  • "We came back after a long time away. We forget you're so close and offer great food and atmosphere! Our recent visit was even better than we remember. The food was excellent! Not many restaurants know how to prepare fish. The grilled swordfish and complimenting ingredients and sides were awesome? I hope you always stay true to a clean preparation of fish. And we we very happy with our server and our table (side window table). Definitely recommend this gem that I think may not be on most folks radar screen. And the prices? Very reasonable!"

  • "I had the grilled haddock, and became very ill after returning from there.. we called to report this.. and no one called us back on the issue.. so much for customer service and good food"

  • "The food rating was a little lower only because when I ordered lobster and steak I thought it was lazy man's lobster. Too messy and did not enjoy cracking open the hard shell lobster. It may be a fun experience for some but not for me. Other than that it was fantastic!"

  • "We arrived earlier than our reservation and were greeted with friendly hosts. The atmosphere was great. Our table was at the window overlooking the sea. It was a stormy night, and the "seas were angry, my friend", so that made our dinner more exciting! The waiter,John, was very friendly and professional. The food was excellent. We both had fish and it was delicious. Portions were good and artistically arranged on plates. Desert menu was tempting, but we declined. The dining experience was relaxing and we will return!"

  • "Been to Seaglass often - good experiences - The food has improved so much since it opened and the whole complex has elevated the beach- kudos to the efforts. Our table arrangements had been changed, we were placed on the interior. I have trouble hearing in noise as is, and the pianist (great touch) was just WAY too loud. Server did request an adjustment to the volume- helped considerably. Strong tempo to the meal and felt rushed as the server charged around the room and placed our plates very abruptly. It was late on the 4th perhaps not the best plan. I will give anyone the benefit of the doubt, and hope we don't encounter this again - in general a great spot for well-prepared food especially for a special night out, we will return."

  • "The wine recommended was not satisfactory but at our request the general manager substituted one at the same price that was excellent. The oysters on the half shell were excellent. The first course Pinot Grigio and specialty martini were acceptable. The filet minion was just average in quality but cooked properly and the rack of lamb was very good but cooked to medium instead of medium rare as requested. The view over the ocean at a window table was superb. Parking in the fee lot was very tight. We have dined at this restaurant several times previously."

  • "The only criticism: there were no frozen drinks and ranch dressing. Excellent service, great view, excellent menu and the food was well prepared. Overall it was a very good dining experience. I will return."

  • "Our visit to the Seaglass Sunday Brunch was an outstanding experience!! Online reservation option was convenient and easy to use. Plenty of parking in front of the building. Every table has a view of the ocean, so if you are not seated at a "window table", no worries, you will have a pleasant view while dining. The food .... AAA+++......the cooks at the omelette station were great, cooked our eggs perfectly. Fresh fruit station, salad station and the variety of hot choices, breakfast danish and muffins, "deserts" and the shrimp cocktail was simply amazing. We traveled 55 miles to the Seaglass and I can't wait to go back and share this experience with my family and friends.....WORTH THE TRIP..!!"

  • "This is what fine dining with a casual vibe should be ,in my opinion! From the hostess to the servers the care was superb and attentive. Yet the atmosphere was relaxed. Even when a glass nearby fell and broke shattering all over. The nearby waitress was thorough and pleasant in the impeccable cleanup process. Food was superb. I had rack of lamb and the potatoes (gratinee with Swiss cheese). A recipe I do make quite well. Sea glass was superior. At my table 2had seafood. Great and one had pork chop also great. Thank you for pleasant experience"

  • "Fabulous ocean view! All staff was very friendly and accommodating. Brunch was delightful, lots of nice choices. The free parking was a huge plus and very convenient on a busy summer day."

  • "If you visit Seaglass Restaurant on a sunny weekend, be sure to allow an extra half hour to get there! The traffic barely crawled from route 95 all the way into Salisbury. Once there, we found the restaurant to be bright and well appointed with huge windows looking out over the ocean. The beach actually runs up under the building. The buffet was about what we expected, with fresh fruit, pastries, a few hot options like potatoes and sausage. And you can have a custom omelet made to order. There's plenty to eat, though the selection was not extensive. All told, it was pretty good but not outstanding."

  • "My boyfriend and I love it at the Seaglass. It is definitely one of our favorite places. John was our waiter and he was right on it! We would definitely ask for him next time we make a reservation. John made the dining experience even more special and fun!! Please thank the chefs for an outstanding meal! We will be in touch again and will request John. Thank you kindly, Pam & Jon"

  • "Reservations on line confusing. Wanted to be by the window . 54 th anniversary. Did not realize had to call a second time to confirm window. Arrived and was given a table in the middle . Explained made a reservation and they e-mailed me confirmation was made and confirmed. Thought that was enough. Was upset to find my window reservation was not there but dinner was. That is ridiculous as why you would have to Make another call. Very disappointed with the on line reservation service; however, the manager and our server were very nice and tried to make it a pleasant dining of which they did. We looked at the on line when we got home and I did not follow the proper directions. Guess at 78 yrs old Things get a little confusing. Thanks"

  • "We have never been fans of most brunches. They tend to be less personal and the quality of the food a bit lower than table service. The made to order omelettes were good with many options of ingredients. We prefer Seaglass for dinner. They should have the bar open so you have the option if the brunch thing is not your choice."

