    Tiki1035 is located across the lobby of the Ocean Club Hotel and serves a casual bar menu from 12pm-10pm as well as our signature SeaSalt cocktails.

He even brought over an special menu describing which offerings were suitable for gluten-free, vegan, etc. It was very helpful. Everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. WE had small plates of food that we never had before article char with caviar snapper scallops tuna really great the main dishes veal chop and chicken were wonderful too. Way too much food but we had fun trying. Second time here and not thrilled with the desserts service was great timed everything so we had time in between each course very we'll run restaurant we will go back"

  • "The phrase "slit your wrists" is tossed around lightly these days, but as the clock ticked towards 90 minutes without our meals arriving, that impulse started to feel like our only escape. The under-experienced staff looked like the keystone cops scurrying about doing nothing. As for the food, the soup arrived cold, the calamari was far too salty, and our fish was over cooked- but hey, a lot things can happen to a piece of halibut in 90 minutes. There are better choices in Cape May, especially at this price point."

  • "Welcome another amazing restaurant to the Cape May fine dining scene! Every dish was well thought out and cooked to perfection. The service was the perfect balance of being attentive without being overbearing. Attention was paid to every last detail, from the pre-dinner cocktails at the bar to the French press coffee with desert (I've had many fine meals ruined by a bad cup of coffee, but not this time!). One caution - the service is leisurely, so if you have a strict timetable, let them know. It's not that the service is slow or poor, it's just deigned for a relaxed pace with time to enjoy the view and the company of your party between courses."

  • "This was our 3rd visit to this restaurant. The first 2 were mediocre experiences. On this visit, the menu had expanded and the food was much improved. However, we had requested patio seating when the reservation was made; that seating was confirmed when the restaurant called us the morning of. When we arrived however, we were told - without explanation - that the patio was full which was a disappointment given that it was a beautiful evening. Thereafter, the service was very disjointed and we had numerous staff serve different segments of our meal. The manager apologized for the service - but not the seating glitch - at the end of the meal and "comp'd" desert and coffee for the entire table. A nice gesture but we will not likely return soon"

  • "I live in Cape May and this was my first time at Sea Salt. We participated in Restaurant Week which was great because we were able to try items that are on their regular menu and a much less expensive price. Our waitress, Kendra was fantastic but we also had 5 other people come to our table; including 2 individuals who both brought our appetizer course out - twice as well as being offered our dessert course - twice. I think communication in the back of the house may need to be worked on. Good food - great view!"

  • "I have visited Cape May a number of times and have gone out with friends who live there to a number of restaurants that have come highly recommended. I have not been terribly impressed with the food at the others. This one, for me, is a stand out. My friends had the ink linguine dish, the halibut dish (which was part of a prix fixe) and I had a vegetarian plate (it is not on the menu, so ask). They were all, outstanding. The starter for me (pea risotto) was fine. THe only perhaps slight let down (too salty) but the others--crab and corn soup, were incredibly good and my colleague had a creme brûlée for dessert which was fab. Go! "

The dishes are "simple" but in their simplicity, the ingredients shine and Chef Lou's classical training is evident as he extracts strong depth of flavor in each individual course. We enjoyed a tasting menu, a very good value for the range and selection of dishes. Amy, the manager, paired wines for us with each course, which only added to our remarkable experience. The decor is modern and sleek, indicating fine dining in a relaxed, trendy atmosphere. The view of the beach and promenade is lovely and the outside dining looks promising as warmer weather approaches. Our server was working his second day and still discovering his cadence, but his enthusiasm was infectious. As summer residents, we will be back soon."

We had dinner at Sea Salt because it was part of the Ocean Club hotel where we were staying And because it was raining. The staff was so nice and went out of their Way to make our dinner special.   • "Food was excellent. Crab soup was outstanding. Veal chop was nicely seasoned as was the ribeye dinner. Waiter seemed to forget we were there most of the time. although we were celebrating our anniversary we didn't tell anyone. When our dessert took over twenty minutes to come out we were told celebration desserts took priority. We had to keep asking for water, and he packaged both of our meals in the same container so that the veal and gnocchi were dumped in with the ribeye and potatoes. Can't tell if he was over booked but all the same it took away from our experience. We will not go back."

