to take it on our camera and then used her own and asked us to wait a minute. Out came four copies of the picture in a "frame". All of the items on the menu are clearly listed as being under 500 calories. I had an excellent Alaska Copper River Salmon with asparagus and veggies. It was great. AND YES, you can have dessert here. They are small but truly delicious. Here is a place where you will NOT get overstuffed - the environment is delightful. This location at Tysons is adjacent to another place that is really noisy and a collection for the Happy Hour Crowd. Seasons 52 is more sophisticated and quiet. And that is what I want. I would classify the cost per entrée as being medium-high, but definitely worth it!!! Came here recently to celebrate my and a friend's b-day. I had not seen my friend in 10 years although we kept up with each other. We were made to feel very special. Dessert, champagne and they even took a picture of us and gave us both a copy. Truly a gem! Once he took our order, he didn't come by at all to check on us, to see how our food was, to see if we needed more drinks, etc. We weren't in a rush, but it took forever for him to come and get our empty plates and ask about dessert and then he only came because we called him. Wonderful attention to her needs in terms of providing a convenient table and helping seat her. A group with diverse tastes, yet we were all happy with our choices. We were seated quite promptly and our waitress Marion was knowledgeable, polite and prompt. My wife and father both had the Cedar Plank Salmon and enjoyed it thoroughly. I thoroughly enjoyed the caramelized sea scallops, perfectly cooked and not at all rubbery. It was accompanied by pearl pasta and roasted asparagus. Yum!
The atmosphere was good and even when the restaurant was filling up it never seemed noisy. Our server was attentive without being annoying. Overall I was impressed to find such a place, particularly as it is inside a mall. I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. Waiter not sufficiently familiar with menu. Asked for salad with no dressing; was told not possible, but dressing could be light. Flatbread arrived first and cold; salad was drowning in dressing. HOWEVER, outstanding service recovery. When asked about food, we said flatbread cold. Server sent it back and Chef Matt came out to personally apologize and assure us a fresh one was being cooked. When told about the salad mix up, he immediately removed it, apologized again, brought out a remade salad with very little dressing. Service recovery took almost no time. The food is great, the service is knowledgeable and competent at the bar and in the dining room, and the wine selection and ability to taste wines is fantastic. Concept is that everything on the menu is under 475 calories and sure enough, salad has same number of calories, fat and carbs as the filet mignon dinner, much to my delight. Lots of infused flavors, steak may have been a touch dry, the flavor is superb. Tuna tartare is terrific, and i loved the presentation and taste. Skinny martini is a terrific low-cal indulgence options, and the mini-indulgences (desserts in shot glasses) of pecan pie and mocha macchiato were awesome. Visited the Tyson's VA location which is in the mall, so glad I made a reservation. When I reserved I requested a table in the back for a bit more quiet and I was given exactly as asked for.