  • "I requested a window seat didn't get one. I didn't know you had to call over the phone. Why have online reservations. Four of us went out for dinner. Love the views. My friend order the chicken with cream sauce. The menu did not say spices. She asked the waitress the waitress came back and told her Cajun spices. That should have been noted on the menu. She could not eat it. The waitress offered nothing seeing she ate nothing. He other three meals were excellent we wil be going back again."

  • "Beautiful Restaurant and Views. Was impressed with the bar/lounge and will be back with friends to hang out there. The dining room was beautiful and had the best views of the ocean. The food was delicious! Great service too!"

  • "Scenic view but the windows were as dirty as mi mariposas martini. The bread was excellent although we did have to remind the waiter to bring it. Otherwise John was attentive and very professional as well as entertaining. The scallops he recommended were excellent. My lobster pasta was missing an integral spice. Any spice. It was bland but had great potential. Basil would have been great. Overall it's worth the trip."

  • "We went for our anniversary brunch with the kids. The brunch was excellent with omelets to order. Our server was Peggy who was great. She was attenative to our table. She took the time to tell us about the nightime activities, that go on there. We sat at the windows which had a great beach view. The price was very reasonable."

  • "The food was beautifully prepared and presented. The service was top shelf and the view of the Atlantic Ocean was amazing! Very romantic! the only suggestion I have is If you go during the day at Beach season, request not to be seated towards the right side of the restaurant as you are facing the ocean. There is another outdoor restaurant that you will be looking at with some real Ghetto type characters that will make you lose your lunch!"

  • "Sat at bar for a while before dinner and trying to get a drink was painful. Bartenders very slow. Even when we went to pay in order to go sit and dine it was difficult to get bartenders attention to pay them. Ended up just going to eat and the bartender brought bar bill over eventually. Service at dining table was outstanding. Attentive and fast."

  • "You will go to Seaglass for the view...right on the ocean, glass all around...but you will go back because the food and service are also outstanding. If you have ever dined at The Ocean House on Cape Cod, Seaglass compares favorably with that. Request a table by the window if possible, and dine during daylight hours to totally appreciate the view."

  • "lunch for four elderly ladies was a huge success on a beautiful day with the high tide slapping the windows, which badly need cleaning. Food was great if somewhat over-priced. Our waitress was attentive and efficient. Our group will most certainly make the long drive to dine again, and I plan on taking my husband there for his upcoming birthday."

  • "Lunch on wife's birthday. Indicated such on OpenTable reservation, but this ignored by restaurant. Sandwiches were reasonable. However, one fork was dirty, waitress forgot wife's iced tea, never refilled water. To her credit, she comped us glass of wine as result. Large windows overlooking ocean were dirty. Wanted to come here for a long time. Glad we had lunch rather than more expensive dinner. Live locally, won't be back."

  • "With out of town friends in tow, I was looking for something special...I did not find it. Although our table was near enough to the windows, they were so glazed with salt you could hardly see out. The food was expensive and just OK. Service was very good. I would not bother to go back."

  • "We've eaten at the Seaglass several times, each one has been very good. If you call ahead and reserve a window seat the view is beautiful. Crashing waves on the beach and sail boats on the horizon. Father's day dinner was excellent with all seafood cooked perfectly. My partner had baked stuff haddock, the stuffing was a crab cake and it also included a large lobster claw. I had sea scallops which were cooked perfectly. Appetizers were very nice oysters on the half shell and blue crab."

  • "We usually love the Sea Glass! This time I took my husband for Father's Day. The food was good but our waiter was miserable. We waited much to long for everything. Not because it was busy, it wasnt. But the waiters lack of attention and grumpy rushed, I want to go home attitude ruined it. We sat with empty water glasses, empty drink glasses, and his rotten mood. It ruined my husband's Father's Day. We planned on tipping 40% because it was a holiday but we only left 25%."

  • "We had dinner on a Sunday evening at 6:00 - service was aweful...the restaurant was not very crowded and all waitstaff appeared overwhelmed. It took four requests for my water to be refilled, we sat with our empty plates in front of us for more then 15 minutes, bread was served with our entrée....not sure much else could have gone wrong from a service perspective. Then to top it off the food was mediocre at best - my fiancé and I both had dishes with sauce on top and you could tell by the state of the sauce they had sat under the lights waiting to be brought out to us. For the cost of dinner the service and food didn't add up!"

  • "Picking a restaurant for 3 couples can be daunting. We hit the jackpot with Seaglass. Everyone enjoyed the view, their dinners and the ample parking was a plus. Our waitress was sweet, answering our questions and was attentive. It was a wonderful experience and all said they would bring others back with them. "

  • "As always, the food and ambiance was excellent. This is the second time however that I have dined at Sea Glass and have had poor service. Our waiter seemed ok at first, but he brought us our dinner plunked it down, never asked if we needed anything else(and all our drinks were empty). I had to summon him over about ten minutes into our meal to get some water and another round. He still never asked us how our meal was or if we needed anything. I love the place, but at an average of $25.00 a plate and everything else alacarte, the management needs to make some changes."