  • "Upon entering SeaSalts new and appealing decor, I was looking forward to a great meal. Hostess showed us to our table and never returned with menus. We waited but she was busy setting tables that were empty, even though there were 10 empty tables ready for the next patrons. I finally chased her down to ask for menus. Our server barely stood still to take our order as if he had a more important place to be. The restaurant was half full and the noise level was high, I can't imagine what it is like with all the tables occupied. I will definitely go back to SeaSalt, but only to dine outside where the noise level must be lower. The night we went it rained."

One server, several assistants & 2 hostesses milling around on an off-season Tuesday that ended up being too busy for one indifferent server to handle well. Overheard the chatty server tell another table he'd been working 2 weeks straight so that may have accounted for the nonexistent "service." Staff clearly needs more training."

  • "The Sea Salt has been on our list for fine dining for a couple of seasons. Hooray we finely visited the Sea Salt. Fabulous meal. Great service. A little higher priced then some, but if not an issue do recommend dining here. We sat next to window with a great view of the beach and ocean. Chose not dine outside due to approaching bad weather and wind. I had the scallops and my husband had the BBQ chicken. Both met our expectations. Scallops were tender and nicely seasoned. Chicken was also tender and juicy. You cannot go wrong dining here."

  • "We were very disappointed with Sea Salt. We dined there over Labor Day weekend and opted for the first seating 3 course prix fixe menu. The appetizers were ok. My husband’s arctic char was not good and my linguini with seafood came out so steaming hot that the pasta proceeded to continue to overcook the seafood. Very disappointed given all of the good reviews. This was the only bad meal we had in Cape May."

  • "Restaurant hostess was nice but our table was not ready; she insisted we sit at the bar twice. Just as we were ordering drinks at the bar, she ushered us to a table. The bar decor and environment seemed to indicate that it would be a quiet, edgy, romantic atmosphere & then we were led to a very bright, louder, child-filled dining area and given a large table for 4 instead of a table for 2 that our neighbor had. The waiter mumbled, did not make eye contact, looked around alot while talking to us as though he had more interesting things to do and we were boring him. He forgot to bring bread. There was no pepper and salt on the table and plenty of food on the floor that the plethora of wait staff kept picking up and mopping up. Eat at the bar!"

The food and service were the best we experienced during our stay in Cape May.The only recommendations I have are if you are an adult group go a little later. Our reservation was at 7 and by 8 all the kids were gone and the atmosphere changed dramatically. They dimmed the lights and it took on a different vibe. Absolutely get dessert, we shared the mocha cheesecake....WOW!!!! We already are looking forward to going back."

  • "My wife and I ate dinner at Sea Salt. We have eaten in Cape May for over ten years, and this restaurant is now in my top three to eat at. We did the Chef's tasting menu. First, considering the quality of food and the amount of food you get, it was well worth the price. Second, the team service was fantastic.Third, the atmosphere was relaxed fine dining. We had a table next to a window which they lifted up for us to enjoy the beautiful weather. Finally, there was not one item listed below that we felt to be anything less than delicious. This was a tremendous dining experience, and kicked off our latest stay in Cape May in great style. We will most certainly be back, and cannot recommend enough!"

  • "My wife and I took her parents to Sea Salt, expecting a great experience based on the excellent reviews on OpenTable. Unfortunately, several dishes that we were interested in were sold out, including the fish of the day (branzino) and red snapper. Even a Chilean Malbec wine we selected turned out to be unavailable this night. No matter, though, because the meals we settled on were all excellent (braised lamb, Arctic char, seafood linguine, and ribeye steak). The food and drinks were delicious, and not one of us could possibly complain about the quality and presentation of our dishes. We will definitely return."

  • "Great place in cape May for something different. NYC atmosphere in Cape May Staff was great, Food was challenging in respect to something different International flair with great location. Good drinks and something special Book reservations early, tough to get a prime time. Chef has a great imagination and that made it fun , Food was well prepared and not boring ambiance was everything you want in a restaurant and if you dont, go outside on the deck"
